So I went back. I was hungry, don't judge. It had been a year since I was at this BK and I was tired and went inside. It was about 830 at night and to be honest, i thought the place was abandoned. Interior lights on, 2 cars in the lot, BK signage black, parking lot lights, black. With the exception of the neon stripes on the roof, there weren't many indicators that it was open...VFW highway was busy as it always was and the other fast food joints were hopping. Leading me to wonder - does this franchise even want customers? Inside? The place was immaculate and eerily quiet except for the TV sets. The staff was polite, food was fine...:but being the sole diner on a weekday night? Odd. 3 stars because the staff was an improvement over the drive Thru train wreck last year. Come on BK, let them know you're open! read more

This place is horrible, they never get the orders right and the meat is always uncooked. They really need a new manager because that little lady the so called manager is very unpleasant to deal with and she never apologies for mistakes made in people's food this is unacceptable and i will never go there anymore and i will tell my friends and family to do the same This place sucks if you are a minority stay the f away from Giardinhos restaurant in Abington! read more

1:40 PM, Thursday, 6-26-25. To the very polite and highly efficient drive thru rep I greatly appreciate your kindness and tier 1 customer service. You are awesome! read more

Place seems to be OK get your food pretty quick people behind the counter and the takeout window are friendly only problem I have is the men's bathroom is always messy and no lock on the door. It's been like that for a while and it shouldn't be like that. read more

I used to, I reiterate used to love to go with my kids and occasionally with my husband . It was a casual go to place! I loved the chicken sandwich! I have not gone in 5 years ! I have not entered this place for that long! I may use the drive thru a bit more! The sandwich I loved used to be put together week, wrapped well ! Now it's cold, a terrible job wrapped and no lettuce, tomato or mayo. Fries are very salty. It takes forever to get your meal. Dirty tables, bathroom and hard to find condiments. Maybe someone from McDonald's should make the sandwich! Oh and really try to have hot food not cool food. read more

I keep returning to this location because it's convenient. The food is good again! The premise too is clean. Hope it continues.

Zero stars if I could. do not stop keep driving... Make sure u don't see rat droppings in your food.. place is disgusting and run down and the workers don't care read more

Burger King - Fast Food Near Me - West Roxbury, Massachusetts

See all

Have been stopping in here often with my son after our days out at Toys R Us / Ocean State... I let him go in & sit down - I find he will eat better if sitting then in the car! The help is usally super nice here & everytime I come there is someone else yelling at them & returning stuff... And they always remain nice! The place is always clean enough - I usually have to clean the tables & the soda machine is usually busted - but hey its Burger King I dont expect Greatness! read more

Burger King - Fast Food Near Me - West Roxbury, Massachusetts

we showed up on the later side so it did take a little while but they did what they could with who was on staff!

Burger King used to be the best chain fast food spot on VFW Parkway before the nearby McDonald's got all swankified. Regardless, this place is generally always clean, doesn't have homeless people, and they will really let you have it your way. I always found the quality here to be consistent. The prices weren't as obscene as some of the BK's in more urban areas and there aren't flies all over the place from spilled soda. I used to order Whoppers with extra EVERYTHING and they wouldn't give me any crap for it (in a good way, meaning they just put everything on there). I just got a massive sandwich! Like any BK, the chicken nugget-related products suck, but everything else is good. read more

On Saturday, 21December 2019, at about 2pm, I ordered 2 Whoppers. Got Food Poisoning from the Whoppers. Sanitary procedures are not being followed. The employees are definitely doing one or more things wrong. I recovered from the Food Poisoning about 5 days later. I do not recommend this Burger King. I recommend the Boston Board of health send an investigator there. read more

What to say about this Burger King? I find it funny how this place seems to never be busy however every time I go I have to park my vehicle to wait for my food to be brought to me. The worst part of all of it is the employees here can't figure out that a number 13 is chicken fries not a chicken Sandwhich. I can't believe how inept the people who work here are and the constant inability to package an order properly.Tried calling the place to speak with a manager to be met with an endless ringing telephone. This place has really let me down again. read more

I like to order from this Burger King when I order on grub hub. Food is decent priced and easily delivered within about forty five minutes. I usually just microwave it for a minute after it arrived and it's fine. The only gripe I ever have is when there is four strips of bacon on the bacon king I order. I worked for Burger King for four years, and the bacon king should always come with six strips of bacon, along with the two Pattie's four pieces of cheese, mayo and ketchup. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would recommend this Burger King for delivery. read more

Awful just awful! Ever since the last manager (who was brought in to shape this place up) left the service and the food are back to being subpar. Wrong orders, sloppy presentation, minimal lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc and the phone seems to be out of order. This is why they rarely have a line. read more

I have been a long time customer of this Burger King. For decades I have been going there. It must be under new management now because well the frying oil is now dirty. Been like that for some months. Every time I go back to try it again the fried food is still terrible. The frying oil is dirty and they do not clean it. The premises itself also looks run down. I will cease going to this Burger King for a year or so and then I'll come back again to see if things are better. As of now don't go there. read more

Living in Westwood, this is one of the two Burger King fast food restaurants in my area. This one has lots of advantages and the other one (further down the highway on the Westwood / Norwood border) also has some advantages. But, overall I think this one is better. Anyway, this Burger King location has recently been remodeled into the upgrade Burger King introduced, and looks very new, clean, and one hundred times better than the other locations. The prices here also are lower than the other location, and the drive thru barely ever has a line. Staff are always friendly, and orders are usually correct. Food is not the best (fast food is never good in large amounts....), but for fast food, tasty and never bad. 5 stars for the West Roxbury location. read more

I don't mind this BK. They kinda suck sometimes, but usually it's okay when I am passing through around 3pm M-F. I don't go super often, but maybe once every couple weeks. 1 thing though is that when they have specials, they don't always ring in. Today I went through for a 25 cent coffee and they charged me the whole amount! Oh well... read more

Don't go through the drive-thru, the manager made me wait for literally 5 or so minutes for the burger & fries that completed my order. Even dining inside, it seems like the place is understaffed and orders take a longer time to fulfill. If there were many orders, I'd understand, but every time that I've ate there, there were only 1 or 2 other customers besides myself. The place has a lot of cold air, so if you're susceptible to the cold, bring something to wear when you're eating inside. You'll have to ask for napkins as those are handed out to you. read more

Pretty lousy even for a BK. It is sad that the best thing was the super cool computerized soda machine. We went in the middle of the afternoon and the Drive Thru was absolutely packed. We ate inside, service was super slow even-though there were only a couple of people in line. My my fish sandwich was good my companion's burgers tasted awful.. the napkin holders in the lobby were empty. I would skip this place time and go to Long John Silvers a couple fo doors down read more

The food is good here compared to other Burger Kings if you are willing to accept randomness. The odds of them getting your order right are pretty slim. If the drive through line at the adjacent Taco Bell was shorter, I'd write this place off for good. read more

Today i told them i was allergic to mayo and they put it on there.. not regular but double mayo.. almost like on purpose .. also when i walked in the store to fix it.. (i wore a mask and gloves) they yelled at me and wouldnt social distance..: not to mention AS I LOOKED AT THE BACK WITH THE STAFF COOKING NOBODY HAD A MASK ON..: this place should be reported and fined. read more

Joanna who works drive thru is the only bright spot for this bk. She clearly works hard and is always kind. This bk still sucks but she should get a raise. They never open in time unless she's working. Today 10/14/2019 I went inside and the woman preparing the food had her hair out with net on. A child was in the food preparation area touching everything. This place needs to go out of business. It's so gross and they don't follow any sanitary precautions read more

I wish yelp had 1/2 stars cause I'd give this place 2 and 1/2. The food is always good, but the times I do come here, I wait a very long time to get the food from the drive thru. And usually, it's not ever busy. I would say my average wait in the drive thru is a good 10 minutes and that's with maybe 1 or 2 cars in front of me. I notice it's very slow when a particular female manager is working. When it's the guy manager, things do run great. The employees are friendly though! read more

Just stopped at this BK (or any BK) for the first time in maybe five years. Ordered a whopper junior, no pickles. My first clue should have been when the employee was hanging out the window with my special order as I turned the corner. I think I got the order of the person from ten minutes before who ordered extra pickles and didn't pick it up, since it was ice cold and full of pickles. I knew there was a reason I haven't been there in five years, and with this kind of service, *they* won't be here in five years. read more

I love BK and of all the BK's in the world this one sucks the big one worse than any other. Every time I ago lately there is a problem. Today my bun was rock solid with a big chunk missing. 1 bite and into the thing and it was into the trash. Don't bother with a special order either because the miserable employees aren't going out of their way to do anything. And don't expect a "your welcome" when you say thank you at the window. Just expect the window to slam in your face. BK just close down and let Wendys in! read more

Again they got it wrong!! Drive thru- got food and went home... wrong sandwich!! They only make 2 types of sandwiches, beef and chicken.. ordered a whopper with BEEF and I got a Fing chicken sandwich!! read more

Disgusting. Just picked up an order from drive-thru. I saw the woman at the window collecting money from the car in front of me and giving them their change (they paid in cash), and then I drove up and saw the same person, no gloves/handwashing, walk over to the food counter and begin to pack my (and several other people's fries). Disgusting to not be wearing gloves/washing hands in these pandemic times and be handling other people's food. When I mentioned this at the window, her response was "well you should be wearing a mask". OK, maybe I should have been - but I was not inside the restaurant, and I was separated from the window with a plexi-glass so I was not a risk to anyone. Her on the other hand was handling people's food. Disgusting. I am not going to be able to eat this food, straight to the trash. Not worth getting sick, so I guess I am out my money. Tried calling the place a bunch of times, no answer. I would steer clear of this place if I were you, unless you wanted a little virus along with your fries. (West Roxbury location). read more

Never gets order right. You will always be missing at least one item you ordered. Rude employees. One employee sighed and gave me a hard time when I told her she forgot an extra whopper. read more

Nasty LOUSY Worthless and abusive service. Night shift supervisor of ethnic descent is aggressively rude, confrontational, lazy and careless. She is Racially DISCRIMINATORY!!! Food is warm but you have to ask for fresh and in return they become nasty. She shuts the window at drive up abruptly as I ask for BBQ sauce. Since when should paying and loyal customers be subjected to abusive behavior? Exactly why you should avoid at all costs otherwise your asking for trouble. Do the wise thing mc Donald's next door, Chick fil A thrives on retaining customers and even KFC is Bette. I should not be discouraged from visiting because of a moody supervisor who throws sauce on the ground as if Im an animal. She even insists I back up with my car to collect bbq sauces. She lies in my face that she's by herself . WRONG as soon as I enter to collect sauce there are other employees helping. She is lazy not wanting to admit she slammed window and refused to get me bbq sauce making me come in person or backing my car up which is dangerous and makes no sense. Don't jeopardize customers safety vs lazy behavior. Avoid and do so wisely BEwARE going in at night. Save your self the hassle and grief. Moving forward I will proudly support competition that exists across the street! read more

Probably the worst fast food restaurant I ever went to. The first sandwich was a disaster, the second one (gently replaced by the staff) was even worst. It is a shame that quality can't be consistent across the chain. Will return to McDonalds. Will never go back. read more
