They messed up my sister's burger twice... She asked for no mayo on a double bacon cheese burger First time they put mayo. Nothing really special here. My burger was dry like the cook had a 10 lb weight on it while it was cooked. On a positive note, they do toast your bun which is cool, the portion size is good, the service was good and the menu was priced right. Hence the the second star. We ordered at the window for on Sunday evening (4/30/23, 8pm) and it took over 25 minutes before our order was ready. They were not busy with business, only with visitors. As I was waiting I observed that the young employees were busy visiting with their friends more than working. We've been coming to this place a couple of times a month and usually order the same items which are the Rueben and the Turkey Melt. This time the food was not acceptable. The corned beef was heated on the flat top and it was crispy and somewhat burnt, as well as there was hardly any sauerkraut and no 1000 island or anything else on it. It was not edible! The turkey melt was much smaller than usual and in a hamburger bun instead of the usual sourdough bread. I have made several attempts to call but the line is either busy or they don't answer. Very poor customer service at the window and the food was sloppily placed in the containers. Really disappointed and I think we should get the $25 cost refunded if we can ever get a manager. We were passing through and had heard great things about Burgerlicious. I went with a cheeseburger, garlic fries and sprung for the peanut butter shake. The burger was a tad over-done, but not grossly. The fries were delightful! They didn't have the chunks of garlic like some garlic fries, but they were battered and maybe had some kind of garlic powder on them. I'm really not doing them justice- they were amazing, and perfectly cooked. These guys know how to make a peanut butter shake right- chocolate ice cream, mixed with peanut butter (not vanilla soft serve with chocolate sauce/flavoring like a lot of places do). They only thing that could have made it better would have been to mix in some Reese's peanut butter cups. I would have given it 5 stars if it were a bit cleaner (it wasn't terrible) and had a better seating arrangement (not a lot of seats while busy). Oh my goodness. I saw the reviews, I ignored them ... and I regretted it. I honestly thought the previous reviewers were picky or pretentious. I thought--they're burgers, how bad could they be? They were bad. REALLY bad. We ordered two burgers, two fries, one soda and a milkshake. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, we were told ice cream machine was broken and that I'd have to order something other than a milkshake. OK ... wish I would have known before I paid? I ordered the Boss Burger, which the menu describes as having "bacon, Swiss cheese & crispy onion rings." Here's what I got: a stale bun, a patty burnt beyond recognition, and soggy onion rings. It was hardly edible. But since my husband suggested the place, I powered through about 1/3 of it. The burger patty was so chewy that bits were sticking between my teeth. My garlic fries were laughable--overly burnt and covered in garlic salt. Still flavorless and inedible. My husband's "Burgerlicious" burger was a sloppy, disgusting mess. I make it a point to stop here everytime when I drive to Antioch to pick up my granddaughter. Never had any bad experiences. They make old fashion milkshakes which I always order. Their garlic fries are fantastic. They give you a large portion of fries with your burger. I always make changes to my burgers and have never had a mistake in my order. During the summer, at times, it gets super busy but I'll wait. The previous owners closed whenever they wanted, but the current owners stay open until at least 9:00pm. I can depend on them for food when I'm pass through Rio Vista around 8:00. read more

You can't sit outside bc the picnic tables are horribly close to some dirty mystery shed and the bathrooms, and surrounded by flies. The burgers are nowhere near worth it. The place was pretty good overall. I would go back if I was in the area and wanted a burger. Atmosphere: The place has a walk up window you could order from and a few smaller tables to eat outside. Inside is kinda small but the tables are larger than the outside ones. The decor is 50's to 60's style diner, lots of pics and posters of old cars and celebrity's. My only complaint was a few flies annoying me while trying to eat. Service: The girl taking our order was friendly and capable. The food took quite a while to come out. We did have a large order though for two adults and four kids. Food: There is a good selection of burgers and sandwiches to choose from. I ordered the burgerlicious burger and onion rings. The burger came fully loaded with bacon, cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, and guacamole. All the topping were really good. The burger patty was slightly on the overcooked dry side but decent. Out for a drive during Covid and found Burgerlicious on Yelp. Rated 3 1/2 stars which is what I would rate it for the food. The cashier was helpful and friendly so 4 stars it is. My burger was huge but rather lacking in flavor. Sweet potato fries are good, not great. My husband's Reuben was good, not great but was a good size portion. He had a big mound of fries also. If you're really hungry and care more about portion size than flavor, then this is the place to go. Couldn't go inside due to Covid, but they have an outside entry for the bathroom... gross bathroom! read more
