Very solid burrito! They definitely give you your money's worth! I have always gotten the burritos at this location. They give you so many options when it comes to sides and other toppings. At most other places, they charge you extra for such items, but not here! I always get the chicken burrito with pinto beans, rice, peppers, sour cream, cheese, hot queso, & guacamole! All of this for a set price!! So much food they can barely wrap it! Overall, great place with very good burritos and great for the cost! read more

This was the worse place I have ever eaten. It was filthy, had to ask for someone to come clean a table to sit at and there wasn't any other customers dining in. The food was cold, the counter they made food on was nasty. They were out of pulled pork. Soda fountain was filthy. The cleanest spot in the restaurant was the bathroom. This was the dirtiest place I've ever been. And way over priced for the amount of food you receive. read more

I go here about once a month. The lady that works in the lobby area a lot is really talkative and kind. My fav part about this QDOBA is the chips and queso. The chips always have such a good flavor and always taste fresh. I also love all of the drink options they have, more than 50. Check it out! Just unexpectedly terrible. My last couple of visits to Qdoba on road trips, etc. have been similarly janky but this was bad. Nacho chips were completely stale, with several coated with massive amounts of salt to the point of being inedible. The Impossible burger meat (which is usually delicious in its many forms at other eateries and in stores) was in large chunks with an odd coffee-ish flavor that I've never tasted before. I would hate for this kind of poor preparation to compromise adoption of a terrific, plant-based alternative. Queso was gloppy. Truly horrible. Taco salad was slightly, but only slightly, better. Service was just serve it and go. No niceties or greetings or farewells (and we were the only ones in the shop at the time). $20+ for a meal that would have been better from Taco Bell. read more

I have eaten here several times in Joplin while in town visiting. The restaurant is clean. Employees were friendly. The line is sometimes long during lunch but fairly quickly moving. The choice of ingredients is nice. I like getting to add exactly what I want. I prefer the naked burrito (comes in a bowl) to the burrito. The burritos are so big you almost have to eat them with a fork, so it seems easier to just start out with all the same stuff in a bowl, you don't get a tortilla though if that matters to you. Choices of rice, beans and meat. I really like the shredded beef, it is moist and flavorful. I have tried the chicken and it is not my favorite, seems a little dry. I don't eat salsa so I can't give you any tips there. I do love the queso though. I think you have to pay extra for it but it is totally worth it. You can get the original or the spicy queso. I think this is what separates Qdoba from Chipotle. To me their menus seem very similar. Chipotle only has regular shredded cheese and no queso. The queso is so delicious melted into the burrito. The burritos at Chipotle seem bland and boring without it. Just my opinion. I will continue to eat here even though Joplin now has a Chipotle. read more

I like the healthy alt they have to offer, with whole wheat tortillas and great variety of salsa's to change up the flavors. The menu offers a good selection and fully customizable to your taste. The staff are super friendly, and actually know about the food they are serving you. Unfortunately the food can be a little bland. It seems to be missing something. The food is always freshly cooked and with an open kitchen you can see you food being handled from start to finish. read more

Been going there for last two years and eat there twice a year. Everytime we go there you have to ask for extra toppings. They are very stingy and use left over from previous day. Management doesn't take pride on anything I didn't get my rewards last two times and manager didn't try to do anything. Seems like they don't care but now I will be at Chipotle twice a week. Qdoba. Seems hard to pronounce yet interesting and exotic? I don't think so. Qdoba is brought to you by the same people who own Jack in the Box. When I heard that I sort of wanted to turn around and walk out the door. The people here are friendly and the atmosphere is modern and clean. The only problem was that the food was just not very good. So this place is a total rip off of Chipotle. I know Chipotle is owned by Mc Donald's but it is a million times better than this place! The sauteed vegetables were uncooked, the meat wasn't seasoned well, and the rice was plain (I'm a huge fan of chipotle's lime cilantro rice). I know the closest chipotle is in Springfield but I would much rather go to El Charro for Mexican in Joplin instead! read more

First time coming to this Qdoba, I ordered a fully loaded steak burrito and chips with queso. So far best fast food burrito I have found yet. The manager made mine, added more than usually (not complaining but need practice on rolling a burrito). Way better than the other named brand place down the street. read more

I love eating here! Although last time, my chips were just COVERED in salt. Was gagging at every bite. I took my bowl of nachos up to the counter to let them know so that they could ditch the batch, but they just looked at me and wanted to know if I wanted some more chips... Food was good, prices are a lil steep, but it's quality food and the portions are big. It was my second time here ever and the girl at the start of the assembly line acted cold, impatient and irritated when I didn't answer her questions as fast as she was rattling them off. It's a little overwhelming if you aren't familiar with their procedures. The girls each got a little nicer as I moved down the assembly line . I'll eat here again but may come a different time of day so there might be different employees working. read more

It was my first time at this restaurant. My burrito was smaller than I expected- I'm used to a Chipotle sized burrito. I ordered a veggie burrito and right away I noticed the black beans were unseasoned which made the burrito kind of bland. I also ordered a side of tortilla soup which had no tortillas in it at all. I even asked if there was a tortilla topper or side of chips that came with the soup and the girls at the counter said no. On the website it shows tortillas on the soup. So yeah, I was disappointed. The service itself wasn't bad. There was a new girl there who overcharged us but when I brought it to their attention, they refunded it immediately. I probably won't eat here again. Not because it was awful, only because their competitor across the street does a better job. read more

The staff gets perturbed when you take a minute to decide what you want and want on it. They charge extra for chips and salsa where Moe's doesn't. The food is okay but for $9 a person they should give you more food. read more

My husband and I went to this Qdoba the other day for a quick lunch before work. We had low expectations, simply because we typically enjoy chipotle more, but he have never hated Qdoba, so we figured we would give it a shot. We walked in, and they were very busy, which is totally fine, they're a business. But, there were 6 people in line in front of us, and it took them at least 3 minutes to just ring up each individual person. The floors were sticky, the staff was rushing us, even though there was nobody behind us, the sides of the tables were sticky, and to top it all off, the food tasted awful. They gave us plenty, so it wasn't the portion that was the problem. The rice tasted like the minute rice you buy at Walmart, the queso was runny, the fajita veggies, were hardly cooked, and had way too much seasoning. I will not be returning to this place, because they disappointed the both of us greatly. This company has a long way to go before we will go back there again. read more
