The rating of 5 stars is solely attributed to the crew during the early morning hours, approximately 11:40 am. The food quality was exceptional, ranging from the burger to the tacos. However, the crew's performance during the day and night shifts is significantly subpar. Notably, the younger individual at the front desk consistently demonstrates poor service. If I were to rate the crew based on shifts, he would receive a half-star. The food quality is consistently poor, and the order on both our meals was incorrectly prepared twice. Despite these issues, I am compelled to continue working through lunch hours. read more

It's crazy that it's been 3 years since the last time I came here. A lot has changed, two of which being my level of detail I put into my reviews, and, more important, my own personal standards. The interior was fine. Tables, tall chairs, soft booths and tile floor. It was pretty clean thankfully, but it was also a painfully average fast food interior. Very little personality to it. I had a rather strange interaction with my cashier. I always start with asking how their day is going, as I like spreading some positivity to the employees, however much I can. But my cashier completely ignored my question with no response at all. It completely threw me off. He was also quite "distant" during my entire ordering process. Speaking rather quietly, very short sentences, and kinda monotone. However, the rest of my interaction with him was fine, so I'll be charitable and assume he didn't hear me ask him that. I ordered the Jumbo Breakfast Platter with eggs, bacon, Hashbrowns and French toast. The bacon was an absolute joke! It was paper thin, extremely bland, and not all that much of it. Absolute disappointment. The Hashbrowns were fine. They tasted good, but I've had pretty much the exact same hash browns at many other places. The French toast was not very good. The taste was average, but it was very tough and crunchy. If it didn't come with Syrup, which added JUST enough flavor for me to finish it, I wouldn't have. The eggs were the most disappointing part of the whole thing. They were so incredibly bland, even with added salt, pepper, and ketchup. The worst eggs I've had in any memory I can recall. I was honestly impressed with how bad the breakfast was! My old review of the lunch I had here might still hold up, I don't know. But the breakfast today was so bad that I'll never eat a breakfast here ever again! Debatable on if I'll ever come back here again in general! read more

A Five Star fast food experience today at Jack in the Box on Los Altos Pky in Sparks. The drive through was smoking but I went into the restaurant. Very clean and nice. Not the best choice for a quick breakfast. Took 20 minutes and the food was still cold and soggy. Ultimate breakfast croissant had a had piece of bacon, a piece of ham and a small blob of sausage. Cheese was on the outside of the croissant. Hash browns were soggy with the grease soaking through the bag. read more

Very clean well run Jack in the Box. Employees are very nice and professional. The food was cooked well, not overcooked, and very fresh.

The Customer service person taking the order seemed to be rushing and not very thorough, even though there were no cars behind mine. Secondly we had to park to wait for our food and our fries we're cold by the time we got the order although the man that brought out our order was actually very polite and courteous he gave us plenty of napkins and plastic utensils but when we got home we realized they forgot one a part of my order an entire meal was missing. It wasn't like it was for an adult who would understand, it was for a small child which makes it worse, read more

WARNING: CHECK YOUR KIDS FOOD! Thankfully my 6yr old pulled this bread clip out of his mouth after taking a bite of his ultimate cheeseburger! I thought the food being cold was bad enough but a bread clip!? I shouldn't be explained to my child how lucky he was to have caught that before swallowing!! Or how it even got there!! After seeing the stars and reviews for this Jack in the Box location, this establishment is incompetent! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! read more

Has always been the worst Jack in the Box since I can remember in high school! Had a night out and we decided for Jack.... I don't what was worse, the hangover or the food! We went through the drive thru and it was an absolute nightmare, we waited forever for cold soggy food. Yikes! I have not had Jack in the Box since before my youngest was born over 12 years ago! Needless to say this is why! read more

Went there this afternoon and got 6 warm taco's. They were so old and had grease soaked through the taco shells and it made them stick to the taco wrapper. This is the first time I've been back there since Nov 2023. Prices are up sizes are down and as you can see the food quality isn't very good. The shift supervisor should not have let tacos like this be sold. read more

A lot better experience. Maggie was a pleasure taking our order, even when the register crashed. Hot and fresh food just as it should be. read more

Ok so I didn't take pictures because I was starving and we were in a hurry. I had a double decker fish sandwich meal with no cheese, fries, and a cherry vanilla coke. My daughter had a strawberry milkshake no whipped cream and onion rings. We both enjoyed our food my sandwich could have used more tartar sauce and the lettuce wasn't great but it was still good. The fish was cooked very well. Just a little greasy. Not too bad. I was also excited to see my yelp cash balance fo 7 percent cash back. read more

Remember this is a chain. It may not be the best in it's genre. My son loves the breakfast combo from here. Normally I do the drive thru. All I can tell you is that the employees at this location are kind, friendly, professional and always trying to deliver your food in a timely manner. Today was no different. I love when a happy voice comes through the intercom and is able to uplift you. I don't remember the name of the person who helped me on this day. I wish could remember all the names of the terrific and friendly employees. My breakfast order at night usually takes a little longer to make. I am just so happy that they have breakfast available all the time. Kudos to all who work here for always delivering my food with a smile. read more

Thus concludes three years of disappointment. I will not be eating here again. The prices are the same as most eat in local restaurants. Consistently rude drive thru staff and missing items more often than not. Cold and dry fries and drinks mostly ice. Every corner is cut and tricked pulled to shrink servings and soar prices. I know this a common and widespread practice that isn't exclusive to this store but the lack of care of people and products is right on par with walmart. read more

As many times ive had food from here, i must be addicted. I continue to go here and expect the drive thru time and accuracy with my order to improve. I must be insane. How is it you can mess up 3 items. A shake, a brekfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich. 3 items total, not even the meal. 15 mins in the drive thru only for you to tell me," we are unorganized, sorry, we gave your sandwich away on accident, we will make you a new one." Fast food wants $15 an hour?!!!!!!! For what? So you can be what looks like a crack head in your 40's? Wheres my stroke cane....ahem.....back in my day, only adult in a fast food joint was the manager. The rest were high school kids learning responsibility and the value of a buck".......cmon folks, step yo game up! You picked the job, so do it well. Take pride in your work. read more

Jack in the Box - In drive thru, and theyre hiring. - Fast Food Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

Worst "fast food" place, shouldn't be considered fast at all, I came in just for a double jack sandwich and it literally took almost 20 minutes to get it, while I was waiting, another customer came for just a coke and it took like 8 minutes to give her just the cup for it, its just ridiculous. Too bad I cannot rate it negative stars. read more

Hey guys welcome back, and this afternoon I'm going to be talking about jack in the box. I usually like it here but today they forgot to give me my mini tacos and they literally didn't put bacon on my ultimate BACON cheeseburger! I don't know if they were all out of whack because of a short staff but either way I don't think that this is any way to treat a customer and they could have tried to be more pleasing. But, overall the food was good although it could have been better . If you haven't read any of my other posts I highly recommend you read my very first one! And you should defiantly check out that amazing restaurant! read more

There are two menus in the drive through that you can read. The location it in a good spot. Near shopping, and banks. The only difference I seen was the menu on there display boards do not match sons items on website. read more

This is by far the WORST location in the Reno Sparks area. There are multiple reasons why : -Using the online to go order is a bad idea. Food was old, cold and not even correct. Missing multiple items. Not to mention, even using the online order when we arrived to pick it up, it still wasn't ready. - Employees have no clue what they are doing or do they show any kind of interest in customer service. -We tried to call the location to complain about the terrible order we received and no one ever answered the phone. -These weenies think they deserve a 15hr wage when they cant even do simple tasks!! - A letter to corporate will be written. We will drive the extra the miles to another location just for better service and food !! read more

The costumer service was honestly not the best and is why i leave this review, i had a very rude cashier. I didn't do anything to her but whatever she just tried to get me out of there it was kind of annoying. Then i asked for a vanilla Lg Coffe iced she just charged me for a regular iced coffee in not a fan. my sandwich was really small too, she didn't repeat my order either but whatever, i went in at 9 am btw. read more

Every fast food chain has its own set of people so naturally each one is going to be different and vary depending when you come in. This one seems to be decent during the after noon. Quick order, quick pickup and off you go. Pretty much just a normal chain. Go curly fries or go home. read more

I have had some really good experiences at this Jack in the Box location, and some really poor experiences. I really don't expect much as I realize it is fast food. I expect friendly, efficient staff, for my order to be correct and served in a timely fashion, and for the food to taste good. There was a time I did not patronize this location in the evening because the service was horrible. That seems to have been resolved based on my last few visits. Today I went here for breakfast after an appointment at the Renown location that is in the same shopping area. My order was immediately taken upon pulling up to the speaker. The gentleman taking my order asked me to remind him about the cream and Splenda I ordered for my coffee when I reached the window. There was a small wait while the two cars ahead of me received their items. When I reached the window the same gentleman who took my order quickly processed my payment, handed me my items, and even remembered that I wanted four cream and four Splendas for my coffee. It really is the little things that make a difference for me. He was very nice and very professional. One of these four stars is for his service alone. The food was average Jack in the Box fare. It was hot, fresh, and greasy (as a sausage breakfast burrito should be). Next time I will order it without the sauce as it has a sweet taste to it that I am not crazy about...but that might just be my taste buds. Their hash browns are good...crispy on the outside like I prefer them. I also like their coffee though it seems to be stronger than most fast food coffee (Burger King also has strong coffee in my opinion). This is not a bad thing for me as I don't mind strong coffee...just an observation. Anyway, my experience today made me glad I chose Jack in the Box this morning! read more

Eh, mediocre at best. I went inside to order my food instead of going to the drive thru. This is first time at this particular branch and I just wasn't impressed. I understand that this is a fast food franchise, so I didn't have high hopes for spectacular service and food, but it just wasn't good on any aspect, being service or food. I ordered my ultimate sausage sandwich as I was feeling like breakfast that afternoon from a lady at the front who seemed like she didn't want to be there and us ordering was an inconvenience to her. Sure, I guess no one really wants to work, but decent customer service goes a long way. I decided to just shrug it off, but then I got my food. The egg and sausage in the sandwich weren't hot at all. Luke warm would be the best word to describe it. Just wasn't satisfying. Needless to say, I may just stick to McDonald's when ordering fast food breakfast sandwiches. read more

Are u kidding. Saturday night five thirty NO TACOS. Are u kidding me? Where is their MANAGEMENT?? Update.... several more chances to do a better job. None of them meet even a bum on the streets lowest expectations. Sorry. I'd bring that bum home with me for a can of chef boy Ardee!! So sad. Good location. Two years of piss poor service. Done. Never the right order, ingredients not in stock, weekends are worse that midday weekdays, wrong orders. Is there anything more frustrating than ordering, getting it five miles home and seeing they screwed up your entire order? Do I HAVE TO GO INSIDE AND CHECK THE ORDER IN FRONT OF THEM EVERYTIME???? read more

After a Reno Aces game and we were given coupons at the game for Jack-In-the-Box, buy one large drink and get a free Jumbo Jack. We both were hungry and decided to stop at the Jack-In-The-Box at Los Altos and the Pyramid Highway. I'll have to admit, my wife and I are not fast food eaters primarily because of the processed foods most sell are full of calories and more salt than I consume in one day. But we decided to give it a try, what the heck, we seldom do this, so let's go for it. We ordered a Jumbo Jack and the large drinks and we also order a small and a large order of French fried potatoes. My wife's order came out first and she noticed how limp her French Fries were and she asked if she could have a fresh order and they politely replied, "yes". When my order was ready, I did not have any French fries so I ordered mine separately. My wife got her order of fries, but I did not get mine. I brought it to the attention of the young cashier and she said it would be a few minutes more. I was 2 bites from finishing my burger when I got my large order of fries. There should be no question about the 2 stars. There are other fast food places that run efficiently and the staff members are very polite. The staff at the restaurant was nonchalant and there was even an off-duty employee helping at the counter. I worked in the restaurant business but I choose not to be critical about service and the ways things should be operated. Not for me to say, mostly because I don't know what their working policies are. This was a very young crew and I just hope for the sake of the Jack-In-the-Box, they get it together and provide better and more courteous service. Somehow I was overcharged close to $2.50, but that has nothing to do with the rating I am giving them. Lots of room to improve especially since I believe Friday and Saturday evenings are prime time for them. read more

Came in to try the Spicy BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, so we ordered one combo for each of us (two) and a chicken fajita pita. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant, handed us the cups and informed us that she would bring the food out to us. A short wait later, the food arrived at our table, and she asked if we needed any condiments, and quickly returned with our request. The first bite into the Pita, the comment made was "the bread is not good, as in stale. As for the burgers, once out of the packaging we had a quick laugh and said to each other, it sure doesn't look like the picture (when does it?). On closer inspection we discovered that neither burger had onion rings on them. I informed the young lady that took our order, she apologized and informed me that they were making new rings and that it would be a couple of minutes. A man's voice came from the background asking what was wrong, and the young lady informed him that he forgot the onion rings on the burger, to which is replied, it didn't say to add onion rings. I'm sorry, but as the person responsible for making the burgers for people, it is his responsibility to know what goes on each of them. Shortly after the man's comment was made another woman's voice told the young lady that she had onion rings and handed her a container with the rings. The young lady handed me the container, with only two rings. Now remember we had two burgers, which should have two rings each. The girl did ask if this was enough, and at this point I was didn't want to deal with them any further, so I said yes and let me wife enjoy the two onion rings. read more

Ordered a Classic Buttery Jack combo & a Sourdough Jack combo for the wife & myself. Both burger patties were tough & dry. They were probably old AF. There wasn't nearly enough sauce in either burger, making each bite a delightful mouthful of sand. The fries were tasteless, even with salt. If we hadn't been so hungry, we would've chucked both meals in the trash after a single bite. In retrospect, I wish I had because WE was in that Classic Buttery Jack gave me the super shits for THE REST OF THE DAY. The woman who took my order was one of those patently unfunny people you meet at carnivals or at the supermarket. I asked her for ketchup, & she was like, "That'll be $5.00...oh no, I'm just joking, here you go." There's nothing funny about that shit. Just gimme some MF-ing ketchup. The tables also weren't very clean. There were three that definitely hadn't been swabbed. No excuse for this either, as the line for the drive-through was short, & the dine-in guests were barely a trickle. Definitely not visiting again. read more
