I went in today to get food and an Indian guy who I assumed to be a manager was talking about him being the owner loudly when I first came in. Later, when I went to order, I saw him putting his hand on a younger girl working upfront and she seemed to be pretty uncomfortable with the interaction. Last time I called about them leaving items out of my order & the manager wouldn't come to the phone. First time at a BurgerFi location! WOW the burger is juicey, combined with the juiciness of the tomato and the crunchiness of the lettuce it is a great burger experience. Flavor is there, the BurgerFi sauce is certainly a nice touch without being over bearing and bun is soft and fluffy. Fries are basically the same as Five Guys (which isn't a bad thing). I am usually a big fan of BurgerFi as it's a reliable spot with tasty food and good value for the food. Overall, this was an ok place and not as good as I remember. They only had self serve kiosks available which were convenient and the food came out in a timely manner. The hamburger was very good, juicy, flavorful, and decent sized. The bun could have been toasted a bit more and it was good but not exceptional. The fries were large, but were really disappointing especially that they were around $7 which is near ridiculous. I did order the herb and Parmesan fries since I've enjoyed them in the past, but these weren't crispy or that good. The ketchup saved them, but would not order again since not worth the price point. Overall, I would go elsewhere if I am hungry but if friends suggested to come here I would oblige and try again. read more

A decent burger you order from a machine which at the end asks for 15% or more of a tip even with absolutely zero human interaction. My burger was good and my wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich.We also ordered the onion ring/fry basket and elected to add Cajun seasoning which was very light for and extra charge. It contained 3 onion with a bunch of very soggy fries. Over all the taste was decent however extremely disappointed with the soggy fries. We did not have an enjoyable experience. We went as a family on a Monday that happened to be kids eat free night. The restaurant did not appear to be busy. We ordered from the kiosk as the front staff person was busy with other things. The restaurant was not clean - items strewn around the floor and most tables unwiped. The drink machines were splattered with orange and red beverage splashes. The trash cans were all full. We began to question our decision to eat at the restaurant but had already ordered. We then heard the front person tell us and others that the food would take 30 minutes. We were very disappointed as we had chosen BurgerFi as it would be a quick service but didn't complain. Then after 45 minutes we questioned if the food was going to come out. The food came out shortly after but they were out of onion rings. This was also a deciding factor on eating at the restaurant. We inquired what the issues were and they blamed short staff (4 workers were present) and that a different BurgerFi closed nearby and they were slammed with online orders. I'm not sure if this was all true - we didn't see any pickup orders come out and get picked up while we waited. Once we got our food it was just ok. One of the orders of fries was cold and we mentioned it and asked if we could get hot fries repeatedly and they didn't answer us. We took a refund for the onion rings that they were out of. The burger bowl was also inaccurate and had jalapeños in it - had to pick all of those out. We will no be returning and it was a complete disappointment. Mondays are kids eat free (well not really anymore). We go here a lot on Mondays and the food is great but since 2 weeks ago when ,we were there last, there is apparently a new manager and now instead of ordering a 9.99 meal you have to order everything separate (burger $10, fries $4.50 for a small, and drink (unsure of price) to get the free kids meal. Bottom line is that the burger alone is $10. What used to be a true kids eat free night and a cost effective $25 dinner for 4 just 2 weeks ago has turned into at LEAST a $40 dinner for the same thing just in the last 2 weeks. We can eat so many other places that offer true kids eat free rather than deceiving the public into thinking they are getting a deal when it is just as much to eat at chik fil a (yes we walked out and went to chik fil a for $34 including shakes which would have driven the price up another $11 here.) Very disappointed at the new management. We will not be back anytime soon unfortunately. Oh and the high school kids messing around in the back instead of helping the struggling customers lined up trying to use their less than user friendly self order system was awful too. Was not impressed with this place. We were on our way to Cary to visit breweries with our of town friends and stopped in for a burger. We found this place on Yelp because it said it had Craft beer. So we see only 3 taps & ask the girl behind the counter which are the craft beers. She doesn't know so gets the manager and he proceeds to tell us that the craft beers are Coors lite, Bold Rock Cider and some other beer. We inform him that Coors Lite & Ciders are NOT craft beers. He says he doesn't really know beers. Why on earth would you advertise that you have craft beers when you absolutely do not carry any. Then when we get our food one of the kids ordered grilled cheese w/fries and what we saw delivered was just a bag of fries. So we wait and wait thinking it's coming then finally go up to girls behind counter & ask where the grilled cheese is. They tell us it's in the bottom of the bag of fries. Ok we feel dumb but why would you hide the main entree. The managed claimed that the grilled cheese was suppose to be on top of the fries. Just thought the whole issue could have been avoided. We stopped in for lunch after running errands in Cary Crossroads and had a good experience. The line moved a little slow but the service was friendly. You can order at one of the kiosks too. We ordered a BurgerFi Cheeseburger (single patty), VegeFi Burger and urban style fries. They have draft beer and two options were IPAs (yay). I went with the DIPA from Brewery Bhavana. I'm glad that the girl who took our order was honest with us about the size of the fries because we almost ordered a large, she told us that a regular is enough to split between two people. The cheeseburger and fries were good but I didn't care for the veggie burger. BurgerFI is great if you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner option. read more

This was our first time at BurgerFi. The place was practically empty. We both ordered the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger. Let's say that the word ultimate should be stricken. Mine had no bacon what-so-ever (nor onions). I'm a fan of onion rings. Sure, these onion rings are rather large. However, there should have been a funeral service for my onion rings as they were cremated and very dark. To add insult to injury, I tried to ask for onion ring sauce but was told it would be an additional charge!?! Overall, customer service didn't seem or appear friendly (perhaps he had a bad day?). The fries had no flavor and weren't temperature hot fresh (bless their heart). 2 burgers, 2 fries/rings (may they Rest In Peace) and 2 drinks came to nearly $40.
