We showed up an hour and a half before the game started and got the last table in the entire bar. If you know this place, you know it is huge. I knew it was a good option for watching the game, but I didn't realize everybody else knew too . Since my last visit years ago, they have switched to QR code orders -- unless you are sitting at the bar I'm guessing. As I said, the place was absolutely full, but there was never a long wait time between ordering and receiving food and drinks. They had a fun 20 wing platter for $25.99 with some unique flavors representing different countries... USA (Buffalo Garlic), Spain (pollo asado), South Korea (SPICY), and Mexico (Creamy Cilantro)... I think I got those right, but wow what a feast! Yeah, I didn't take a pic, I'm sorry lol. The cheapest cocktails were $6, but others ranged from $8-12, so not bad at all. Everyone had a great time and I forgot how fun it is. But my special someone is a 5 minute walk away, so I ought to be returning more regularly :). Oh, the only thing was that we had to ask for water and it wasn't brought otherwise. It was a hot day, and there were 6 of us, so we needed a lot of water haha. But a simple ask and it was brought out quickly. In my opinion, they should do it automatically though!

Food: not recommended Service: great…read moreAmbiance: great for after work drinks (margaritas were excellent) on a nice day. Proceed straight upstairs to the rooftop bar and patio. Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. This hip burger spot offers an extensive array of choices and combinations. The wait staff was not only helpful but also informative. The burger arrived promptly and unquestionably stood out as one of the finest bacon cheeseburgers available. Mine was loaded with red onions, lettuce, tomato, and their special "District" sauce. I also sampled the curly fries, affectionately referred to as sidewinders by the server, and found them to be crispy, hot, and delicious. The beer selection is noteworthy, featuring several drafts from New District Brewing, the local Arlington craft beer establishment. For those interested, large screen TVs broadcasting sports are mounted on the wall. Whether you prefer to dine in, have it delivered, or opt for takeout, the experience offers a really good burger at a reasonable price with prompt and efficient service. Best wishes! read more

We recently visited Burger District in Arlington for brunch, and it was an awesome experience! The place has such a cozy and clean interior, which made for a great dining atmosphere. We tried some brunch options, including the Mexican omelet and Eggs Benedict, which were deliciously well-prepared and full of flavor. The Mimosa Flight was also a fun addition to our meal, adding a refreshing twist to our brunch. We couldn't resist trying items off the dinner menu too, and the Chili Cheeseburger was a standout, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and satisfying! The onion rings were crisp and not overly greasy, and to top it all off, the Raspberry Shake was creamy and indulgent. Overall, a fantastic spot for both brunch and dinner. Hands down the best burgers in Arlington. I base that on 35 years of eating burgers in the area. So glad we found this place. We even introduced Burger District to our neighbors and friends. Ordering online and pick up delivery to our car is superb. The only negative is that the last two orders were missing the cole slaw side for which I paid $3.50 plus tax and tip each time. We were terribly disappointed upon arrival home, and next time we'll take everything out of the bag before driving off! I was surprised by how empty it was for a holiday evening, actually just as strange by how vacant and empty the whole area was. This used to be a very busy area. I started with a White Russian milkshake and it was quite good. Again, that happy hour pricing really made it worth it. My meal was the chicken and biscuits. Large biscuits, fresh, with a little honey and hot drizzle. The hash browns were a tad dry and didn't quite fit the meal I thought, but the chicken biscuits were good. Enjoyed those. BUT one point that was quite annoying: THE GRAVY COST EXTRA! The server tried to upsell me with the sausage gravy (+$3) but when I asked if that cost extra he demurred and said it was just something they asked. He wouldn't actually confirm that. Not cool. I don't like being upsold like it's McDonalds. Eating off my friend's plate I also liked the french fries that came with his steak and cheese sandwich. We also had the cornbread appetizer. Again, if not for that happy hour pricing.. Cornbread is uber cheap so getting four fingers of cornbread felt.. well.. not quite a value match. Service was a little hit or miss. We had a lot of people helping us it seemed, kind of a divided table. Everything is there but I'm just not used to the inflation pricing. Milkshake, cornbread, and the chicken and biscuits, with 20% tip, came out to over $40. This kind of food, at this level of service, .. I feel like I was overcharged or not given the happy hour pricing on something. This just didn't feel like $40 for one person. And they want to do everything on the machine and you don't actually get a paper receipt or a bill unless you ask for one. Which you should. I guess bottom line: Ted's is expensive for it's class and offerings, so it makes a good date spot, but for regular eating out I think there are places better priced.

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

Everything here is truly cooked to order unlike those other restaurants that pop everything in the microwave or have it already made and just reheat it for you. Everything was flavorful but I will say for me, the medium wasn't that spicy and the chicken itself didn't have any sauce aside from the condiments added at the end, but I would definitely go again and try something spicier. I will say that the person taking my order told me the junior sandwich was pretty big which is why I opted to get that one instead of the regular sandwich and in theory if you get it with a drink and eat a whole side of french fries it would be enough but I just wanted the sandwich and I was splitting fries so I was actually still hungry even after having my small sandwich, but it gave me space for ice cream later There are a few tables in the actual restaurant and chairs along the walls but you're lucky if you get a table at this place because it's so packed but also so delicious. I'm not sure if I met the manager or the owner but they're so kind. There was a little boy crying and they came out and brought him some toys to play with. This is truly our neighborhood gem and while I know there are others in the DMV, from what I hear this one is one of the best so check them out.

Let's talk about Anita's! I used to live in the Southwest, right on the Arizona and New Mexico…read moreline. As a result, I was very excited to try Anita's, considering she specialized in New Mexican cuisine. The service was okay. The person at the counter did not greet or speak when I walked in to pick up my order. I ordered a bacon and egg burrito with red chile. When I opened up the burrito, it was the size of a hot pocket. Now, the red chile was weak. No flavor, spark, spice, nothing. It tasted like tomato sauce. The flavors were very mediocre and basic. New Mexico is known for their smoky and spicy + flavorful red and green chile! Those key culinary elements of that region were missing here. From the size, to the lack of flavor, the experience was okay. I will try other menu items at Anita's, I am hoping that the next time is better.
