I always feel like i have to specify pre-pandemic or currently in pandemic when I do a review. We are still in the pandemic and things have started to open up for carry out or eat on patio. Burgerfi is a new experience for us. We've never been to burgerfi anywhere let alone this location in Myrtle Beach. The dining room was closed off but we did eat on the patio. They had the tables spread out and everyone was respectful of social distancing. No iced tea. Huge bummer. Food was amazing ! Cooked to order my CEO burger was delicious. So tender and great flavor. Fries were a little flimsy but good taste. Onion rings were great. Service was good. Bathrooms were clean and everything you need was just an "ask" away. Even though it was a bit pricy for burgers it was worth it and i would return. read more

I love this place. But wow, just wow. Walked in at 8:05pm with my family; they close at 9pm. Basically the entire restaurant was closed down; couldn't get ketchup or iced tea or no ice cream. The entire staff was acting as if it was an inconvenience for us to come & order food, a family of 5. It was 8:05pm not 8:59pm. By 8:35pm we were basically pushed out as they were full out cleaning, putting chairs up and mopping around our feet. I was just speechless; customer service is dead in America. First time at this location and was very disappointed. We ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and parmesan truffle fries. The burger tasted like it had been precooked and warmed up (overcooked and dry). The bacon was hard. The fries were not hot (more like limp and lukewarm). The mayonnaise concoction over the fries was overpowering. Had i known it was smothering the fries, I would have asked for it on the side. I had ordered the double bacon cheeseburger without cheese and it came to me with anything in it, not even the bacon. The burger itself tasted like any ordinary burger you'd get at McDonald's. When I first saw the name, I thought, of the Marine Corp motto..."Semper Fi!" ...and chuckled. I thought it was funny and actually was going to pass on by---thinking it would be just another burger joint. But curiousity killed the cat and I couldn't resist going in...to see the ridiculousness of the name. However, from the very first step into this "burger joint", I could sense serious business---just like meeting a platoon of US Marines. The interior was interesting, modern, and clean. The concrete floors reminded me of Chipotle's...but the lighting and ambiance was industrial and fresh to me. I ordered (these items have their special burgerfi names but i forgot) a kobe beef hot dog, cheeseburger, hamburger, veggie burger, and a family size fries plus complimentary water cups for me and my troops....which all came out to $35. I would have ordered three more vanilla milkshakes but their machine was out of order---and that would have boosted the total bill close to $50...which in my book is serious business for burgers for four. They had a super fountain with the LCD, choose your own drink multi-mixer like I've seen in Burger King. They also had table service to deliver your food which was a nice touch. Staff was smiling and friendly. None of these previously mentioned things would matter if the food was sub par---however, the food was commendable. The Kobe Dog was the super sleeper---i thought I was just going to get an overpriced hot dog---but this one had an excellent burst as you bit into it and the taste was more worthy of being a sausage than the derogatory "hot dog". The veggie burger was tasty but not all that filling as hoped for and probably was the weakest link. The fries were nothing short of impressive---tasted freshly cut and perfectly fried. I was originally going to rate this place a 4-star, but I tried to think of a similar faster food burger joint that I liked better, and I couldn't...hence I upgraded my rating to 5-star. I had heard BURGERFI is good but don't have one near us in Indianapolis. As it turns out, there is one in Myrtle Beach where we are vacationing. To be honest, a burger place is almost always at the bottom of my husband's choices for meals but he was willing to take me. It was FREAKING AWESOME! My husband LOVED it!!!! He tried "The CEO" and kicked himself that he only ordered a single instead of a double. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with bbq sauce and it was just...perfect. Perfectly cooked, perfect bacon, perfect meaty cheese. Just dang good! My daughter order the grilled chicken sandwich and said she could eat it everyday. We ordered a large onion rings and I have NEVER had such onion ring perfection EVER! Also, we got the bacon jalapeño ranch dipping sauce for the onion rings and when I went to get a drink refill, my daughter polished off the sauce and onion rings! My husband never eats fries but could not get enough of the Cajun seasoned fries. We left raving about how delicious everything was and talking about how many times we could return before leaving for home at the end of the week. I promised my husband we would stop there again before leaving town Friday (and we'll try the custard then). Overall, they just nailed everything. There wasn't anything we didn't love. We wish there was a BURGERFI in Indianapolis! The first Burger Fi we went to was in Raleigh NC. There we learned about the "secret" menu which has served us well. This location has provided a consistent Experience to the others we've been to. I like the single burger with no fi sauce. It's a bit too spicy for me. My daughter doesn't usually get a meal - instead she likes the secret menu "urban fries". We usually get one regular order of urban fries and it's enough for her meal and my husband and I to share. Hubby has had the veggie burger as well as a regular burger and has enjoyed both. Service is always friendly and prompt. Great place for a burger. Pricing is on the higher end but it's much better, and fresher, than any burger you'd get at a fast food chain. read more
