Where to start. Got their standard butgerfi burger, which according to the menu board comes with lettuce and tomato but they served it plain. I went to the bathroom and it was out of toilet paper. Told one of the employees and she said ok and then proceeded to go behind the register. The trash can was overflowing. The napkin dispenser was out of napkins. The soda machines were both out of coke. Overall, the place was a mess. Overpriced for what you're getting. Needless to say I'll never be back and would never recommend it to anyone. For references my total was $40+ for two burgers, one fries & onion ring combo and two fountain drinks (because I was generous to leave a 20% tip that definitely wasn't deserved). read more

I honestly do not understand what the hype was about. Finally decided to try one for myself, even after my co-worker warned me about her experience. Needless to say, she was right. Ordered Waygu burger with onion rings and fries. Burger was extremely small and not even close to what it looked like on the menu. Maybe it will taste good? No, it tasted really bland like they didn't season the meat or didn't put enough sauce. When there is a name like Waygu involved I expect a juicy tasty burger but this isn't the case here, just bland, dry and small! Only thing that impressed me here was the onion ring size... Had really nice crunchy texture which I did enjoy but again seems to lack flavors, that goes same for their fries. I had the CEO burger where I barely tasted the aoili and tomato. And the burger fi sauce i got on the side was really a concoction of mustard, ketchup, and Mayo with herbs that was just not hitting at all. I had the best burger here. I've been back maybe 3 times now and it's literally always a hit. They have a few branches spread around Maryland and some other states. I've had their cheese burger topped with bacon, grilled onions, pickles and their special sauce. The fries were pretty good as well. Their packaging is unique and efficient. Swung by on a Saturday night, right before the 8 PM rush of people came in. We ended up standing there and waiting thirty minutes for a takeout order of a chicken sandwich and a large fry. Ended up paying $15 for that meal, which we thought wasn't worth it after the wait. The fries themselves weren't that great, although there was a large portion--they desperately needed some help and were tolerable after being drenched in ketchup. We weren't the only ones standing around and waiting, as the girl in front of us was there longer than we were. Also saw two people go up because their orders had been messed up. My sister says she likes the onion rings here, but I don't know if I'd come back. It's in a prime-time location at The Avenue, and has aesthetic decor that their company site says is up-cycled and sustainable, but I was wondering about the eco-friendliness considering they use fake grass/plants. read more

If BurgerFi was anywhere other than The Avenue, it wouldn't stand a chance. But since they're right next to the movie theater, they're safe (I guess). For starters, the food is subpar at best. Burgers are $8+ a piece and that doesn't include a side or a drink. Guest are easily looking at spending around $15 for a burger, fries and a drink. That wouldn't be much of an issue if the burgers were great. My chicken sandwich was only seasoned with pepper, no cheese. Just chicken, lettuce, tomato and bbq sauce. Without the sauce the sandwich would've had no flavor. My daughter's burger was dripping with grease, which explains why the floors were so slippery. I can't say this is a place I'd return to. I'm giving them two stars, however, because the staff was pleasant enough. read more

It seems like the cooks arent familiar with the menu because I ordered a Juicy Lucy Burger and it comes with tomato relish, and that was missing from the burger. The other two people I was with had never visited so we made the journey here. Since I am pescatarian with vegan ways, I get so excited they have not only beef or chicken burgers but they have vegan and veggie burgers. *Just a heads up, this restaurant forsnt do meals, everything is separate so the price catches up to you fast, just FYI* They offer different types of beef burgers, a grilled chicken sandwich, crispy chicken, a veggie burger, beyond burger and a vegan burger!! Just in case you are wondering the buns are plant base, and they offer "green style" which is lettuce as your bun! For your sides fries or onion rings are your choices. They have several ways you can get your fries, or you can get a half fry half onion ring order. Then let's not forget the shakes or concretes instead of an ordinary drink...! They have several flavors of shakes from Oreo to red velvet. For concretes they offer key lime, red velvet, and one more I can't remember. They do offer hotdogs, chicken tenders, and a kid burger meal as well. My group ordered the family fries. / key lime shake (they don't offer that as a flavor for shakes only concretes but they made it work), oreo shake, a double beef burger, a green style grilled chicken sandwich, green styled vegan burger. Extras were asked for each burger and none of them came out correct. The grilled chicken was suppose to be green styled but it came with a bun. The green styled vegan burger looked terrible. The angus burger looked great but was missing toppings. The cashier has to learn to pay a bit more attention so it helps the kitchen get it correct. I would recommend them coming up with a way to get the sauces together. We had to wait 3 mins to get one bbq sauce and then 11 minutes for the honey mustard bbq since they didn't have any ready. But... no combos means everything is a separate charge so it becomes pricey quick. Our family of 4 paid over $50 for 2 kids meals, 2 burgers and a shared side. The single patty burgers are small and a big disappointing. Fries and onion rings were very good. I was immediately intrigued by the ingredients listed on the CEO burger, so I decided to give it a shot. I was certainly not expecting the highest quality for a $10 burger that has wagyu and truffle aioli, but I have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered for pickup, and when I arrived home and opened the bag, the burger bun was smooshed, and things just went downhill from there. The pictures make it look like you're getting a rather size-able burger, but it's rather puny, even for a smashed style patty. When I go to McDonald's and pay $1 for a McDouble, I don't expect it to look like the picture, but for a burger with premium ingredients, I'd expect an effort to be made. Even the regular cheeseburger that my girlfriend got was smaller than what the ad made it look like. You can taste that the quality of the beef is pretty high, but the burger itself was rather bland. There was very little truffle aioli, and very little bacon jam as well. Maybe it's supposed to be a small hint of each to pair lightly with the taste of the meat blend, but it was more like a bland blend of mediocrity. When I did hit a pocket of all 3 ingredients it was rather good, but that lasted all of one bite. Since we ordered for pickup, they stapled the bag shut, which completely killed our fries. Every burger joint knows not to close the bag because the moisture inside turns the fries soggy. The crispy fries that we did get were rather good, but the sogginess just killed them. The fries, unlike the burger patty, however, were well seasoned. I really wanted to try their spicy chicken sandwich, which looks absolutely delicious, but based on my experience with their premium burger, I sadly won't be returning. read more

This used to be Z-Burger (or its successor, I forgot the name) and thought it would be the same. Well it was disappointing. The portions are smaller. The onion rings and fries are nowhere near the tasty seasoned onion and fries of Z-burger. The sauces tasted bland and diluted. The CEO burgers were not as we had hoped: smaller and less tastier for a wagyu burger. Honestly, a Big Mac is better. I give it two stars for the location and for the nice look of the place. Aside from this (and I'm sure that will get fixed eventually) I really liked this place. The burgers were great and the customer service seemed really good. He returns home but our burgers were not what he ordered. I immediately get the receipt to call and the receipt doesn't even indicate what he asked to be put on our burgers. Unfortunately we do not love close to this restaurant so calling them was the only option. Explained the situation. No apology or sympathy. We've done two orders now after discovering BurgerFi and they are absolutely awesome. Great food, burgers (and bacon) were cooked to absolute perfection. I liked the boxes they came in to keep them from being messy. Fries were great. Sauce was tasty. Second time around we tried the milkshakes, nice thick shakes. Taste great. My family and I ordered the same burger except for my husband who requested chili on his. All of the burgers looked exactly the same so we thought they forgot the chili, they did not. The amount of chili looked as if they wiped the serving spoon on the bottom bun and called it chili topping. New to the area and never having heard of BurgerFi before we decided to try them out after a very disappointing experience at Red Lobster. When we first walked in there was a short line in front of us and several parties dining. Ordering and delivery of food was less than 10 minutes which I was more than satisfied with at 6:30 with a bit of a crowd. The wait on our desserts after we went up and did a second order was a little longer but again, not complaining. In fact, when I went up to the counter to check on the progress, the young man I spoke with was very kind and went to finish them up himself. There were no excuses, just hustle. The team seemed to work well together and I'm sure that's why they were pushing through the orders so quickly. Great job! Oh yeah, and the food was good too. ;) read more
