Thanksgiving Sub however they didn't add stuffing or cranberry sauce smh
    Melissa E.

Ordering from this location through third party is not the move. My order is either completely wrong, or cold, sloppy and unacceptable to consume. Today I ordered the limited Thanksgiving sub, with stuffing and cranberry sauce. I received a dry sub, with just turkey. Disappointed is an understatement. How is this location still operating so poorly. I don't like driving to the actual location because it's so inconvenient so I'll have to stick with Jimmy John's or Jersey Mikes when I want a sub.

    New York Steamer

Spent 52$ on 2 subs and 2 mac n cheese Subs barley had anything on them i had to change my order 4 times due to them being out of almost everything. The two employees turned customers away at 8:15 due to them closing at 9:00 then continued talking about the customers as they walked out irritated. I will only eat here again if the manager is working he has always insured everything is done correct and everyone's happy

Hook & Ladder Salad with no flash

Decided to get a salad to have for lunch during my work day and settled on the Hook & Ladder. The food was picked up the night before by my mom so I didn't see it until pulling it out for lunch the next day. It was full of toppings such as cucumber, cheese, peppers and tomato. Underneath a MOUNTAIN of meat and very little lettuce that was mostly stems. First and last time getting a salad from this place. While it was packed in the bowl, which is nice, there was entirely too much meat for me to enjoy it.

I love firehouse subs and I loved this location. The servers are so nice and the location is well kept. As a franchise, firehouse subs is reasonably priced. But this establishment is polite and well kept. There was ample parking as well as seating. Kudos to one of the employees, the name said Jonathan on our receipt. He was very social and engaging. My fiance and I went on a weeknight and there was no line and the service was quick. He orders the Engineer and I ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch on wheat. We both agreed the TBR was better than the Engineer. I'm not sure if all the locations have this, but they had a cute kids corner. My only issue was my failure to notice the display of available sauces. I wish I saw this sooner to be able to try them with my sub. Otherwise, everything was on point. Can't wait for my next visit. Until next time, ring the alarm because this place is on fire!

The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.

But I finally made it! I ordered a chicken Philly with onions, sweet peppers, and mayo. I've tried a Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia several times before and wanted to see how this compared. The portion size was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The meat was also thoroughly seasoned, but a little dry. Not a lot of cheese, which was disappointing. I was looking for the ooey gooey cheesy cheesesteak that I've seen on tv and food shows so many times before. This wasn't it. But it wasn't bad. Be prepared for long lines and long wait times. I really like the pager system he has, which allows you to wait in your car until your food is ready. He also has a variety of toppings including mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms and more. I'd go back, but next time I would like to try the water ice. I was torn between giving 3 or 4 stars and decided to go with 4 due to the large portion size and taste of the food. I think it makes a difference if you don't have a reference point for Philly cheesesteaks. Without comparing it to what I tried before it was pretty good.

The service could have been better, but I don't think it was the servers fault. When I brought this to the server's attention, she went back and talked to the manager who also agreed the broccoli was overcooked so they comped the meal. The initial rating was going to be 2 stars but 9 times out of ten, this place makes really good food and the fact that the Customer Service saved them from losing a regular customer stands out over one bad meal. The server herself was embarrassed when I brought this up to her and I had to advise her this was not her fault, as she was always within reach and not hard to get the attention of. The wife had ordered a salad with chili vinaigrette and bleu cheese was initially brought out in a separate container. When we brought this to the attention of the server, she immediately corrected it and brought out two containers of the vinaigrette. The ambiance of the place was like a family owned establishment and all of the staff were on point and available at all times. It was cozy and didn't feel like we were being rushed while the place was hopping, the parking lot was full and the turnover was very quick. Never felt pressured or rushed, but the process was as smooth as silk. Still one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, which says something for a business that looks like a hole in the wall from the outside.
