This particular BK on pyramid highway is the pure shits in customer service. First someone comes to my door and asks me to go through drive through as I was parked and just getting ready to go inside. They're supposedly cleaning the lobby yet as I go through the drive through there's people in the lobby. I get to the speaker box by the menu and some kid is on there asking what I want and I ask him to hold on a second. I have my grandkids with me and I'm trying to find out what they want to eat. The voice again comes over the speaker and again asks what can I get for you with just a shitty attitude. Again I said hold on a second this time louder for him to hear and he comes back on the speaker and says WHATEVER with even a shittier attitude so I forget the order and just drive through and when I get to the window a middle aged female asks me can I get you something to eat with a pissed off voice and I replied hell no and who's the punk who says whatever over the speaker. Then this 16 or so year old kids tells me that I had attitude with him as he stands behind this rude female. I told him I asked you twice to hold on and he started raising his voice saying no you didn't at that point I told him he was just a disrespectful little punk and still standing behind the female saying you can leave now and waving. The female not once told him to stop or go do something else or try to repair the damage just started closing the window. I have 100.00 dollars worth of coupons given as gifts that I will never use at any of the BK's period. I'll shred them before going to BK again. This is the only way to say my piece cause they don't answer the phones was trying to talk to district manager but 3 of the local BK's didn't answer the phone. It generally takes a lot to get me pissed off. But this disrespectful kid did it very quickly and hopefully someone in the BK chain sees this review and puts a stop to this nonsense I gave a 1 star cause I had to and from some of the other reviews this place needs to be cleaned out and start over read more

I am now going after anyone trying to kill me with overt salt. I went to this BK a week ago. Ordered the value onion rings. Ate one, turned around and took them back. The replacemants were nary better. Yesterday, same deal. Food so salty one cannot eat it is criminal. On an 8 Hour shift, I was only given one 10-minute break throughout the entire day. As a former employee, I can say that this Burger King is truly the worst in the Reno/Sparks area. Behind the counter, Management has a huge favoritism problem and only cares about their drive-thru times-which is why your food is always wrong and they tell you to park in the front. They don't care about the customer nor the quality of their food. Whoppers will sit on the hot plate for two hours before being served in order to avoid wasted or voided food. The only good manager was Pepe, who last I heard transferred to a new location. However, the General Manager, Javier, treated me with nothing but disrespect. As a new employee, I was constantly blamed for any customer complaints or take-backs...Instead of the General Manager who took fast times into more consideration than customer satisfaction. May I add that the General Manager can't properly speak English and the three other managers are completely unqualified. It's no wonder that every time I go back to this place there's a new rotation of employees because everyone quits within 3 weeks of working there. This place is truly disgusting and awful to both work and dine at. Please, do yourself a favor and go to the McDonalds right across the street. read more

We got a sheet of coupons in the mail so we thought we would give Burger King a try. We had a whopper meal for two, two whoppers, two small Fries and two small drinks. The food did not disappoint. The Veggies were fresh and the burger was very tasty. The fries were still hot by the time we got them home. What the heck, guess I should've read the reviews first. There was no one in line in the drive-through and no one in the inside, I ordered a whopper Junior with cheese meal. Heavy on the pickle. It took for ever to get my sandwich and fries, I drove away and headed home. The fries were very hot and I was very happy for that. If my sandwich was just done, you would think the cheese would be melted and everything would be hot. No, my whopper Junior with cheese was cold as heck and there was no pickle. This girl does not eat a cheeseburger without pickles. I was already stuck in traffic and was not able to turn around, it was so unsatisfying so cold , and I wish I would've gone to McDonald's. I rarely eat a lot of fast food, and this is my treat when I go get my nails done, and wow. I used to work at Burger King when I was a teenager and if we would've turned out cold burgers, we would've been fired. I ended up throwing half of it out the window as it was so cold and no pickles, cry cry cry. Lol. She even repeated my order twice, and even out the window, and there were no customers. I have liked their chicken sandwiches when my husband picked them up and I do like their new fries which were hot. Of coarse I will give them another chance as it is close by. Just tried going through drive up. Recording said closed. Sign provided days/hours applications were being accepted but no times shown for when drive-thru is open. No one appeared to be inside. Dining room sign said closed for inside dining but no hours posted anywhere either. Nevada fully opened on 6/1, no explanation as to why inside still closed. Went online to check hours. Yelp shows it open till 11pm, another 45 minutes. Another reviewer ran into same problem with drive thru being closed when it should be open. Poor reflection on owners/management. No line in drive-thru or inside. They took forever to take my order. Why? You were standing right there talking to coworkers laughing about who was going to take it.. I had chicken fries and they were over cooked while my fries were undercooked. They had boxed my order and left it in the hot box area for several minutes while continuing to talk. This is still the best Burger King in the Reno/Sparks area. Pepe is mainly to thank for that. He goes above and beyond to give customers a friendly greeting and make sure every experience is an excellent one. If Pepe is working, order with confidence. Brenda, however, is another story entirely. Four or five months ago, she was a trainee and is now apparently in the manager training program. She can't seem to fill up an ice cream cup to save her life, she's stingy as all hell with the Zesty sauce, and she ignores customers who attempt to get her attention. I'm not saying she's a bad person, she just has a lot to learn about fast food. Maybe she should look to Pepe as an example of how to do this job. I'd give Pepe an 8 out of 5 if I could. I'd give Brenda 1 out of 5, because she does manage to hand me food and return change. She seems plenty intelligent and capable, but not too friendly or generous. I also tried the Burger King Chicken Fry Rings and they're pretty good. The Angriest Whopper is fantastic. Both are on sale for a limited time, so don't hesitate to try them out. That said, not much beats the 2 for $5 menu. My family has become avid fans of the Extra Long Fish Sandwich and the Extra Long Philly Burger. You can't beat the value for the price. We decided to give them one more chance, after 3 bad experiences, one on fathers day. We tried the impossible 2 for 10 and it looked like it had been thrown, it was cold and had way too many pickles. We gave them another chance today. Had to talk through the speaker cuz the dining area is closed. My husband gave them specifics, "make sure it's off the grill, hot and fresh. And make sure we have napkins and ketchup. He repeated 3X's. Got our food and it was cold, stingy serving of fries and Dr Pepper tasted like carbonated water and no napkins or ketchup. The windows were nasty too. So they're touching those and our food! Yuck! We got a refund and went to Bully's, not much better. Shouldn't even be one star. Ordered 3 milk shakes. Mini no whip cream. Regular vanilla and Oreo with whip cream. After 10 min sitting at window hands me mini with whip. Told them no. Then was told to wait in front, problem with milkshake machine. Waited and waited. Girl came out mini no whip. Vanilla and chocolate no whip. Yelp really needs to have an option for zero stars. I just attempted to go through the drive thru. Nobody came on the intercom even after I repeated called out. I drove up to the window, nobody came to the window even after I honked. I might have been concerned that something happened to employee(s) but this has happened at this location before. The worst Burger King known to man. We haven't been here for months after the time that all the employees were playing on the roof and it looked like they had a food fight in the kitchen. Yes we walked out. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Bad mistake. We sat in the drive through for 20 minutes with only 2 cars in line. We finally placed our order and made it through. We got home and found the order was wrong again. Ordered a Texas whopper, impossible whopper a medium and large onion ring. In 14 years of coming to this Burger King I have never had such poor service that I felt the need to ask for my money back...until tonight! I waited for 3 minutes at the counter waiting to be served as the counter girl stood by the mgr who was servicing the ice cream machine. It wasn't until the mgr had to tell her to take my order did she come to the register. I gave her my order and I could see she was in training. I have more patience than most and have been a trainee at some point too so I waited. But she got the order wrong and had to have someone ( the window girl) fix it so she could start over. Again, patience...I said nothing. I wait for the order, didn't get my cups for drinks, but I'm still patient. Wait 4 min when I realized she forgot something on the 2nd order! So I order that item and wait. By now, 6 min in, I've got to use the little girls room. Told the girl to bring the order into the play room where my kids were (never ever had anyone not do this even without asking!) . Come out of the restroom and wait. She hands me the 2nd ordered item. I ask where everything else is! She gets help!! Who needs help?you took my order, you know I've been waiting!!! The window girl comes to help and says "oh, we called you but you weren't here." No you moron, I told the girl where I was! AND to take it to the play room since I HAD BEEN WAITING FOREVER! 12 min on their clock! The window girl cops an attitude with me and now I'm done!
