#The 10 piece Spicy Chicken Nuggets for $1.49 is a pretty good deal. I asked for the #Buffalo Sauce, the #Zesty Sauce and a fork to peel off the gum that I stepped in right outside Burger King. And the customer service here is amazing. The staff here is always super friendly and helpful. Often they bring the food to our table. The worst fast food place I've ever been to- and, sadly, I've been there 3 times. The wait is always crazy long after you order your food. I don't think anyone is in charge there. This first two times, my order was completely forgotten. I had to show my receipt and wait about ten minutes for a vanilla ice cream cone. This last time I was there, I waited forever for a whopper meal. They were calling out order numbers. The woman announced "90" but she really meant 80. #80 came to the counter after she called "90" a few times. He let her know that it was his meal she was calling and that his ticket actually says 80. Then she called "91" and the same thing happened to the person who was actually 81. This happened over and over until my number, 88 was called. The meal was given to me on a tray to stay even though I asked for it to go. When I let her know it was to-go, the woman took a bag, put the burger in, and than dumped the fries out of the cardboard holder on top. This Burger King is located right by the train station- so many people stop in to get quick food before they hop on the train. Since the food takes so long, there are a lot of walk outs. But they will wait and wait and call the order number over and over before they realize it. Ive seen this take 3 minutes. In the meantime, the rest of the orders (ice cream cones included) sit in the back because they will only give out one at a time. And then they will hand you the melted ice cream cone. When I had unsurprisingly failed Geometry in the 10th grade my mom would lend me her car to drive to summer school every day. Unbeknownst to her, at the end of every painful day of crunching numbers I would spend her hard earned gasoline at the Burger King drive thru. I would treat my failures to a newly introduced item called the "BK Stacker". The Stacker consisted of anywhere from one to four 1.7 oz beef patties, American cheese, bacon and a special thousand island variant called "Stacker sauce" served on a sesame seed bun. The new sandwich had a muted reaction in several reviews--Chowhound rated the Stacker as one of the most over-the-top gluttonous burgers. But if you ask me, I think whoever spent money to reserve the domain "chow hound" doesn't have the right to judge what I use for brain fuel. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Barry.... special sauce? Isn't that almost exactly the same thing as a Big Mac?" Nah dude, the sauce was much more tangy and slightly sweet. A beautiful balance against the already infamous flame broiled patty. Now please let me continue. Much like John Lennon had his lost weekend of drinking and drugs in Los Angeles in the summer of 1973, I too had myself a lost summer of simple mathematics and binging BK Stakers alone in my mothers 98' Chevy Malibu. With many of our beloved childhood shows returning to air, it's no secret that the world has a soft spot for nostalgia. I too am a victim of these feelings. If the world can enjoy the shenanigans and wit of Kimmy Gibler again. Why can't I enjoy a BK Stacker? I called and notified the manager Leslie regarding my order and she was very rude when I also told her that on top of my order being screwed up they made me reverse and i hit my car onto the poles reversing. I am to the point of no return !!! They need more professional staff especially the manager as she is definitely not great at customer service. Who cares about Burger King decor, so that's out of the question. And I know better than to use the bathroom at a fast food place, so I've never stepped foot in there either lol. I have a love/hate relationship with this Burger King. I love anything ice cream so I'm happy that there's a few ice cream choices. What I HATE is that they don't serve anything ice-cream except the Hershey Pies after 8:30; or that's what one of the people that work their told my boyfriend. Sometimes it's EXTREMELY busy, and you just might have to wait anywhere from 10-15minutes for food. But during that wait, you can have fun laughing at all the people that come in and act a fool, or laugh when gay manager BLUSHES and flirts with almost EVERY nice looking guy who orders. I kind of feel bad for anyone who doesn't know much Spanish or hasn't been around anyone Spanish ever in their life. The majority of the people that work here are Spanish and have VERY thick accents. The "night guard" can be a little intimidating at times, even if you're not the drama type... he just sits and stares! It's nice that they're now open 24 hours, but it sucks that you have to hear the employees complain about it while you're waiting for your food.
