Just your average Burger King bland and boring. A far cry from back in the day. The service was okay. I don't like how they try to force you to use the kiosk. Since you're not cutting me a check I don't want to do any work.The quality of the food has decreased greatly. You can't even finish a Whopper without the bread falling apart which makes me wonder if this is really bread. I don't see the burgers roll over the flame like they used to back in the day and they certainly don't have the same flavor. I was not happy with the taste of the burger. When you ask for the district manager, they start speaking Spanish and just kept saying "give him Daniel's number. A 12yo child was FORCED to clean the restaurant with doors locked! A child went to this Burger King location with friends after school. The child took a little longer than an employee liked and told the child that he (the child) would need to clean every table and floor because he (the employee) wanted to leave. The child was blocked by the employee from leaving!!! The employee instructed co-workers to LOCK DOORS until the child completed this. This location is terrible. When placing my order I clearly told the employee not to put mayo on the Whoppers. Was handed the receipt where it's clearly notated no mayo. The same guy who took the order put mayo on them, and I kid you not, on the wrappers there was a line stating no mayo. Then another employee came in after having a smoke, swearing about the manager calling out and put a partly smoked cigarette on the counter. Took a pic. Usually there is a huge line at the drive through and if you go inside to bypass that line it turns out no one is working the counter at all so you stand there until/if the drive through attendant can get to you. Don't eat this junk too often but, decide to stop and get our dinner from this Burger King Friday night. Let me just say I usually check the bag to make sure it's all in there. I got home to find out my burgers were not in the bag. I had to go all the way back, since they sat around for more than half an hour I requested my money back. They acted like I asked them to give birth. Neither the employee or the manager said anything about the mistake. I ended up making something else to eat. My wife ate her burger and got sick for the last 2 days. What a sad bunch of losers that can't even keep the place clean no less running efficiently and error free. Worst Burger King on the planet. or at least Monmouth County. Someone needs to explain FAST food to them. And it not a pandemic thing. Their service has always been meh. Pandemic just made it worse. They are out of milkshakes. They no longer have smoothies. Have been for a while. Menu is so limited they had to make a new digital board. Drive-thru wait times are RIDICULOUS! There were six cars behind me... 5 left. We went for breakfast. By the time we got out of line it was lunchtime. Not exaggerating. One driver flipped off the restaurant as he sped away. 5/13/21 9- 10pm at night . Drive thru worker came to my car with handcuffs. Waiting in line for an hour was the least of my worries. As i got to the speaker a man came on saying " give me a few minutes" I said a few more minutes ? I have been waiting for an hour. He goes I have a 50 dollar order I need to go outside to fill; THAT PART DID NOT MAKE SENSE AT FIRST BUT NOW IT DOES . I finally get to the window and the man starts telling me how he is an undercover cop there on light duty. I Said Light duty? Are You undercover? he said no. I said shouldn't you be doing desk work? He said he is there because of the judge. Told me he will lock me up etc. Told me to google judges and cops but i wouldn't take my eyes off of him. I asked what district he told me jackson I asked to see his badge. He goes ill be right back walks away and as i look up he is coming out from burger kings back entrance walking up to my car. He comes up to my window and pulls out handcuffs from his pocket. At this point i was shaking but i was alone so i played along . I laughed it off , he tapped my car asking to come in for a ride I said no. He goes back inside , fulfills my order and starts talking again telling me he worked for UPS and he broke his neck and shoulder and was at BK for light duty. Then told me I need to go to one of his shows. I asked what kind of show and he told me he was an R and B artist like Maxwell . As soon as i was able to pull off i did , but i decided to check my order and of course it was wrong. Instead of waiting in line for another 40 minutes i walked up to the drive thru window where he was taking another mans payment . He yelled what did i forget? I said its all wrong , my coke is a cherry coke ,my sandwich is regular chick with cheese I asked for spicy chicken . He goes your order is right it has yellow cheese on it i said my order is incorrect . Can I have what i ordered. He told me i cant have coke because they cleaned the line and i will only get cherry coke. I said never mind can i just have my money back? The sandwich and soda i brought back to the window i placed on the ledge of window . I Told him to just throw it away and he said no take it , I said no really throw it out please. He said no . i had called my mom prior to have her on the phone with me , She asked if i was okay and because the Bluetooth was on and my window was open i turned to my car and said i am here. When i turned back around the man pushed the soda and sandwich off the drive thru window sill onto my sneakers and said I told you because of covid we cant take anything back i said no you didn't he goes yes i did. He then gave me my card and got about 100 napkins and held them out the window. Now it makes sense as to why he had to go outside to fulfill an order.. The person in front of me was a female as well . I was very scared and when i saw a cop car I approached and told him to go there. I just called the Burger king 5/14/21 @ 8am and the manager picked up and she cut me off and said last night was his last night there in general . I explained that he approached my car with handcuffs , threw food off the window sill at me and she did not seem to care at all. Just said it isnt the first time she heard he as impersonating a cop. I asked if she thought it was acceptable that he came to my car with handcuffs , threw food etc. Not even an apology , NOTHING. I spent over 20 minutes in the drive thru on Saturday. After requesting someone to contact me and getting zero response I am writing here. The poor KIDS working the drive thru were under staffed and completely confused by all the orders. When I finally reached the window, the teenager was still pleasant although she was obviously struggling with the orders. The was NO sign of any management at the window to assist, just one other teenager. These kids do not get paid enough to handle the responsibility when problems arise.
