I don't understand the positive reviews at all. My group went in on a Friday night that would have been busy for any other burger joint but there was only one other seated table at the entire restaurant. This place is always empty and it's obvious why The burger patties have very little in terms of a crust, just a generic slab of meat with very little flavor. They really come off like cheap pre-made patties. My burger had a big chunk of the tough part of the lettuce that made the burger really unbalanced. I see people referring to this as a good value but the burgers cost $16 and they charge you an extra $5 for a side (including fries). It would cost me $16 to get a way better burger that comes with a side from Rhodeside, All About Burger would give me a better burger for $9 and at dinner time I'd be able to get a full combo for $10. Lyon Hall, which is a much fancier place, charges you $20 for a burger and fries. This is one of the more expensive burgers you can get here and they seem to actually be the most expensive place in the area to actually get a burger and fries. I ordered a side caesar salad and it was really bad. The cheese tasted like something out of a bag, the croutons were by no exaggeration the worst and most boring croutons I've ever had. Also, the dressing was given on the side, when I eat in at a restaurant I don't expect to dress my own salad and it gave me more of an impression that the food comes in premade. One member of the party got the spicy cheese curds which just seemed like small (not very good) mozzarella sticks. This place tries to be everything and has no identity because of it. They are going for a country sports bar vibe and they're named "burger district" yet they have a wine menu. They have a bunch of random wraps, appetizers, fish and chips, even waffles and spaghetti (for kids) on their menu! I count 15 different types of burgers +3 types of smash burgers. There are 6 kinds of salads. They desperately need to shrink the menu and find a few things to do well. read more

Craving a burger and not feeling like paying the high prices of some of the boutique burger places? Burger district is exactly the place for you. Simple, yet right on the money my blue cheese burger was cooking perfectly and ready to go as soon as I arrived. The restaurant itself was very spacious and comfortable, and had ample seats for larger parties (I think they even do trivia!). I really appreciated that for my to-go order, the kitchen did not place the cheese on the fries but instead left it in a separate container that maintained its heat and prevented unnecessary sogginess. It was not busy which surprises me because it is so good. Lots of TVs all on different channels. I got the cheeseburger with blue cheese, extra lettuce, and done medium. My friend also got a burger. We also ordered the cheesesteak (without peppers) out of curiosity. The burger was nearly perfect (cheese wasn't evenly distributed). It had a lot of meat and cheese and lettuce. Burger District was a surprisingly good experience. On my first dine-in visit, I didn't know what to expect as the restaurant and bar was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Accompanied by a group of 6, the customer service was good and so was the food. I enjoyed the fish sandwich, crab cake sandwich, burgers, and fish and chips. They were all cooked well. What I like most about this bar is there seems to be just as much investment put into the food menu as the bar menu. Some high-performing bars neglect the menu, but this place has mid a good balance of mid-scale menu items and quality. The dining room seating is spacious and comfortable as some of the seating is bench-style. I'm wondering if there is new ownership. I see a "business owner" replied to a previous comment. I did order out each time. Anyways, been going here for maybe 6 years. Turkey burger has always been the best in Arlington as well as their sweet potato fries. Over the last month or so I've ordered a "turkey burger wrap" and it looks more like beef than turkey. So I decided to try the standard "Turkey Burger" and it looks completely different than previous turkey burgers I've gotten there. I'm guessing it's more ground turkey, but it does look more like a beef patty. Clarification would be helpful. If it's not turkey then maybe take the option off the menu. The place was kinda empty but a vibe. The menu has a wide selection and of course known for their burgers. I would've gotten a vegan burger but What I actually wanted would've been way too pricey after I added the toppings and just wasn't worth spending too much money when I just wanted something simple and quick. FRIED CATFISH STRIPS This was in a beer batter and extra crispy how I like it. It was good and came with a lot, it also came with a sauce but I wasn't a fan. I use ketchup as my dipping and just wish they had hot sauce. Definitely seasoned and decent sized strips. CHEESE FRIES This was good just not great IMO, it came with a great amount of fries which I couldn't consume it all. If they only had steak fries would definitely been better. Don't believe prices on menu. Here is another one that helps themselves to a hefty surcharge ("order fee") on your order, for.... well, the privilege of ordering there I guess. They do not tell you about this until your are paying. Despite what I am reading here about reasonable prices, they are not low to begin with. By the time you go through all this, you are paying more than $15 for a burger. The half pound burger is fair. I suppose you could walk in and wait. Or is there a fee for that too? I found a spot to park about a block away. I was lucky. The restaurant is in the shade of a huge building going up. I almost missed the sign. I go in and the place is empty. I figured chilly rainy day is a good day for a burger and a brew. Ok. I grab a seat at the bar and order a white claw, watermelon flavor. The menu is QR code ( I still like the regular paper menu). I peruse the burgers and order the bacon cheeseburger without tomato. French fries for a side. There are a couple TVs behind the bar which is a nice touch. After a few the burger comes out with the french fries. It's hot and tasty, fries are crispy and good. Bacon is crisp and cheese is melted, even the bun is fresh. The only gripe is the service. Yelp for the win--again. All the good reviews had us coming here and we were seated immediately. Our food came out quickly--hot and delicious. Free WiFi. Super friendly staff. The vibe was cool. Bathroom was clean. My husband had the catfish and fries. He said it was crispy and well seasoned and he demolished it. He also ordered the red velvet cake (forgot to take a pic)--looks almost like a cupcake, so don't expect a hunk of a slice--but so yummy. He also had the large IPA and he enjoyed that too. I came here on a Thursday night and the place was completely empty but I do not know why. They had happy hour until 7pm where their beers and wine were $5 and you are just not beating that price anywhere nearby. Ordered for pickup so I can only comment on the food itself, which was pretty good. I got the BD's Signature Burger, which really satisfied my craving for a burger that day. Tip: if you get this burger, no need to add more sauce- it already comes with mustard and mayo. I added their District Sauce and that made the burger a bit messy. Fries were good and crispy too- I recommend getting the wedges, they were good. For the price of the burger itself, I'd say I could get a burger from Five Guys or even McDonalds and be just as satisfied, but I'd like to go back to experience the atmosphere of the restaurant because it seems to be a nice place to enjoy a meal. read more

This may be thought of as having a meaty menu, but they have vegan burgers too. Lots of beer on tap so we got some from local breweries. The beer is usually about $6 for a pint. Get the local choices to make it feel more like it's worth that much. The food was the star though. A Vegan Burger is a meat free alternative. It's about $13 for a burger, and that doesn't include anything like fries. The price is kind of high but it's typical for this kind of food around here. It also has a kickass atmosphere. Was craving a good burger so wanted to see if this place was any good. It was really empty on a Sunday evening so I was happy about that. I got fried pickles as an appetizer - pretty standard although it was a lot more friedness compared to the one thin slide of pickle that's inside. We also got onion rings too and those were standard as well. But we came here for the burgers and they did not disappoint. I got the Au Poivre burger and it was DELICIOUS. I loved the addition of crunchy peppercorn in the burger that gave it a peppery taste. The caramelized onions were wet with grease but had a great taste to them, with a small burnt taste to them. The garlic and sauce added a lot of flavour to the burger as well; the meat was thick and delicious. I was very impressed by how great the burger was. I have to go again for the other burgers. The service was decent, especially since we were the only ones there at one point. Although, something seemed up with the AC so they had the plug in fans which I was confused about but it helped. The food here is great, tho a bit pricey - damn inflation. We were missing something from our pick-up order and the manger was extremely accommodating, so A++ for that. We tried their bacon cheese burgers with their homemade curly fries. Everything was delicious, especially the their fries. We also tried their house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, which didn't taste good at all because of the dressing. I recommend choosing another dressing or using your own at home.
