Went to Wendy's in Carthage , Mo. the food was alright. The fries are always cold there. The spicy chicken sandwich was tasty. The biggest complaint I would have about this place is that it feels very unclean. Like it could really use a good carpet shampooing and a scrub down of the floors, tables, and chairs. My wife and I both wanted something quick and decided to get Wendy's baked potatoes for a snack. Big mistake! Spent almost $11.00 to buy three inedible potatoes. They appeared to have been sitting for SEVERAL hours. Why do you put food out to customers that can't be eaten! Went to this location today while heading back home. We got in line at the drive thru. We read off the the coupon exactly what it said. (2 for $10 classic chicken small combo) we get to the window. They couldn't figure out how to get the coupon to work then another individual comes over. Now we can't use the combo coupon but can get just two sandwiches for $5. Takes our card to pay. We proceed to sit and wait another 10 minutes. They came to the window twice to see what we ordered and if we paid yet. Finally 15 minutes later we received our order. read more

Not sure what's happened to it recently, had a record of slow orders and cold food, but recently their performance has been way up and the staff are quite friendly! Even at the drive-thru. Glad they got things cleaned up (figuratively I mean, indoor area was pretty clean too last I checked). Full selection majority of the time and almost always open on time in the mornings. read more

No apologies for the wait when I finally got to actually place my order, they mist assume this is typical for fast food? Anybody thinking about eating at Wendy's in Carthage - DON'T They are not taking care of drive through customers and if you give up on them ever coming over the microphone and you sit and sit and sit and speak into the microphone time after time asking for help and you drive to the window the Nasty Manager will call you a liar and tell you that you have to go back around and get in line again even though you tried and tried to get someone to talk to you before you drove to the window and lots of cars are lining up behind you. I manager should remember customers come first - should apologize and not call you a liar!!! Their service in the drive through has not been good for awhile but this takes all and I will not ever go back!! read more

I go up to Missouri every year and I go here. I think this place is great! It's not the best place but it is good if you want food fast.

Walked in, used the restroom first. NO toilet paper, not even an empty roll in the damaged and empty dispenser. No hot water. Trash can unusable. Pried it open to throw away paper torn from the roll sitting on the sink. 19:38 am, ordered two meals with chocolate Frosties. Told Kevin, the order taker about the condition in the restroom. He shrugged. We waited for 15 minutes while two meals were prepared. A few other people walking in, got their meals and left. Some came through the drive through, but we sat there and waited. Our hamburger patties were cold and hard and leftover from yesterday. They had been reheated, but the cheese didn't melt. The nuggets were cold and raw on the inside. Not safe to eat. Fries had no salt. Never got our frosties. Left at 10:55 am. Still waiting for frosties. As I left, I told the person hiding behind the counter about the frosties. She pointed at two horrid looking melted messes in cups sitting at the drive through counter, you mean those? We left. Called the number on the back of the receipt. They did not answer. After an hour, I hung up and called National number. They finally answered and were laughing at me. And, I am still out two frosties that I paid for and did not get. Wendy's has gone so far downhill from when it began, it should be run out of business before someone dies from raw chicken and leftovers. Disgusting! Avoid the one in Carthage like the plague. From salads with no dressing or no utensils to today sitting in drive thru several minutes with no one taking orders then pulling around to window to be further ignored.
