Worst sub ever! Spend $12+ on a medium size sub. Ordered Korean BBQ, tasted nothing different than Philly steak. No veggies or cold slaw or cilantro as advertised. Bread is not toasted either. Eating this makes me feel homeless....

Good sub. I had the Italian, hubby ordered the steak sandwich. Bathroom was clean. Friendly service.

The sandwiches were crap and they didn't get the order correct which is sad, it was a place I wanted to eat while visiting.

Yes, does remind me of places in Italy, where qualityof ingredients is paramount, bread important, etc. It's a fast paced place, and the line moves quickly... they have it down. I wanted to love fall in love with it, but have to say, the two I tried did not blow me away. I liked LA SUMMER Proscuitto, Mozzerella, Tomato, Basil better than their top selling FAVOLOSA made with salame toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream, and spicy eggplant. Think next time I will try the VENICE BEACH Turkey, tomato, mozzarella. The sandwiches are huge, more like 2 sandwiches, so pricing is fine. RECOMMENDED

I thought everything was quite balanced. The sandwich was about $21. Which I thought was reasonable because it was big enough to feed two people. There werent much of a wait when I was there, so service was quick. You order at the counter and they make your sandwich. Just tell them what you want and Bada Bing, Bada boom: you got your sandwich in a couple of minutes. They have seating inside and out. It was a nice day so my gf and I decided to do a picnic outside on the grass at the Boston Common. Nothing like enjoying a nice sandwich and watching all the sketchy weirdos walking around.

Unfortunately, we had to order through Uber Eats for delivery, so the food wasn't as hot as it would've been fresh, but even with that, my coworkers and I still enjoyed everything. The mac and cheese with chicken bowl was really good! The cheese was just right not too much or too little and the chicken had great flavor. Definitely one of my favorites and something I'd order again. I also tried the sweet chili chicken fries and the Beantown chopped cheese sandwich. The flavors were solid overall, and even after delivery the food still held up pretty well. Next time I'd love to visit in person and try it fresh because I'm sure it would be even better. Definitely worth checking out!

I arrived to the shop at 11:05am and they were open. But it's definitely not the end of the world! I really wanted to try their chicken Caesar wrap. It's been on our minds since Tuesday lol FOOD - Chicken Caesar Wrap is 11/10! I'm not even exaggerating it. Please come and try it for yourself. Lettuce tasted fresh, the right amount of chicken and Parmesan cheese and croutons, nicely wrap in a tortilla wrap, and the RIGHT AMOUTH OF DRESSING/Sauce. I will definitely come back like every other week lol Chicken Buffalo ranch wrap was also good but lacked sauce. Next time I will definitely ask for more sauce. Chicken tender dinner 3pc for $10 with fries is definitely a deal. A deal because their tenders are the right size and fried perfectly . Only down fall is, it does not come with sauce. It's $.75 or $1 for sauce. I believe it should come with one sauce per order. Just my opinion. Strawberry tres leches was mid per wifey. I'll get her the original plain one next time to see how it is. Overall, great customer service when you order in person. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Their wraps are very good. I will come back to try the other 2-3. Glad I finally decided to come and check this place out.

I enjoy getting their cold cut banh mi with extra butter and pate! I like that their baguettes are not too thick and are quite flaky. The bread to filling ratio is perfect each bite. Every time I visit, I always get a cold cut banh mi, nem, and sugarcane juice or an iced coffee. Super quick service. The tall handsome guy at the register is always cool as hell! We also get jerky and nem with the pepper pretty frequently. Nice snack when you got class or work. I've gone out and tried so many other people's favorites because they wanted to hate on BaLe, and honest opinion lol, those other places don't even come close. Case in point--the turf bagel. I love it so much that sometimes it's hard for me to order anything else. Drinks are a mixed bag for me. Their matcha (hot or iced) is solid, but I always need to sweeten it. The limeade was too bitter for my taste, and the rickey-style drink didn't quite hit my sweetness preference either. Chai (both hot and iced) is nice, but definitely add vanilla. Next on my list to try? The grilled cheese. I've been coming here for years, and the space is not big, but when it gets packed -- good luck. There are barstools facing the window and smaller tables throughout, but navigating the space can be tricky, so I wouldn't call it fully accessible. Still, the atmosphere makes up for a lot--it's got that community café element that I personally love.
