Every visit here makes me miss when this was an Arby's about 15 years ago. How do you have the audacity to close parts of the store for remodeling and then the only things which are different are the awning and the soda machine? There's now only 1 self-serve soda machine instead of 2, which only means that now there's only 1 machine to frustrate you when the sodas are out. The food is atrocious. I don't know how it is that bad so consistently, but every piece of bread of every variety here tastes like stale bread that was frozen and reheated. Prices are crazy, and the app is pretty much useless for any real savings there. Surly employees, and a bathroom that looks like it's not been touched since 2014! Avoid at all costs. read more

This is not the most dine in friendly Burger King that I have visited. This location seems to be geared more towards those in their vehicles and wanting to get them in and out as fast as they can. When you park, no matter where you park in this lot, you have to cross through the drive thru lane to get inside the dining room. I know you have to do this at just about any fast food location, but more so at this one. Like they have a cement divider/curb that separates the lane from the rest of the lot and you have to walk through it with the constant flow of vehicles. It is so odd, the inside of this location is well taken care of and newer looking. But it is obviously underused. The staff inside were fast and efficient. My order was correct. And even though they had a constant flow outside, they were fast with the service. I'm liking the turn back to the 80s here with the logo and crowns everywhere for the taking. This is quite possibly the worst Burger King on the planet. The drive thru has 'curbs' on either side, so once you get in line- you can not leave until you reach the pickup window. I know because I was stuck in the line for 42 min one day! They never get the order correct, and the lettuce is old and brown. I was excited that they had arrived because they offer Beyond Burgers, but I won't go back again after many bad experiences there. read more

I thought 4 cars at the drive through line meant a quick grab and go meal. Wrong. It took forever to get my order. I got a double cheeseburger and the jalapeno cheddar bites. Burger was ok but way salty, it had more mustard than all the other fixings ingredients combined and it was fairly cold. The last one is the most irritating of all. Cheddar bites were ok. Rude customer service. I was at the drive thru and because I hesitated slightly while placing my order, the cashier John said with an irritated tone, "Can you hurry up, because I have other customers waiting". Hello, I am a customer that was waiting as well. Also, there were at least 4 cars ahead of me waiting for their orders. So my slight delay should not have cause that much of a disruption. I know customer service is dead, but I see common courtesy has passed away as well. I have frequented this location before and while there have been issues, I have overlooked them because for the most part my interactions with the staff has been pleasant or at the very least cordial. Should have paid attention to other reviews on this place. Went to drive in line ordered whopper with ketchup, pickles, and mustard. What I got was a junior whopper with mayo, pickles, lettuce and onions. Aside from the fact that I don't like mayonnaise, there was so much of it on the sandwich that the bun kept sliding off. The tag on the bag was correct. I was too tired and hungry to go back. Attention workers please pay attention to what you are placing in the bag. My wife and I have bought food here on numerous occasions, since 2013. The food and service has been very good. Just bought bacon cheeseburgers today and the service was quick. The burgers were hot and juicy. It was very good, as usual. We're not talking about gourmet burgers here, just relative to other fast food burgers. The dining room was clean. The tables had signs that said they were cleaned. If you use the table, then you have to flip the sign over. The other side said the table has been used, so don't use it. They have so many deals on food, you can get a meal for a ridiculously low price. Go online for special offers and points. You can get free food with points. A useful tip to complainers at the drive-thru; when there is a line in the drive-thru, walk inside and order. It won't kill you. That's what I always do and I've never had a problem with slow service or "cold" food. This restaurant is not deserving of a 1.5 stars rating. The rating is ridiculous. read more

This is easily the worst Burger King location (worst fast food location, I'll say) that I have ever been to. They constantly get things wrong, and the big thing is they are out of something always! I've never seen a fast food place out of so many different things. They have been out of Whopper Meat, cheese, out of soda (coke, etc. but have stuff I don't drink), lettuce, tomatoes, and they were even once out of BUNS! I was in Burger King today waiting on a door Dash order. I watch the employee digging his hair wiping his eyes putting his hands all over his face and clothesHe never washed his hands or changed his gloves. Then proceeded to bag food.? Management was right there and never said a a word to him. I also told them 3 times who I was there for and they still thought I was with the person picking up before me. I walked in and the place had employees running all around in disarray. I walked up to the counter and mind you there was nobody as in other customers there except for one gentleman standing back waiting for his order. I stood at the counter for five minutes before a lady with headphones. Another three or four minutes past and nobody acknowledged me, I stood there approximately another three to four minutes without a person even making eye contact with me. So I left. This was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere I can assure you I will never come back and I will tell everybody I know to find a different place to go. I had to repeat my four item order three times because the staff was too busy laughing with each other to pay attention. My order was handed out without a word. Items were improperly wrapped, one almost not at all, and there was more grease than food in the bag. Management's words: "oh yeah, that happens." I didn't have a user account on Yelp but I signed up for one just to write this review. I had a very pleasant experience at the Dunkirk location of Burger King today and I wanted to share. Yesterday I went there to get lunch. I drove up to the drive through and ordered a "number 6 meal," which was clearly labeled on the menu as "swiss and mushroom burger" (quite delicious by the way). The guy who was taking the order asked me if I wanted "medium or large." I said, "small." Then he told me the total price for the item that I ordered, which was slightly cheaper than what was on the menu. I thought it was odd but brushed it off thinking maybe it was because I went "small" instead of medium. After I got my food and drove away from the window, I realized that they gave me a different sandwich, which explained the difference in price. I could have gone back and but didn't because I was in a hurry. Today, I went back to Burger King again because I really wanted that swiss and mushroom burger. Same drill, I ordered food ("number 6") and specified that I wanted a small size, then the lady who was taking the order told me the same lower price for the food. I realized then that there was something going on. I explained the situation and what had happened the previous day. Suddenly a man's voice joined the conversation and said he would fix the order for me. When I drove up the window with my credit card in hand, the man (I assume the manager) apologized for the mix-up and told me that he paid for the meal. Turns out the machine was somehow mislabeled and number 6 was linked with a different menu item. Never had a problem with this location until recently, the new staff is so rude and not helpful what so ever. My fries felt like sat under the warmer for 5 hours before being served. The cashier (Tawny) rolled her eyes when i told her they were cold, as if it was an inconvenience for her to serve me HOT food. Manager said he would talk to the staff and that this has been an ongoing issue. Hopefully that resolves. read more

I am so glad the other reviews reflect my overall experience with this location. I tolerate it simply for the fact there are not a lot of options in the area. This location is very slow. Slow even by fast food standards. On my recent visit I walked inside because the drive thru was so long and while I was the only person inside, I still was there for around 10 minutes. The only positive (if you can call it that) was I saw instantly what the problem was. The staff are not interested or encouraged to work. The guy on the left has his ipod in his ears and the girl(s) on the right were giggling and smacking their gum. Eww. And remember, this is all visible from the counter, imagine what we can't see. Oh, and they charge for extra sauce. If the service of this location wasn't already one star, I would be tempted to take away 4 full stars for that alone. This is the place where you can "Have it your way!" unless you want more sauce than the 1 cup they provide or would like to try more than 1 sauce. Then you'll have to reach in your pockets for more coins just to have your food the way you want it. Lame. Really lame. I mean they don't give me a discount when I take items like onions or pickles off my sandwich, do they? Of course not. So when I require an extra sauce, please don't ask for my credit card again. Wow. I thought to avoid them for their first month - the drive through line was always wrapped around the building and inside look packed. But I've gone three times now. What horrible, horrible service. They can't find items on their own menu. Then they still charge the wrong prices! I used to work at this Burger King. They said I was the best employee they had, because I actually worked. I am very sorry to say this but even as an employee, I could tell this place sucks. I'm a Junior in Highschool, I worked there for about 3 months. The employees literally don't give a crap what they do, they are rude, slow and just downright ungrateful that they even have a job. Needless to say I quit. Regardless, it's pretty sad that such a wonderful restaurant reputation was ruined by crappy highschooler employees and stoners. Now, I'm never one to jump on the racist bandwagon, but almost every single black employee in that godforsaken place didn't know how to speak any language. It was so bad that even they didn't know what the h*ll they were saying!!! On top of that, the employees would always rush other employees, but then get upset when we rushed them to hurry up. I was the fastest sandwich maker that actually cared about what the customer was eating. Because I ate there too. But they always rushed me, and got very snotty with me whenever I was trying to do something right. Those are not nice people and should not have been hired. This establishment will never ever get my business again! My family and I went there Saturday afternoon to feed our 4 children. The inside was not busy, and I stood at the counter for ATLEAST 10 minutes telling this girl our order. Which was not hard AT ALL. I asked for TWO #1's both only with cheese, mustard and ketchup ( she just couldn't grasp this..i had to tell her THREE times during the process of my order) one #7 PLAIN with ONLY cheese, and 2 "King Jr" cheeseburger meals. She had to turn around and look at the menu to try and figure out what a King Jr was....which is OBVIOUSLY a kids meal, so right as she looked, I blurted out...IT'S A KIDS MEAL. After numerous times of asking what was on which sandwich AGAIN, she finally printed the receipt...and as she is getting our drink cups...she had to run her finger down the receipt to see how many drink cups and what size we needed. As if I wasn't already frustrated enough. I look at our receipt and I tell my boyfriend that I can guarantee our sandwiches will be wrong because the receipt had "plain..add cheese add mustard" (it should of had ketchup as well like i said 3 different times) my daughters sandwich is the one that she was told was plain. So we get the food. We stand there to check our food because i just knew it was wrong....and sure enough our sandwich only had mustard on it. The girl who took my order is still standing at the register, I wait to get the managers attention, and tell him these are wrong and he asks for my receipt..and i told him ( to where the girl could hear me) that my receipt does not show it, but that i told her THREE different times "cheese mustard ketchup only" So, the girl mumbles something under her breathe, so I asked her what she said...she replies "you heard me" and i said no i didn't, if i heard you i wouldn't be asking what you said" then proceeds to tell me that I heard her again. Then she says "you said plain" YEAH ON the number 7!! If i said plain, for my 2 #1's then WHY is there mustard on it? My point exactly. She then proceeds to argue with my boyfriend back and forth before I tell him to just stop, it isn't worth it. Meanwhile this manager is doing NOTHING about this situation AT ALL. He's handing me my sandwiches back and listening to me explain whats wrong with it while an employee and customer are screaming back and forth. You would of thought absolutely nothing was going on. (Wait it gets better) Brian expresses how ridiculous this place is. So, we take our sandwiches to the table and sit down with our kids to eat. THEN....here comes a black guy ( which i assume was her boyfriend) walking towards are table and begins to threaten us asking if there is a problem...We said there was no problem except for the simple fact that we said something 3 times and it was still wrong...and then he tells me....that's why there ketchup packets....Ummm i'm sorry?? No, it's the point that you have a job to take orders, correctly. I understand mistakes happen, but this was multiple problems and not only was she told once, i said it 3 times. He starts to argue with my boyfriend and tells him they can go outside? So, we just said...BEING ADULTS..told him there was no problems, all good. So he walks away still mumbling shit, and then tells us "you need to be nice when you come to a place like this" WOW REALLY?? TO BURGER KING? I FORGOT IT WAS A 5 STAR PLACE AND THE JOB WAS REALLY HARD!! The boy goes out to his car, gets a cigarette and smokes it standing outside of the windows....pacing back and forth starring at us inside...just trying to antagonize us. After probably smoking the cigarette down to like the filter ( probably trying to prolong so we will finish and walk outside) he finally walks inside and goes to the counter....so us having the children, said lets just go out the side door while he's inside because we didn't need anything started while we had kids, nor Brian didn't need any trouble. I'm sure this guy and girl were only maybe 20 years old. Obviously no cooth AT ALL to come over and start shit with 2 adults while children are sitting there. Absolutely ridiculous!! We will be doing more about this, i'm sure nothing major will happen but called this morning and manager won't be back in until tomorrow at 7:30, but he willl hear an earful about his rude employee who called her thug boyfriend up there to threaten customers in the establishment and how this manager or staff did NOTHING about this.
