The only place in Chinle Arizona to eat! Most places have closed down like the A&W or the Churches Chicken, it's the only place recognizable. The take credit/debit cards and cash. I think this place was remodeled by the looks of the dining area. The dining room is spacious and so is the kids playland. The menu is your typical BK menu, for frills or thrills. It was really clean and well maintained, I was pleased by the service and the cleanliness of this place. If you must travel through Chinle and you're hungry, check this place out.

Gross why are the onions on the floor?

I've been eating broccoli cauliflower carrots tofu for the past 2 weeks straight and well at some point, we all need a change of scenery. I came here to see if they had fish and sure enough, they do have a 2-piece fried fish combo. So for $6, you get 2-pieces of fried fish (forgot to ask what kind, but it kind of doesn't matter considering it's fried), french fries, honey biscuit and coleslaw. I do not like coleslaw, the mayo doesn't agree with me. I asked the guy if he would substitute mash potatoes instead. He said no. This kind of bummed me out. So, I told him to hold the coleslaw. After about 2 minutes, I yelled back into the speaker and asked if he could add on mash potatoes and he agreed and told me to drive up to the window. And yes they do take cash or card but no American Express. I waited a few minutes at the window and then the guy opened the window and swiped my card for $6.48. He then handed me my dinner and when I looked inside, he changed up the coleslaw for the mashed potatoes and gave me an extra side of green beans. That was so very sweet of him. I made sure to tell him thank you and that I really appreciated the nice thing he did for me. You know, sometimes, you just gotta do pizza slut. And well, tonight was just that kind of night. Thanks for feeding me.

After receiving our drinks, no one came back to take our order. We eventually flagged down a waitress (who was apologetic) to take our order. And, yes, as other reviews have mentioned, our orders came out in stages. Pro tip: order off the Pizza Hut menu, as those items all came out first. Like, significantly, first... We also ordered some local dishes, which were all tasty. The Indian fry bread was warm and very tasty. The lamb stew was very hearty. The restaurant appeared clean and organized. Just maybe some more servers, or something.

This is a combo restraint that is the both the Junction and Pizza Hut combined. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. It took a while for our meals to arrive and for the most part they were very good. The steaks were great, however the baked potatoes were refrigerator cold inside. They did offer and provide a side of fries to make this right. The sheepherder was a good beef sandwich but the fry bread was dripping oil. As a note we were some of the last customers before closing and I think they had started shutting down the kitchen before we arrived. We were thankful that they were open and we got served. If we were to pass through the area again we would give it another try .

This is also another one of those times I will be a devils advocate among my fellow yelpers and elites alike. Seeing most bad reviews here it seems to be due to long wait times and broken kiosk: But come on people, what does that have to do with the employees, the food or the restaurant? To a point yes but prime season when a bus and herd of tourists pulls up to the few employees thats available here in the middle of nowhere, what do you expect?? I came during off season, beautiful weather, definitely less people, no issues with kiosk or better yet some need to learn how to use mobile app to order their food like i did and got my food quick without issues. Compared to many McDonalds I have visited in many cities and states, this was actually one of my better experiences especially being in the middle of nowhere. Place was clean! Employees were super attentive to look around to clean and mop immediately as people left the tables. In Los Angeles, some employees can care less. The kids play area was also well kept and clean. They also have a family restroom in middle of restaurant close to kids play area. First time I ever seen that so thats a definite plus! My iced coffee was also made perfectly. So to the native employees here who truly take pride into their work, keep it up. My family acknowledge it and thanks you for keeping it clean for my child to have a safe place to play. Oh forgot to mention, they also have arcade games at each corner seats at the tables also!

Sunday, August 11, a little after 4:00 p.m., a friend and I stopped on our way home. I love the Chicken Pesto with Ciabatta bread. Well, this is what I ordered, but they were out of the bread. First strike, so I chose a different bread. Then I was going to add a drink and chips. I can't have sugar and I don't drink sodas, so ice tea is my drink of choice. Well, they were out of tea and was told they were not making anymore. So, then I proceeded to just get a cup of ice so I could get water. I'm traveling 8 hours home, a small free cup wasn't enough. So, they charged me for the cup. So, I asked her if she could at least give me the cup since they were out of everything I wanted. She didn't even apologize, she just said, "No, that's just how it is around here" Didn't care in the least that my first visit at this store will be my last. I'm sad the owner employs such disrespectful employees for their business. Hopefully Subway can send in an undercover boss to this store. It won't be in business very long with poor customer service and less than enthusiastic employees who don't want to make more tea or more bread.

This place has grown through the years, and now it is complete updated inside. From the simple walls from the past to faux brick walls and native American art and design. This simple American restaurant has aged nicely. They have updated menus, and updated POS systems that take cash, card and now, ApplePay. So tap your phone and your food will be securely paid for. Whoever upgraded the interior of this building deserves a free meal or two. The brick work, the wooden ceilings, and the artwork alone makes this a cozy place to devour your food. (I've attached photos). They have a clean patio section as well, if you prefer to eat outside in the warm sun as you watch cars pass by. If you're in a hurry, you can order by phone or drive-thru. Their menu is mostly American foods: burgers, bbq, chicken fish sandwiches, full dinners and stews. They also serve native American dishes, like navajo tacos, green chile stew, frybread and more. Desserts are a must, as I grew up eating their delicious ice creams (butterscotch being much favorite). They also carry iced coffee, smoothies and shakes. Making this a one-stop shop for any kind of hunger or thirst you're craving. Come by and support this small business, and skip all those nearby chain restaurants.
