We stopped at Burgerlicious twice in the last couple of weeks. The first time, the weather was unseasonably pleasant for December, so we took our burgers down to the river and ate overlooking the water. The burgers were as good as ever. Yesterday was a different thing, though. It was cold outside, so we decided to eat in the dining room. It took FIFTY MINUTES to get our food. The time stamp on my receipt said 6:30pm. At 7:00pm, I went to check on our order and she said it was coming up, but then started to hand me someone else's order. When I told her what we'd ordered, she looked at the order wheel and said, "Oh, yours is next." Then it took another 20 minutes to make two burgers, a side of fries, and a side of onion rings. That's just too long, especially since the dining room was freezing cold, too. We asked if the heat could be bumped up, but she said something like, "Sorry, but they lock it so we can't adjust it." He's on the hunt when he spotted Burgerlicious, almost missed it, whipped into the parking lot (think retired 27 yrs stuntman, done much worse!) and there was the handmade milkshake menu front and center. Yes indeed, these were rich and creamy, not pumped up with air, and yes, homemade with no nonsense real ingredients, although we never asked. And the shakes were just milk, NO ice cream. My grandson's made the remark that McDonalds would of been better and cheaper. We will NEVER EVER GO BACK. My husband wanted me to try so we drove about an hour to this spot. It has outside and indoor seating. Its a cute little spot with ruby red seats. Very clean and welcoming. The menu is straight forward with some creative names for their items. We got the patti melt and a 49er burger let tell you the sizes of these burgers was huge. Burgerlicious as a small restaurant along the busy Hwy 12 in Rio Vista that is akin to a small mom in pop burger joint like Val's. It has a small indoor dining area and a good amount of outdoor seating. I chose to have their Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings and sat indoors. They have cool photos inside of hotrods and shows that have taken place locally. I must say that the burger was quite good. It was tastefully seasoned and the bacon had the right amount of crunch. The onion rings though was quite a disappointment. The copious amount of breading that lacks flavor unraveled a quite a thin onion inside, thereby having minimal 'onion'ey' taste. Is this a detractor? Absolutely not! The sandwich itself is well made that Burgerlicious is now a spot for me for lunch here in Rio Vista. Switch up 'rings for fries and I am squared. read more

Burgers are good. I love there turkey melt. Garlic fries are alright. Wish they used fresh garlic. It takes a bit to get your food after ordering. But that's a good thing. You know it's fresh. Good price. You get more bang for your buck there than other fast food places. It's more of a grab and go type of place but there is seating indoors and out. This was our first time eating at this location. We figured we would stop by since we were doing laundry right across the way. Their portions are pretty generous. I had the Swiss mushroom burger and a side of chili cheese fries. I'm not sure if it was the chili that made my french fries taste as though they were, possibly not cooked all the way, or it was seem to the fact that my french fries were not cooked all the way. But overall from a meal standpoint, I would say about a six out of 10. The guys that were working here this particular night, we're polite. And our food was Prepared in a fair amount of time. I do notice that this location does get a lot of business whether from the locals or from people passing through from a fishing trip or a day at the lake and on their way back home crossing through town. Pricing seems pretty fair for what you were getting. we will visit another time to check out some other options on the menu. Give it a try again. We were looking for fast food in Rio Vista on our way to Woodland. There weren't too many options and we aren't fans of franchise fast food so we stopped at Burgerlicious. It's not much to look at and they were short-staffed on Memorial Day Monday, so we wiped down our own table. I'm still giving it 5 stars. A single bacon cheeseburger had a huge patty and was absolutely yummy as were the wonderful garlic fries. My husband really liked his fish sandwich and fries. Sadly, we probably won't pass through this way again as our daughter is moving, but if we do, we'll surely stop here again for a quick and delicious lunch! read more

We decided to give Burgerlicious a try tonight. We took the whole gang. Our teen, tween, and toddler all approved of their meals. Mom and I liked the food and the prices, too! Mom had a regular burger... it came with sweet potato fries. She also shared a root beer float with our two-year old. They both loved the float! She reported the burger was really good, as well. I ordered the chicken wing combo, wings, rings, and soda. The chicken wings were off the hook! They were freaking delicious! Our 13 year old had a grilled ham and cheese and she said it was very good! Our 11 year old had a hot dog. Both came with fries. We also ordered chili cheese fries. They were bomb! Our two-year old ordered a corn dog, he almost ate the whole thing, this was the only item that didn't come with fries; but it was only $3, so what would you expect? Overall, this little drive in takes the cake! The service is good. The food is fantastic! And during the COVID-19 pandemic (as always) they have outdoor seating! Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich is a MUST TRY. Loved it, not greasy, but chock full of really good grilled steak and grilled peppers and onions and cheese. Excellent bun! We love this place, but the one thing I really wish they'd change is an option for the fries, like cole slaw.
