Third time in Ensenada and I finally stopped at this spot near one of my favorite taco places because I wanted an authentic Mexican margarita. And WOW. Best margarita I've ever had. I watched them squeeze fresh limes right into the shaker, and the tequila pour was VERY generous. The lime, salt and Tajín-style rim were perfection. I'm still thinking about it. I also loved the atmosphere. It's open and welcoming, with bar seating, outdoor barstools and tables, plus a nice ocean breeze. Just a really relaxed Ensenada vibe and exactly what I want when I'm here. I wasn't hungry because I'd already had tacos, but everything I saw coming out looked amazing. Burgers, onion rings, ribs... I'll definitely be back to try the food. And they have Wi-Fi! If you're cruising without an internet package, grab some food and cocktails, check your emails or FaceTime your loved ones. I ordered a margarita and they were also able to make it a mango blended margarita, and it was one of the best blended mango margaritas I've ever had! We came on a Sunday and the bartender is doing almost everything - making the drinks, taking orders, and serving the food. It was busy so it was slowing down a little bit to place an order, but it was totally understandable. He was making moves though so it's definitely not his fault. The ambiance is casual, cute, and they had the back door and front open for a cross breeze. Seating- Five four top tables and one two top, but the tables are placed up against a booth so you could potentially sit more kids or people on the booth side. There's also barstools sitting at the bar, I see four chairs (looks like one is missing) and then it wraps around outside also so they can serve your drinks there too. I didn't order food, but we saw some of the food getting handed out and OMG it looked so freaking delicious! Their burgers are legit looking and huge, and their ribs are covered in sauce. I'll add pics of the menu! Also, the location on the Yelp map is not accurate to the location of the restaurant. Delicious and not outrageous prices.... the ribs are falling off the bone and the macaroni and cheese is amazing!

This place has delish hot dogs. Good luck with parking but the location is great if you are staying on 1st street because you can walk over. My hot dogs was super good, I only got the regular one but it was so full filling. The fries were pretty good too. My friend got the texas dog which has chilli on top. My daughter had a cheese burger, although she said she gives the kids burger 3 stars. She also had a chocolate milkshake and she was happy with that. The decor was pretty cool, the music that was playing was awesome and the service staff was fantastic. I totally recommend this place if you find yourself in Ensenada. read more

Incredible food, you can customize substitutions, such as "no cheese," at the little known hideaway. Cons: the waitress spoke very little English, but why would she, I should be speaking a little more Spanish since I am the one in Ensenada Mexico :-) Pros: They have "Free Wi-Fi," and with a smartphone you can use Google translate and fill in any order details you want. Language problem solved. They are open until 10 PM, most eating places close to the main strip close between 6-7pm. As of my trip, they only accepted cash or Visa. But the prices are very, very low when converted from Pesos to dollars. 1 dollar is 18 pesos as of today, so imagine the value if you are using US dollars. I didn't have time to take shots of the menu, but it has a nice selection. However, I can highly recommend the Salmon with baked potato. It is possibly the best Salmon I tasted in quite a while. If i could give this place no stars i would. I went here with a party of 4, they have both inside and outside seating which is a great option. The prices are expensive for mexico and the food is not good at all. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad and the chicken was bland and looked like it was boiled in the microwave, my husband ordered a burger and order of onion rings, both were extremely greasy. My friend ordered the chillaquiles and they were bland and tasted like tomato paste, while my other driend ordered pancakes and they tasted bland as well. The only good part was the outdoor seating. I will never return. The waiter knew that my food was disgusting yet didnt offer to cancel the order, i only took a bite of the chicken and spit it out, salad dressing was pure mayo. There's 6 of us and half our table got served while we waited another half an hour for the rest of our food. Bad service, rude staff sitting at the bar while one waitress busted her ass doing everything, only reason why I'm doing 2 stars cause the food wasn't anything special either... I'm giving it 3 stars based on the 2 times we ate there while in Ensenada this past Memorial Day weekend. First time we went was on a Sunday morning. I'll give this visit 5 stars based on service and quality of food. I took my 3 daughters and myself. My wife decided to stay in and sleep through breakfast. We arrived and were promptly Seated. Our waitress was a young lady with awesome service skills. She waited on us hand and foot. Served our drinks and coffee ASAP. Took our food order and it came out quick. She must have gone to check on us 6 to 10 times as we are out breakfast I ordered chilaquiles and my kids got muffin breakfast sandwiches and eggs with bacon with pancakes. Food was good and great prices. We really enjoyed everything especially the service from our waitress. Very impressed So of course we bragged to my wife how everything was great etc. the following morning after we checked out of our hotel - el Rey sol - my wife wanted to try it out We headed down the short block to have breakfast. There was no one there eating so we were the only ones. The waiter this time was a young man. He brought over the menus and we ordered drinks. 2 coffees , 1 OJ and 2 chocolate Licuados. He comes back 5 min later to inform us that they are out of chocolate. It's 11 am !!! Really ? Switched to 2 lemonades. It took him 15 min or so to bring 2 lemonades and 1 OJ. THe rest of the time he sat at the counter playing with his phone. All the meanwhile our 2 coffees had not been brought over. 25-30 later I yell at him if he can bring our 2 coffees while we wait for our food. He says ok. And even though the coffee pot was at arms length he still sat there 5-10 minutes browsing on his phone before he got up to serve our coffees !! By this time I was furious. 50 minutes later our food arrived. Basic breakfast fare took this long ?? A couple of plates were already cold. Needless to say we all just ate a little off our plates as we were not pleased one bit. Horrible experience the second time around. And it's really unfortunate because this place is clean and it has potential. But if ownership can't see this going on , it's going to fail. There is no excuse to have to wait 50 plus minutes to get basic breakfast served especially when we were the only party there. This second visit was on Memorial Day Monday May 29th at around 11-11:30 am. Just in case mgmt wants to review who was working this shift and fix this issue read more
