I usually have great experiences when I go to BurgerFi, so I was incredibly sad and disappointed during my last visit. I ordered the Ultimate Bacon Burger to be put in a bowl. What I received was a bowl with a single patty and a slice of cheese. There was no bacon and the additional patty was missing. Plus the grilled onions that I was charged for were not added. They did give me the grilled mushrooms, but that was it. And when I told the young lady my order was incorrect, she acted like fixing it would be Mission Impossible. The crazy thing is, she could habe simply explained to me when I ordered that I couldn't get it that way and allowed me the option of adding the additional protein without assuming I either didn't want to or could not afford the meal I requested. Very disappointed after paying $30 including delivery - now I know why they went bankrupt a while ago. I'm not sure why they reopened. I love when an establishment has a phone number listed and no one answered it and then it automatically hangs up. Fries are decent. Ordered the Wagyu burger but that's definitely not what they put in for me and not what I got. But I think I was pretty clear when ordering. He seemed to understand by nodding his head but the screen was broken so I couldn't verify what he was putting in for me. So all the other reviews about them getting orders wrong and the staff seeming disengaged seem to be spot on and they seem to be pretty consistent about it. Fries were warm but far from hot. My burger was almost cold, definitely not made to order as my cheese had already hardened. One patty shouldn't even be an option (reference picture-- Looks like a junior burger patty---I took top of bun off because it was too much bread for the patty). Asked for the burger sauce on the side and never got it. Paid $15 plus tax for my meal and drink (tip extra because everyone expects that now); could have gotten a freshly made burger and thicker patty for the same (or less) at a pub or full restaurant. BurgerFi is a favorite of mine because they serve BeyondMeat burgers. But we were feeling adventurous and decided to try some of their new items. Rodeo BBQ Chicken Sandwich - 9/10 So delicious! I just wish it had another squirt of bbq sauce. But the chicken quality is great (and I say this as a picky chicken eater). Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich- 8/10 Also, really good. It was just a little salty for my taste. Pumpkin Pie Custard - WAY TOO SWEET. I love they actually put a slice of pie in it but I think the caramel glaze was too much, the custard by itself is already pretty sweet. This service at this location can be iffy - they do get orders wrong and the staff can be a little withdrawn. My advice is to always double check your order before you leave and give yourself extra time in case they need to remake your order or the wait is long. read more

Truthfully, I've been sort of avoiding this place because of the poor reviews on Yelp. But I was craving a burger. The kind of craving that can't be satisfied at McDonald's or those type of low-level fast food places. I wanted a grab it with both hands, topped the way I wanted it, BURGER. And, gloriously, BurgerFi did NOT disappoint. Yeah, it was a little expensive. I mean $77 for four sandwiches, two orders of fries/onion rings, and a couple of FreeStyle Cokes seems a little extreme to me, and therefore I will not be back, but it was a great burger. We used the self-order kiosk because there didn't seem to be anyone at the counter. I regret doing that because my boyfriend and my mom spent quite a bit of time bickering about how to do it. My mom is terrified of the newfangled kiosks and self-checkouts and makes my boyfriend do all the ordering, even though she's the one who pays. I feel like having a BurgerFi worker taking our order would have been faster, and we wouldn't have ended up ordering all the items separately, instead of as combos. I had to roll away after I told them what I wanted because I couldn't handle watching two people snapping at each other, while neither one of them were doing it correctly. Then, as if all that wasn't annoying enough, they couldn't figure out how to use the FreeStyle Coke machine, and a fellow diner (a total stranger) came over to help us. All I wanted was one of the limited time holiday flavored sodas that the machine claimed to offer. What I got was a sickly sweet SUPER flat coke with cream syrup in it (because the machine is not wheelchair user friendly, I couldn't take charge of the situation myself). Do not recommend that. When I'm eating a big ass burger I need carbonation! So I had the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with grilled onions, FiSauce, and jalapenos (which were SO spicy). I would have liked to have had just a single patty, but we couldn't figure out how to remove a patty (the sandwich comes with two) on the kiosk. Don't get me wrong, I ate the whole thing, but lunch was the only thing I ate that day. I also got a side of onion rings. They were huge, and thus there were only 5, but they were fairly unremarkable in flavor. I preferred my mother's fries. My mother (doesn't eat beef. It's a whole thing, none of it is logical) so she ordered the Fi'ed Chicken Sandwich (All-Natural, Cage-Free Chicken Breast from Springer Mountain Farms, Organic Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce, Pickle Chips, Lettuce, Tomato). Personally, I don't need all these "cage free... organic" tags. I've yet to feel like any of those labels make for a better product, but you sure pay more for them. She said that she liked it; didn't offer me a bite so I cannot give my own opinion. She did go on and on about how much she loves chicken with mustard, and how she usually mixes mayo and mustard together when she has chicken at home, but honey mustard was also good. My boyfriend can never have just one sandwich, especially when it comes to burgers, so he had BBQ Rodeo Burger (Double Natural Angus Beef, Charred Jalapeños, Pepper Jack Cheese, Crispy Haystack Onions, Memphis Sweet BBQ) plus he added an onion ring and bacon AND Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger (Double Natural Angus Beef, Double American Cheese, Double Bacon) plus he added a fried egg. I don't know how the heck he ate a pound of beef, but he did. And he enjoyed it, as I suspected he would. I would like to explore their milkshakes, as they use custard, but they're like $8 and I was already feeling guilty for the price of the meal. I hate leaving bad reviews- but this was just so irritating. They gave my boyfriend the wrong order, then proceeded to claim that he never said no cheese. He did, as I have had to step in before and remind him to ask for no cheese. This time I didn't, because I heard him say it. He asked if he could get a different one made with no cheese this time, and after ten minutes he asks to speak to the manager due to the wait, who then comes out and uses Google translate to speak with my boyfriend about what happened. We appreciated that she did her best to assist us- but it was just a little inconvenient that she didn't speak English at a burger place. We just got my boyfriend a refund. Whole time it was extremely cold in there too- which might be nice on a sunny day, but it had snowed earlier today so it was a little uncomfortable. You order your food and they bring it to your table. All other condiments are self serve, including the drinks. The restaurant was a nice chill spot. You can eat inside or choose to sit outside. We came by for the $3 cheeseburger promo for National Cheeseburger Day. All we had to do was buy a Free Style beverage. Easy! I ordered mine with white cheddar and raw onions, yum. It was tender and smacking with flavor. They say it is Angus beef. It was delicious. I thought about asking for med-rare, but that would be a study in futility just looking at the staff making the food. It came out with 2 burgers, giving it height, a pleasant surprise. The bun was fresh and had the logo stamped on it. The only thing I did not care for was the chopped onions. They just don't stay put, so it was a fall and gather mission. My husband had the regular American cheese along with lettuce and tomato toppings. He really enjoyed it. These burgers had plenty of mouth feel, and every bite was enjoyed. We also split an order of onion rings, they are cooked to order. Piping hot, crisp, and were at least an inch tall. These were expensive, about $1/ring, and there were 5 in the container. The staff was courteous and helpful, could not have been nicer from the cashier to the servers. This was a lunch we totally enjoyed! Thin batter, light and crunchy! However, the service was subpar. They didn't have all the condiments available at the counter so when I requested for some things, they assured me they would bring it over but were never brought to us. They also ran out of things (napkins) and those were never refilled for others to use. With that, it didn't appear that they were understaffed as they had about 3-4 cooks in the back with 2-3 ppl bringing out food. Kids were off school today, so we wanted to go out for lunch. I like that they have outdoor seating (in the shade) and with AstroTurf. I ordered 2 kids meals with fries, 2 cheeseburgers, and a large "urban style" fries. You then get a number while they cook your food, and then the food gets brought to you. We got our food and the server realized that he had forgotten our chicken tenders. We got it in a few minutes. I started eating the fries and was wondering why they tasted like regular fries. Turns out they were regular fries and we hadn't gotten the kids fries. We went inside to notify the staff and they corrected the mistake (gave us the 2 kids fries amad also our large urban style fries). So they made things right, but was certainly quite a few mistakes. I got the "urban style" recommendation from a staff member, but I didn't like them and wouldn't order those again. Maybe I'll try Cajun seasoning next time. It is on a similar level to Shake Shake, but with more selections and toppings. They have two types of beef patties as well as chicken and veggie. The chicken was good, but not amazing - then again it is a burger place. Love the cheese and sauce selections. The store has a fresh look with nice outside tables available. Worth the visit if your in the area. It is also important to compliment their staff and the training they received. I've patronized other Burgerfi locations but this one was a huge let down. 1) The service was awful. We waited patiently for 10 minutes while the two cashiers stood with their backs to us. No acknowledgement, just engaged with one another in conversation as one took her time making a milkshake. After finishing that same woman turned and asked "what we wanted" and proceeded to tell us she "wasn't making milkshakes right now!" Despite us having sat and watched her make one. She seemed annoyed,gave no eye contact, no smile, and made us feel like a total nuisance. Had I not had two hungry kiddos in tow I would have left. 2) The restaurant was dirty. There was a good amount of activity in the dining room but several tables had trash on them and/or were in need of a wipe down. I used napkins to clean our table and some of the wipes I had in my bag for my son. 3) The cashier forgot our cups and after tossing them on the counter we found the drink machine was in desperate need of maintenance. 95% of the drinks were unavailable or pouring inconsistently. My kids don't drink soda and all the Hi-C was watery leaving only Coke, Diet Coke and Ginger ale as options. Had we known that we would've have paid for drinks. This is a two part review, as I made two trips here within a week. After perusing BurgerFi's Yelp page, I decided to go one Monday afternoon to treat myself to a tasty burger, onion rings and fries (Cry + Fry), and a chocolate shake (diet, who?!), lol... Anyways, it was a particularly busy day on The Avenue, with families and teens bustling around. Inside BurgerFi, there were customers sitting and eating, but the line wasn't long at all (seemingly). Apparently, the food is made to order, so you order your food, they give you a plastic number stand, and you find a table and wait for your them to bring your food, whether you dine in or take out. There was literally one family in front of me. I noticed behind the counter that there's was only the cashier/runner, one guy helping him to run and make shakes, and just one person in the back making the food. The cashier seemed a bit overwhelmed, and I can see why- he took orders, and as food came out, he walked the whole restaurant looking for the customers with the correct order number, leaving other customers at the counter to wait for him to come back. I wasn't sure if this was usual practice, but it seemed a little disorganized. Anyhoo, I finally got to the front of the line. I stayed safe and ordered the Burger Fi burger (double cheeseburger with special sauce and lettuce and tomato.) I also ordered the Cry + Fry (three onion rings and fries). I went the extra mile and added the Parmesan cheese and herbs for an extra buck. I topped it off with a Ghirardelli chocolate shake. My order came to a total of $23, plus change. A bit hefty for a burger and side and a shake, but it's supposed to be more upscale than the average fast food place, so it was expected. By this time, about 6-8 people were behind me and the workers seemed backed up. One guy came back from break and went to the back to help. Then the cashier went to the back to help! The guy that was the runner and shake maker took over taking orders. It was a lot to take in, lol. There weren't really any tables to sit at to wait, so waited near the line and started on my shake. It was a custard based shake, so the flavor was extra rich and chocolatey. The only thing I did not like about it was the sprinkles. There were way too many, but the shake itself was delicious. After about ten minutes or so, the cashier/runner/cook guy came out looking for my number. He went from the back of the restaurant to the front, searching. My number was in clear view, but as I said earlier, he was overwhelmed and in a hurry. He was doing his best, and it wasn't his fault. I took my food and left. I ended up eating in my car on The Ave. The Cry + Fries were really, really good. I'd say they were the star of the show. The onion rings were huge and seasoned lightly, but well. The fries were good as well. The burger, however was just okay (sad face). I don't know what I was expecting, but there wasn't anything that really stood out about it. The flavor and taste of a burger patty is what makes a burger. I didn't taste that. Just...patty. I want to really like this place, and I do really love the onion rings and the chocolate shakes. But if the star of the show isn't...starring, what's the point? With a little more organization and seasoned burgers, they *may* pull through. This location has seen at least three burger joints come and go. BurgerFi has to up it's game to compete with the burger bosses of this town! They missed all the sauces (except one) after confirming at the counter that it was in the bag by the person. Amazinggggg!!! Had the pleasure of visiting this BurgerFi location during their grand opening and grand it was!!! The location is perfectly nestled on a corner pot in the Avenue at White Marsh so you cannot miss it!! The staff was so pleasant and attentive from start to finish!!! While in line we were given a tour of the menu from the variety of burgers, to sides and desserts. Undecided but fully committed to wanting to try everything on the menu I went with the Conflicted Burger which matched my mood and was soooo appropriate. The burger comes with one angus beef patty and one veggie patty (yes, you read that right) that sits on the BurgerFi sauce and topped with white cheddar and american cheese, lettuce and tomato and then held together with a toasted brioche bun!!!! So much yumminess!!!! The beef was juicy and cooked perfectly and if you did not know any better you would have no idea the veggie burger was on there it was that good!!! So good I had to taste it by itself to know that is was real!!! My bestie ordered the BurgerFi Bacon Cheeseburger that was not only loaded with bacon, nom, nom, nom has two angus beef patties, double the american cheese!! Let's just say I know it was a hit!! She was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the burger!! Our sides included the Urban Fries, which are a must in my opinion!!! Fresh hand cut fries which parm and herbs then drizzled with a garlic aioli!!! Need I say more? We also had an order of Salt and Vinegar fries that were pretty spectacular as well!! The fries were hot on arrival and you could taste every ounce of freshness in each bite!! After all that we had no room for any kind of dessert so I will be back to enjoy one of their hand spun shakes, although they were passing out sundaes while we were there. This place is visually and aesthetically "extra" but it doesn't translate into the food as much as I'd hoped. Like...they have a brand to burn their logo into the bun. And the burgers come in little cardboard boxes (not clamshell style - a legit rectangular box). They have fake grass on their patio and fake bushes inside the store. It's a very weird attempt at a high-concept. But the burgers themselves? They are all right. They tasted good, but seemed like any other organic, grass-fed beef burger. Nothing to sneeze at, but not really as fancy as the aesthetics try to trick you into believing. The fries were good. My mom and I came to check out the grand opening today and was not disappointed! Staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and were very friendly throughout our whole visit. One of the staff members covering the floor gave us recommendations as we waited in line since if was our first time at a BurgerFi. We were both boring and ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with an extra side of BurgerFi sauce and large fries to share. My burger came out with the wrong topping but was given a new one with no issue and in a timely manner. It was totally understandable as we did have to repeat our order a few times because it was extremely loud inside with the large crowd. Both burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. The sauce reminds me of most burger establishments secret sauces but still yummy. I really enjoyed the toasted bun with the BurgerFi logo on it, it gave the burger a nice crunch. Fries were piping hot and crispy. Also want to say how much I loved the layout of this place! It is very modern and has both indoor and a patio style with fake grass outdoor seating. I like that the outdoor seating is covered so the sun isn't beating down on you while you're eating. Came here with my boyfriend for the grand opening and immediately upon walking up we saw how busy it was (which is always a good sign)! I absolutely LOVED their outdoor seating area with the fake grass. Perfect to bring pups with you. Let's get to the food though: we got the CEO, burger-fi burger, cry + fry, and a vanilla custard with sprinkles. The CEO, we both agreed was the best burger we've ever had! The tomato jam is really what makes it over the top. It's phenomenal! The burger-fi was delicious as well, the sauce on that was really tasty. We both loved the cry + fry. We were asked how everything was, my boyfriend said he wished the onion rings were crispier, well to our surprise we were brought one extra crispy onion ring to test out. It was SO good and we will definitely order it extra crispy next time. The vanilla custard was also the best ice cream we've had in a while. We both also loved the fi-lime fusion drink, it was fizzy, limey, not overly sweet, and really refreshing! Highly recommend. The atmosphere is super modern and casual. Ordered a BurgerFi cheeseburger and a regular size fry with Cajun seasoning. I believe the fry was about $4 or $5 dollars. I wasn't expecting a nice portion size but when I received my food I was greatly impressed! The burger was delicious. I came here on a Sunday and it was very busy. This place use to be a great burger spot at one point. Now the staff spends more time chatting that getting orders correct. It took the cashier over 5 minutes to put my order in the system and still put it in wrong. I still asked afterwards for him to let the cook know to add cheese and when I received my food there was no cheese. I had to bring my burger up and ask for cheese and they just threw it on cold. Not to mention the lady bagging the food had on no gloves and kept scratching her head. Lastly, my burger taste old like it was the the grill for a while.
