I would give them a one if it were not for the nice counter staff who were professional and prompt. They should not be punished entirely for the bad cooking and preparation which they did not do. I hold the management and BK leadership for that. The inside was clean if not tired and worn out. When most fast food joints have been modernizing and making interiors more comfortable, bright and clean this one looks about the same as any BK I remember for the 1980s. As I mentioned counter staff was friendly and prompt. A Spanish speaking family came in after me and with my limited Spanish I could tell they were a little confused. To my surprise a woman at the counter helped them patiently and explained the menu in perfect Spanish! So kudos to her. But the food :-( I ordered two burgers but no sides and a medium drink. Drink was from one of the big red Coke machines which to my disappointment was putting out mostly colored soda water no matter which flavor I tried. This was my first disappointment, if they are not keeping the machine rung right are they also not keeping the rest of the kitchen running well either? Apparently not. Neither burger I ordered seemed grilled, which is why you go to BK in the first place. The meat was grey and cold, broken in 6 pieces so it could not really be considered a hamburger at this point. Looking across the dining room is a giant poster with a photo of some juicy grilled burgers; thick, red and charred with dark grill marks. They way it would look if I'd grilled it at home. Many was pale, grey and cold. No grill marks and tasteless. I did not even finish it. I was hoping for something better with the second buyer but no, it fell apart with chunks of meat rolling out before I even got the paper off. Again a broken up piece of cold grey matter. How did this get by as an executable way to put out a burger? How could this be considered an executable product to give to a customer? It should have gone straight to the trash. Its been some time since I had been to a BK as the quality has gone down hill over the last few years. We used to trust and like them. Shame on BK management, not just this franchise and local manager, but the guys at the top. They decide how to run a company and they set the direction and example for the whole company. The failure at this location is endemic of most Burger Kings we have sampled in various states. Nearly always a disappointment. I don't know what they have changed about the way they cook but they used to have a solid backyard bbq flavor. Good meat and with all the fresh fixings your use at home. What happened? read more

It's fast food so at bare minimum I expect to be able to order, pay & get something to eat because I'm super hungry. I'm not expecting much more than that. Having said that personal cleanliness is EXTREMELY important to me when working in any food industry. Husband and I stopped here for a quick meal during house hunting. They were making fresh burgers so we had to wait a couple minutes off to the side. Time went by and it seemed strange that we didn't have our food yet. An employee finally came out and stated that they accidentally gave our order to another person. She apologized profusely and said she would remake our order. Not only did we get our correct meal freshly cooked, but we also got the other customers order that they were going to throw away, and four cookies. We ate here once -- admittedly it was a couple of years ago, but I'd never go back. The place was a mess, with trash and food smeared around on all the tables and seats. A very loud football game blared from a huge-screen TV. The food was forever in coming, and cold when we got it. Go elsewhere. read more
