He is friendly, attentive and stayed busy. I had the Big BLT and onion rings. 4 slices of bacon with garlic mayo on toasted, thick sliced white bread. Plenty to eat and fresh. Excellent sandwich. The onion rings were almost as good as Chicken Annie's. Deb had the Big Dipper and broccoli cheese soup. They both looked delicious and since she didn't have a leftover to take home, I would guess it tasted as good as it looked. There is also an interesting mix of options, chicken Philly's, bourbon sauce, etc., and really good fries. So what is different? They put things on their sandwich that no self-respecting Philly or even New York deli would ever do to a traditional sandwich. But so what? There are no rules, you can make whatever you want, and whatever people will buy. In their case, they add lettuce, mayo, tomato, and pickles and don't use that nasty cheese sauce that some cheesesteaks have on them. The meat is ok, I always order with extra meat. If I had one complaint it would be that most cheesesteaks are stuffed with chopped and well-seasoned meat. These are more like Steakum meat but still good in their own right. On the side, there are hot sauces, seasonings, parmesan cheese, and vinegar to put on your fries or sandwiches. The spinach artichoke dip came out and was very tasty so we had high hopes for our meals. When Kimmy brought the food out, she forgot my salad. We didn't have time to wait for another meal to be made for him, so we got her attention and let her know what had happened. She apologized and took it off the bill. We appreciated that, but we were frustrated because he didn't get to eat an entree. She put the credit card machine down on the table for us to pay. When my husband picked it up to leave the tip, it indicated that the machine had "timed out". We again, got Kimmy's attention and she said that it had already gone through with a tip. My husband explained that he didn't enter a tip and again, she said that was okay because it had already gone through (with the highest tip percentage selected). My husband told her that the experience didn't warrant the highest tip percentage in his opinion, but he was so frustrated that we just got up and left. Very disappointing to say the least.
