This was my "Go To" Burger King when I'm in the Suffolk area... The restaurant is always clean, the food always comes out good... My issue on my recent visit was that I decided to eat in the restaurant. I went to the counter to ask for a dipping sauce. A lady, maybe a manager began berating me from the back. She said "He already has one, what does he need another one for?" She was actually angry that I was getting an extra dipping sauce. It was so ridiculous that I was waiting for cameras to come out because I thought I was being pranked. Horrific customer experience. Shocked me that I was treated that way! Burger King 2925 Bridge Rd.Suffolk,VA 23435 (757)483-0317 Wednesday, January 21, 2026 3:40p.m. I (70yr.old), daughter(41yr.old) and granddaughter (15 yr.old), went in the establishment for an early dinner. Establishment was decorated in valentines decorations., very nice. A special needs man at the counter waited on us and every couple minutes the manager that was in the office.(female.) kept screaming at top of her lungs at the special needs man at the counter. I don't know what the female manager had a problem with, but she continued to scream at him. I noticed that his pants were unzipped so I whispered to him to let him know which he corrected himself. The lady manager came out of her office and still continued to scream at all the employees and took her hands and beat on the metal tables and continue to scream at the employees. My daughter came up to the counter and asked for some napkins, and she screamed at my daughter that they would be put on the tray when we got our order., my daughter let her know that it was to wipe the table down where we were going to sit because all the tables were dirty. We continue to sit down and wait for our meal, while she kept screaming at the top of her lungs at all the employees and pounding on the metal tables behind the counter. My daughter went up and received our food.. my granddaughter needed a packet of ranch so I went up to the counter, the manager ignored me while I was waiting to ask for it, finally the special needs man asked me what I needed, and I told him a package of ranch, than the manager started screaming at me. The manager said to me, they don't just hand those out , that I already got one and they charge $.27 for extra packets of ranch. I told her that it was for my granddaughters chicken tenders and she didn't seem to care one bit In fact she gave me a nasty look. My DAUGHTER ordered jalapeño bites and the first packet of ranch was for her. My granddaughter needed a packet of ranch for her chicken tenders. We spent good money in there to have a decent enjoyable dinner. It was not enjoyable at all with all the screaming and pounding on the metal tables. This manager is very totally unprofessional the way she acts towards her employees and the CUSTOMERS! I have never been treated like that before. Therefore we will not be going back.!!! I also tried to call the corporate number on the receipt and it is not a working number.. I have tried to get the corporate's number and nobody seems to have it. I think this is bad business on Burger King's part.. they should have a telephone number they can review all their complaints and reviews. read more

Decided to try on a whim. In general I avoid BK because they are usually so slow and inconsistent with their food quality but this location was different. I was greeted immediately upon entering and the cashier was pleasant and patient as my daughter debated on chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger. She got the cheeseburger plain, I ordered the whopper Jr combo and it was good. Fries were not hot but not cold either, burger neatly made and drink station was clean. i stopped by at burger king not knowing they closed in 7 minutes, yet they still took my order the older gentleman who helped me was so genuinely kind. i wish i got his name, i tried to tip him but he was too humble. they made my order fresh and it was quick. every time i come to this burger king everyone is so nice. please tell the older man who was working friday night on the 23rd that he's so sweet and made my night! read more

I pulled up to the drive thru and ordered one item. I then asked the person taking my order if they were on the lunch menu, as I wasn't aware of what time the menu changed. I had to clear my throat a little bit in order to speak because I had lost my voice the previous day. So when I asked that, my voice cracked a little and I apologized and asked again. This person then came back to me with such a vicious attitude telling me "You don't need to talk to me that way" and snarled again with, "WE ARE ON LUNCH!!" I caps that because that is the way they talked to me. I said I will be up to the window to speak to your manager. I pull up in tears, it's been a long week and I couldn't believe someone would verbally attack me like this. My 10 year old daughter was sitting next to me in shock too. I explained what happened and this woman didn't even care. She just proceeded to what do you want to order.. I am sitting in the window bawling and you give me attitude too.. She then snapped back with no care in the world that she didn't have her headset turned on so she doesn't know what was said. Why am I sitting in your window, you can clearly see that I am brought to tears by the situation, but you don't care. She then gave me a total for my order and I told her I am not paying for these cinnamon minis and she should be ashamed of herself for allowing her employees to treat people that way. I am not a mean person, I am super easy to deal with and I wasn't rude in the slightest via intercom. So this "manager" rolled her eyes at me as I was trying to hand her cash and said just take it. Of course we couldn't even eat them because they were so dry and hard, which they obviously did ON PURPOSE. This place is trash and the last stop before I was at my destination. I am still in disbelief that you allow such behavior. I don't have much of it and I am blessed when I have a few extra bucks.. But not at the expense of my daughter seeing her mother brought to absolute tears due to reckless behavior and people who are so unhappy with themselves that they have to break other people down. Went to this particular location two times and both times our order was completely wrong. The fries were oily as if they have been sitting in oil for a while. I don't know how hard it is to tell the difference between a single whopper and a double whopper? Will never go to this location again. And do not recommend it to anyone else. I have never been a fan of Burger King but this particular location has had its share of problems. I have been there in the past and they were particularly slow. They were always getting the order wrong in the drive thru. I tend to believe the employees there are very transient and there isn't a lot of ownership or loyalty to the company there. You don't even see old timers sitting in there getting their morning coffee and read the paper. As for location, it always just seemed out of place there on the corner. I imagine that one day, all of the retail will continue North on Highway 17 until it connects to Eagle Harbor. Moreover, I just don't care for Burger King food choices. If I am going to get some greasy fast food, there are other places I would rather be. Keep driving my friend. read more

This location charges much higher than other locations nearby and their customer service is awful! Got the biggest stink face when I inquired about the $1.50 increase in price for the same breakfast I've been getting at the Western Branch location. The drive thru attendant said there was nothing I can do - unfortunately this was my only choice since I was running late so I had to pay the higher cost. According to headquarters, the local franchise sets the price. The customer service needs much improvement and this will be the last time I ever go to this location. read more

***COVID BEWARE***I am a frontline worker and was shocked to find that this Location does NOT WEAR MASKS PROPERLY. Person bagging food had mask down near her chin, sniffing as she put fries in people's bags. I saw this after I paid, and was stunned so drove away after they handed me the food. Called the manager, she didn't care and didn't think I deserved a refund, said I had to prove I didn't just eat the food and was making it all up! National Burger King line said the same thing so it appears BURGER KING DOES NOT CARE ABOUT COVID. Two days in a row I have visited the Burger King on Bridge Road and I have felt both times as if I were bothering them. God forbid I forget to tell you I have a coupon at the speaker. Not a person inside or in the line but making the gentleman work who has glasses (older than most people who work there) and was working on 10/29/19 pm makes me a terrible inconvenience. 10/30/19. Couldn't see because I ended up leaving. They had something on their menu-HUGE DISPLAY-that I asked for. Apparently they are out of that item. I told her it is still on the menu. She said they are just out of it right now. I told her that I misunderstood what she said. No apology, no acknowledging the communication problem, she just moved on. I left and told her I was sorry I seemed to be bothering her. I wasn't mad, just really caught off guard. She said 'have a nice day'. Again, no one in the restaurant, no one inside. Been going there a few years and have never experienced rude people, now two days in a row. Well done, BK. read more
