I like the burgers here, they are absolutely delicious, but the only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is the price. It is ok to spend $15 on a burger meal and drink for dinner, but not so much for lunch which is when I would actually go here since it's close to my office. They need to have some kind of lunch deal. I don't usually like chocolate but I drank that cool creamy shake until I was so full I couldn't take another sip! There is something for everyone here. If you like egg on your burger, try the breakfast burger (fried egg, cheese, and a hash brown!). If you're a vegetarian, go for the veggie burger, and if you don't want a burger at all, have a grilled hot dog topped with chili and cheese! The onion rings are enormous and the fries are cut fresh and served piping hot! After driving past this place for a year, I'm finally sold! Well with great anticipation we arrived only to be confused by the menu. The guy at the counter patiently explained it to us. I decided on a single bacon cheeseburger. I always shop at Trader Joe's and this cute little spot had always caught my eye, so I finally went last night. (I had thought it was a sit down restaruant) We walked in about an hour before they were about to close, but the cashier still greeted us with a smile and asked if we had any questions. We explained it was our first time and he was very nice and explained the menu to us (it can be a little overwhelming if you've never been) and asked more what we were looking for in our burgers and advising on the best route to go. I ended up eating part of my bride's burger and she ended up eating part of mine before we realized we had the wrong ones, all the while wondering where my jalapenos and hot sauce were. The only edge Burgerfi has over other "burger joints" is they offer beer, wine and frozen custard. The frozen custard treats are terrific and probably worth the price. It's the rest of the menu that's overpriced and not up to par. Almost $50 for 3 burgers, 1 large fry, 3 fountain drinks and 3 frozen custards. There's no tip involved here. BurgerFi is a wonderful little burger joint with well-priced burgers & yummy homemade fries. Very similar to Five Guys, BurgerFi cooks up some mean cheeseburgers but they have their own little flavor. They also have more things than just burgers- they have veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, and custard shakes. AND they have several local beers on tap- a definite plus that 5guys lacks!! Though you can't get your burger cooked however you want, you can get whatever toppings on it for a great price. I ordered a cheeseburger with jalapenos, special sauce, pickles, and onions. Sara ordered the bacon cheeseburger with toppings, and we shared an order of fries. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine so I got a drink and Sara got a local Aviator beer, and our bill was $19!! WOW. This place is much better than Five Guys... their ingredients are great & they have more options. The only thing I really didn't like was that I was advised that their tip jar is taken up my management at the end of the night and saved up for a pizza party. They had quite a bit of tips in there, and the girl at the counter told me they've only had one party in the last 4 months.... so I feel that their tip jar is a bit of a scam! I've been checking out Burgerfi for a few months now and finally decided to stop in. The first thing I noticed and loved was their menu. If you are picky about what you like/do not like on your burger, this is definitely the place for you. Next to their "custom" burgers is an array of burger sizes and toppings in which to build your own burger. It was a little overwhelming, but I am so glad that they have so many options just in case one does have any allergies or again is just particular about what they like. The lady at the counter was very patient with me as I looked over the menu and then handed me a paper menu when she saw I was struggling with what to decide. After telling her it was my first time here she took a minute to explain the menu and options to me, which I thought was very courteous. I decided on the Burgerfi Burger without cheese, a double patty, and green style (I love that you can get your burger wrapped in lettuce for no additional charge!). I also decided to get a regular French fry with no toppings--although there are tons of them just like the burgers. I waited a little while for my food, but it was worth it as I saw them physically cutting potatoes and their burgers are made fresh. The food is given to you on a metal tray, which I thought was cute and easy to carry. The burger patties were full of flavor and I loved their Burgerfi sauce, which is a mayonnaise base/mix. I also really enjoyed the French fries, which still had the skin on them. They were not greasy and you could tell that they were hand cut and fresh. The only thing I wish that they advertised that their fries are cooked in peanut oil on the menu, not on the paper which is covered by your food. Overall I really enjoyed my first experience at Burgerfi--the service and the food was great. I see why one of my co-workers drives here from Fayetteville to get a burger. The burgers and fries are fresh and they use natural/locally sourced ingredients, which makes one (well at least me) feel better when I am eating a burger and fries (smile). BurgerFi is a good place to try if you're in the mood for a good fast food style burger. Definitely better quality than actual fast food joints such as McDonalds, BK, etc. One thing I really like is that they don't use hormones or antibiotics in their meat which a huge plus. I've been here a couple times but almost recently I came and ordered a cheeseburger with a single patty, an order of onion rings, and an Oreo milkshake. Everything was really good. One complaint I had is that the milkshakes are pretty skimpy.. there is only one size so it seemed weird they barely filled it to the top and gave me a small dollop of whipped cream. Normally milkshakes are filled to the brim and the whipped cream is seeping through the top. Another issue is this place gets PACKED!! I came at the perfect time but as I was waiting for my food I noticed about 15-20 people were waiting in line after I got there. Definitely plan for this!! Last thing to point out is that the service was awesome. The guy at the counter handling the food pick up was super friendly and asked if I wanted any sauces which I LOVED because I am a huge sauce person. For my choice of menu, I got the 'the twenty eight burger'. It's a "DOUBLE 28-DAY DRY-AGED GROUND BRISKET BURGER, SWISS + BLUE CHEESE, LETTUCE, TOMATO, PICKLES, BURGERFI SAUCE". In other words, a really delicious burger!!! I've recently started to fall in love with burgers and fries. I don't know what triggered this obsession for a perfect burger and crispy fries combination, but I love burgers-- well most burgers. I'm not quite sold for the veggie burger scene yet, just because I have yet to have found a really good veggie burger... He liked the huge onion rings, burger (agreed on the small size patty)and beer - but BOY, the jalapenos were especially hot today! But I didn't expect them to be flattened to a quarter of an inch and barely fill the bun (or lettuce in my case). I ordered the veggie burger and fries. The only downside about the menu here is that it's one of those places where a side is not included, and you have to pay extra for this. However, it's definitely worth it because the fries were delicious! The veggie burger here is a quinoa burger which is very unique. It's super flavorful and the burgerfi special sauce adds a nice touch to the burger. It's on a wheat bun that's very good. The burger doesn't taste greasy and was cooked well. The small fry order is not small at all. They were extra generous with this order and my fries were overflowing. They were so good, crunchy, and taste fresh. The burger is great... moist, cooked well, good quality, plenty of cheese, and the burgerfi sauce is a nice touch. Sure, they may be a little small, but that's actually a good thing considering you're going to want to engorge yourself with the best onion rings of your life. The fries are good too, I like them plain. Haven't tried a milkshake yet, I never have enough room to spare. The atmosphere inside the restaurant keeps me coming back. She said it was next the first time I asked, saw another 5 orders go ahead of us and so I felt the need to ask again, only to be laughed at by all the girls at the counter. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt because you never know what people go through behind closed doors, but this was absurd and just very disrespectful. I'm not sure why but I was expecting more of a fast food joint but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was more along the Five Guys, Shake Shack lines.
