Service was so slow, waited 20 minutes and when I asked for my refund they were rude, immature, and that young lady has no respect for her elders . If you're gonna compete with today's fast food joints please show some professionalism. read more

Located in the heart of Shiprock, near Shiprock's iconic Iron bridge and intersection leading to AZ and CO is Thatsaburger. This place has grown through the years, and now it is complete updated inside. From the simple walls from the past to faux brick walls and native American art and design. This simple American restaurant has aged nicely. They have updated menus, and updated POS systems that take cash, card and now, ApplePay. So tap your phone and your food will be securely paid for. Whoever upgraded the interior of this building deserves a free meal or two. The brick work, the wooden ceilings, and the artwork alone makes this a cozy place to devour your food. (I've attached photos). They have a clean patio section as well, if you prefer to eat outside in the warm sun as you watch cars pass by. If you're in a hurry, you can order by phone or drive-thru. Their menu is mostly American foods: burgers, bbq, chicken fish sandwiches, full dinners and stews. They also serve native American dishes, like navajo tacos, green chile stew, frybread and more. Desserts are a must, as I grew up eating their delicious ice creams (butterscotch being much favorite). They also carry iced coffee, smoothies and shakes. Making this a one-stop shop for any kind of hunger or thirst you're craving. Come by and support this small business, and skip all those nearby chain restaurants. read more

I bought a Navajo burger from there and the patty was cut in half. I'm very disappointed.

Being from Texas and eating Whataburger constantly as a pure-blooded Texan, this was certainly, a burger. Service was fine, but we did not receive our whole order, missing a drink and a whole burger. We let them know and they made it for us, after a while and overcooked the #%$! out of my wife's burger. Patties were dry and hard, very chewy. Fries were undercooked and chewy as well. We were very disappointed after going out of our way to try this place. I would have rather gone to the Burger King across the street. I do not recommend. read more

Considering there is not much in Shiprock, NM this burger joint is above average. If one is tired from the regular fast food in the local area or if you are passing through stop by Thatsaburger. (And no I am not affiliated with the company in anyway.) lol. I like ordering a double thatsaburger combo or a navajo burger. The fries and drink on the combo meal came as large. The hamburger meat taste above average and the bun and fixings taste a little better too. The fries taste different and are quite good. This establishment also has some navajo food also, for example, stew, frybread, just to name a few. So give the place a try and clog your arteries with cow and/or sheep meat. Fyi, this place is across the street from burger king. read more

We go out of our way to stop at this little burger place on our way between Colorado and New Mexico. Very friendly staff (and clientele!). Food is reliable - have enjoyed the burgers and the stew. Get the green chile added to the burger and you will be happy! read more

Stopped for lunch on a Thursday. The service was fast & friendly. Ordered the Justaburger combo with fries and tea. My other half ordered Thatsaburger combo with onion rings & a chocolate shake. We both added green chilis & cheese to our burgers. The meal came out hot. But we were a little disappointed to see the cheese slices were not melting. Also the patties were pretty thin. The fries & onion rings were good. We choose this restaurant based on other Yelp reviews, many of which were 4 & 5 stars. We were disappointed to just find your average fast food restaurant. read more

This review is based on the chili with pork and hominy-- wow. I love how spicy it is and it is very flavorful. They give you a bunch of crackers to "stretch" it but the heat of the chili was just a great way to warm up on cold nights. I wish I got burgers and the spam breakfast with eggs and either a frybread or tortilla. read more

I was a little skeptical from the looks of the outside but just venture in! I had the Navajo taco. It's was heaped with beans, fresh tomatoes, green chilies, lettuce, onions and cheese. They also serve large burgers and fries with fry sauce (a Utah condiment staple) that's somewhat harder to find outside of Utah but ohhhh so delicious! Trust me. The food was all very good. This is your best food option in this small town! Friendly staff and also fast! read more

If you ever go through Shiprock, NM you have to stop at Thatsaburger. Of course we had to try it coming from the home of the Whataburger. We came in and the owner immediately greeted us and carried on conversation. Super nice guy!! But they had my favorite orange cream milkshake and it's the best I've ever had! The Thatsaburger burger and fries were amazing! Super soft bread and the fries were perfect and tasted homemade!! Love this place!! read more

Great food! Come here and spend your money, Shiprock needs all the help it can get.

That was indeed a burger. Solid spot everyone was nice. Patty could've been a lil bigger. Other than that gas. Fries nice and crispy too. #yahboi read more

The problem I had today with Thatsaburger breakfast was it was horrible. "The Big Breakfast," was nothing like a BIG BREAKFAST. Burnt sausage, a frozen hash brown, and fried eggs that were cold and toast that weren't even toasted. DEFIANTLY DON'T RECOMMEND BREAKFAST. read more

While traveling west on vacation seeing the usual sites of Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon, we have attempted to support local food establishments as often as possible and stopped in at Thatsaburger in Shiprock, NM earlier this evening. I CANNOT SAY LOUDLY ENOUGH HOW VERY AWFUL OUR EXPERIENCE WAS. Not only were we charged outrageously, ($50+) our order was not as we asked, we paid for cheese we didn't receive, our fries were burned, and our hamburgers barely edible. Not to mention egregiously thin. These barely-there burgers left us wishing they had been honest in naming their business "Thatsaburger??" I'm utterly convinced their positive burger reviews have been bought or are from family members who reviewed them out of obligation. Just keep driving.... read more

Thatsaburger - Less than 1/4" f a burger. We paid $50 for this! Just say no and drive on down the road. - Fast Food Near Me - Shiprock, New Mexico

We've stopped here twice now en route from AZ to CO and have found it to be immaculate, with excellent service and an interesting, varied menu. You can get a very good burger and fries (very tasty) or a local meal consisting of anything from mutton stew and fry bread to a Navajo taco, and more. We highly recommend this spot. read more

So today between 2-3 pm. I ordered 2 frybread. After driving all day and was craving it and I don't live locally by the way. I ordered it took more than 5 minutes to finally get my order and the bag was hot so I let it cool down some. Reached into bag and one was still hot while the other was extremely Cold. It was a leftover, and the hot one was also a leftover but it was obvious they threw it into deep fryer to reheat. And it was extremely crispy like a fried pork rind. I was already long gone before I could turn back around read more

Pretty great fast food joints, a little more natural and "home cooked" than the other fast food places in Shiprock. I would suggest getting the green chili cheese burger or a box of fries with green chili and cheese, so delicious! They also have Navajo dishes for sale :) read more

Yummy burger. Had the cheeseburger and added green chiles to it, fantastic decision! Went here on the way from Phoenix to Farmington. There were a lot of locals in there so we knew it was probably going to be a good choice. If you're passing through, skip the chain joints and eat here. Very fresh, very authentic southwestern menu, very tasty, very cheap. Enjoy! read more

Delicious! A nice more local choice than a national chain like McD's. Burger came out nice and hot, fresh cooked and the fry bread was so tasty! Would recommend if road tripping. read more

The green chili pesole was awesome! I just kept staring at the soup expecting unicorns or fairies to come out because my brain couldn't compute the awesomeness that must have been magic. It was that good. We took the leftovers to family reunion and it disappeared. Literally opened the soup up and never saw it again. Awesome. Very quick service. Ask for some fry-bread to go along with it. You won't be disappointed. read more

This place was great. The staff were so friendly and nice. We heard the story of Shiprock while enjoying the freshly created, wonderful burgers, fries and a Navajo taco. Definitely a place we will visit again when we are in the area. read more

Driving through on the way to Albuquerque. Read the great reviews and they did not lie. This place is great had the "That's a burger double" and it was great. The fries portions are large a single order will easily feed two people so order accordingly. The friendly stiff were very eager to please. Recommend this place highly. read more

Best burger place in the middle of nowhere. I'd choose this place over the Burger King and Mc Donald's that are right down the road. I love that they use Romain lettuce for their burgers. And their breakfast burrito is delicious. I think it's the salsa they put inside. Reminds me of a good homemade burrito. read more

Stopped through on my way from Monument Valley to Albuquerque. I could have, and maybe should have risked a roadside tamale. I ordered a Navajo burger with no sides and brought in the water I was drinking. The flavor of the meat was alright and the fry bread wasn't bad. It's just, I can't remember that last time food ran through me before I had even left the restaurant. read more

Great lunch break for a group of hungry Boy Scouts. Had the green chili stew and fry bread. Perfect mid camp out meal!

Stopped by here on the way to Texas. Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the burgers and fries were good. The burgers were large for the price you pay for them too. Meat was good quality, bun was nice and soft, fires were cooked nicely without being over or under done. Bathrooms could be cleaner, it's about what you would expect for a place in a small town in between larger cities with not much else around. Still, food was good, making it a good stop along the way. read more

Good food, good alternative to all the fast food chains around here. We had 2 thatsaburgers and fries. Decent burger with super nice dude making sure he place was clean and that everyone was happy. Oh, they do an excellent job with their fries! read more

I created a yelp account just for this. After having my daughter I use the drive thru because I'm usually on the go, all 4 times I have come here. They take a minimum of 10mins for orders, before coming here my daughter is car ready (clean diaper, fed, burped, a toy she can play with in her hand and calm as a clam with a bright smile) but they take too long that she gets fussy, the drive thru lady acts like a zombie no motivation and no smile. But today of all days my daughter was fighting her sleep and teething is very close, they took forever for two meals and when I was leaving I hear the drive the lady talk smack about me letting my daughter cry. It says your a family friendly, I say nope your not. After having people constantly telling me how to raise my daughter and the in laws now hearing a zombie suddenly awaken and start smack talking about me. NEVER EVER COMING BACK. I spit every time I hear 'thatsaburger'. read more
