The service was nice, fast and friendly. I liked the freestyle drink machine and they offer a full bar surprisingly. I got a beef burger with cheesy jalapeño fries and the fries were great. The right amount of sauce and toppings. The burger however was underwhelming. Spending almost $20 for a burger, fries and a drink at lunch was a little steep to me. The party box includes wings (homemade sweet Asia sauce, homemade) that were huge and crispy, French fries (family said they were awesome as I've been on a fry embargo the last three years)' and the onion rings were excellent. "I heard that crunch" said my daughter from the other side of the table as I bit in. The burgers were solid. They are sliders, so a bit more condensed but all coke with tomato, lettuce and pickle. House sauce is optional. Reasonably priced and staff was so welcoming and friendly. The milkshakes. We didn't order one and that is my biggest regret. BurgeeIM is another delightful burger place. The diversity of the burgers they offer are impressive for the Cleveland food scene. Imagine my happiness when I found out that BurgerIM was open at Cedee Park. I had the trio that included two lamb burgers and one Angus burger. Both were absolutely delicious. The fries were shaped like potato chips, but they truly tasted like good ole fries. Just three burgers and a side of fries made me satiated. Now, the food here could be a bit pricey compared to other burger places. But I'd say the clean tables, the cute burgers, and the lack of mystery meat makes BurgerIM worth it on the occasion. Sweet potato fries were in large portion and not crispy but soft and chewy but tasty. They were great with the unexpectedly deliciously creamy side of mayo I requested. After several futile attempts, I was finally able to walk in - around 11:30 am on a weekday, and was delighted to see that there was no line. The interior is an interesting display of vintage appeal fused with modern efficiency - with the look of a diner circa 1957. If you choose to dine in, there is a classic sit down counter which overlooks the grill, and ample seating is available in a moderately sized dining area. There are wall-mounted televisions throughout the restaurant as well! After looking over the menu, I took the dive and selected the Hawaiian Salmon Burger - a scrumptious 1/4 lb. salmon pattie topped with pineapple, red cabbage slaw, barbeque glaze, and a tangy ginger vinaigrette! There are a variety of interesting burgers to order from which can be supplemented with fries/onion rings and unlimited soda fountain refills. The soda machine is one of those digital machines that allow you to choose from a variety of flavors and sub-flavors. For example, Coke Zero has choices of the original flavor, vanilla, cherry, lime, cherry vanilla, and more. The burgers themselves are solid. I've only tried a few but so far I don't remember any burgers blowing my mind. The different kinds of burgers are interesting and make me want to come next time to try a different one. There's also a happy hour with $4 draft beer and a "duo" or "trio" build-your-own burger items. This is a great addition to University Circle Uptown! I feel like the area has been needing some type of burger joint or grubby American food that didn't follow the Chipotle style fast customization. I recommend getting the duo, or a trio if you're up for it. I tried the lamb and grilled chicken and they were both great burgers with great portions. You can tell it is a quality burger. The lamb is a lamb patty, and I ordered a medium well that was marked for well done (the 2 options) but I still thought it was very juicy. My friends tried other patties including beef, crispy chicken, and salmon. The consensus was that everything was solid, full of juicy meat and flavor. Also the fries are interesting, I would recommend trying them out. They're like poofy french fry potato chips. It's one of the few places in Uptown I'll be drawn back to! The service was also great and attentive, which I usually don't notice or expect at a non sit-down restaurant. If you are Muslim, don't get the bacon. I've been eating the burger with the bacon for years thinking it was halal like everything else and only yesterday did I find out that it is not. I have ordered here numerous times and I'm obviously Muslim on the outside and none of the cashiers have ever informed me. My friend and I were seeing a film nearby at the Cinematheque and needed a quick bite. BurgerIM is a California-based chain for burgers, fries and shakes. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with a side of their fries. I didn't get a photo because we were on a tight timeline, but their version of "fries" are more like circular potato chips. I wasn't a huge fan as they had an awkward taste. The chicken sandwich was just OK - to be honest, I can't remember anything about it. It was just fine. For the inexpensive price, it was what could be expected. The service was really fast. I also loved the soda robot. Do you want diet vanilla ginger ale? Sure, the soda robot has everything, just browse and select. While the food was just OK, the soda robot surely entertained us. It's finally open! My coworker and I have been waiting for the longest time for them to open their doors. The open sign caught us by surprise (that's why no pics-wasn't prepared) and we had to stop in for a weekday lunch at noon. I got the falafel burger and she got the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I know, we went to a burger joint and neither of us got a burger. But we're not sad. Our sandwiches tasted great, nice flavor on the protein, fresh toasted bun, crunchy veggie toppings with good and crispy fries.
