I got the cheeseburger (single) and fries. Burger is a smashburger with the smashed patty you would expect from a smash burger. Thin crispy edges with nice colour on it. Meat quality was just average though, not much better than any fast food joint. Bun was nice, but the burger was overly rich and one-note. Too much sauce too, IMO. Needed more pickles for acidity and some freshness with some veg or something to offset the heaviness of the burger. Admittedly this is personal preference. Normally this would be a 3/5 but since it arrived cold by no fault of their own, 4/5. If it was hot I think it would be above average. Fries - seasoned. I like my fries cooked a little longer though. Theirs are kind of pale. Nice cut on them, nice flavouring. A bit too salty though. 3/5 assuming they were hot and fresh. Sadly their restaurant is in a shady part of town (Chinatown). I have no interest in dodging drug addicts and constantly worrying my car will get broken into. This is probably the worst part of their business. If they relocate to a better area, I suspect they will find a lot more business too. Despite being in this area, their pricing is similar to places in much nicer parts of town. Overall, 3.5/5. Cant do half stars, so 3/5 it is. They are not 4/5 yet. Either quality needs to dramatically improve, prices lowered, or they move to a safer location.

The half off does not apply to upgraded sides, patties, or toppings. So you end up with a burger entree for $10-12, plus a drink for $4-10, depending on what you order. Free parking is available on Hemlock or other side streets, depending on the time. Out of the following burgers I've tried, here are my favourites from most to least: Bin 14 - Pre-Season Favourite Bin 11 - Wild Mushroom Bin 96 - The Bison Burger Bin 18 - The Dirty Bourbon Bin 47 - My Big Fat Greek Burger Bin 32 - Ginger Soy Tofu (swapped to beef) Bin 19 - The Big Dipper Bin 9 - Big Spenny I think that you can't go wrong with any of their burgers. The first time, the wagyu patty was a bit dry (Big Spenny) but it might have been a one-off as the Big Dipper was okay. The waiter also gave me a tip that you can swap the tofu patty for beef for free. For the drink, I just get the soft drink which has free refills. In total, it comes out to about $20 after tax and tip. On a Friday night, it is quite busy so the food takes quite awhile to arrive. On other nights, it is much quieter and the wait is reasonable. I would definitely come back - and I have already, twice in a week - solely for the 9 pm late night special. I would be open to trying the happy hour as well. However, for regular price, I might try something else.

Hubby ordered the bbq, bacon cheddar and mushroom burger. Both were fresh, slightly greasy. The good kind of greasy that tells you you're eating an outdoor-grilled burger. ;) The fries were plentiful and tasty while the wine cleared my palate for the next bite. We have been a few times and starting to make it our go to place. The server is very friendly and fast. The food is soo good! It actually feels real rather than like every other Sysco restaurant if you know what I mean. My favorite burger is the thai burger with peanut butter ~ sounds strange but sooo good. The yam wedges are the best. My husband got the chicken special which was great as well. We treated ourselves to milk shakes - apple pie and lemon poppy seed and they were great! The apple pie is packed with flavor and actually tastes like an apple pie slice. I loved my lemon poppy special though. Very refreshing.

There's a full bar service with a bar tender, and a couple waitresses. We sat down with no wait time, and the server brought the menu right away. The crispy chicken was a little over fried, but the poutine and cheese made up for it. The truffle mushroom burger was very yummy with big portions. They are also flexible to customize the orders, with extra toppings, and switch it up for kids menu. Our waitress was also very patient with us and took down all of our customizations, and got them right. If you are looking for a nice local burger place with friendly staff, this is the place to be!
