Went on weekday morning after the breakfast "rush" subsided. Only two tables were occupied, including the porch area. Server yelled from the other room she was waiting to bring out food for one of the tables and we would have to wait. After 15 minutes we left without having our order yet taken. I decided to try Burger Burger for the first time. How could you go wrong with a name like that if you want a burger. It had been in business for years. I ordered a Cheeseburger Poboy with Onion Rings to go. I got home and was looking forward to the first bite. Ugh....the French bread was delicious but the burger was terrible. I opened the bread and they had first off divided one burger for the whole poboy; secondly, the burger itself was so dry and full of bread that it had no taste. I actually took the burger off the bread and finished eating the bread with the lettuce, tomato, pickle & condiments. The onion rings had a good taste but the batter fell off the onion ring as soon as I bit into it. I was very disappointed in this restaurant. The service was hometown friendly, the coffee was good (coming from a non-coffee guy), and the burger had a home cooked feel to it. Unfortunately my seafood gumbo was cold and had a gritty feel to it. The sweet potato fries were very crispy but all in all I would say it was an average experience. This place is awesome. I had the jalapeño cheddar burger and my boyfriend had the classic burger burger. The burger burger isn't my cup of tea but he loved it and I loved the one I got. We ended up here on accident. Food was ok. We both had Shrimp PO-boy it was lacking in shrimp. Service was slow. Took awhile for someone to acknowledge we were there even though there were many people around. The waitress checked once on us and the bill took forever to get. Just got my weekly fix of seafood gumbo and as always, not disappointed!! You will not find Seafood Gumbo, better then at Burger Burger! Today I also got the Muffuletta and all I'll say is, my oh my how delicious, the best I've ever had. If you want some good local food you must go to Burger Burger. The owner and staff are some of the friendliest people I've met. Make you fill like you have known them forever. The price of the food is very very reasonable!! Don't let the name misguide you. The breakfast here is GREAT GREAT. Probably the BEST grits I've ever had. We had ordered them as a side because I had to have the Cajun Hash. What a fantastic creation, I was set for the day! They only serve breakfast and lunch here. We had the opportunity to be within earshot when the chef/main cook was determining his specials along with his servers. They collaborated on what was good that day and decided together on the pricing. He then turned to me and asked how I liked my Cajun Hash. I said it was fantastic and said how great the grits were. Our server said that the lady in the kitchen makes it and that she uses a key ingredient to make them so good. Our service overall was really friendly as we sat up at the counter and enjoyed the food and watching the operation. A lot of history around which our server shared. They are open from 7-3, and serve breakfast and lunch. We went in for a burger. It is 1/2 lb of beef, and cooked very well done leaning on the burnt side. The fries were good, although not many of them. Tea and service was excellent. I'm sure there are probably others things in the menu that might have been better, but when you name your place after a burger I kind of expect it to be your best, and the one I got wasn't. read more

I had the worst hamburger I've ever eaten here. You would think it would be a signature dish. I had a cheeseburger poboy dressed for take out, which had one burger patty cut I half for the whole sandwich and even worse, it was very dry and was mostly bread. I don't know about burgers but I had a freakin' stellar breakfast here at the Burger Burger. Ordered a breakfast plate that came with grits, sausage and eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection and I couldn't have asked for a more precise replica of what I had hoped to have for breakfast. Most delicious was the sausage. This sausage must have crack in it because after every bite I was jonesing for more. When my mom pried a bite of one out of my hand she loved it so much she had to order a side for herself. I'm telling you. Go here. get sausage. and live your life the right way. You have to trust me!!! Oh god, I need a sausage fix. read more

This is a family run restaurant and they were very friendly. They visited with us and recommended places for us to see and try. My husband and I both ordered a regular hamburger/cheeseburger with fries and my son order a bowl of mac and cheese. All three of the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend this place. Delicious burgers and friendly service. French fries and onion rings are outstanding too. Our newly met acquaintances from Britain compared the fries favorably to their "chips" in the UK. This is a comfortable local restaurant with loads of character including a large porch for outdoor dining. Many thanks to the owner who encouraged us to hang out on the porch after closing and continue to chat with our new friends. Oh. My. Lord. By far the best burgers we've ever eaten. The meat is seasoned so perfectly and it is so juicy. The fries are crispy and delicious and the staff is unbelievably sweet (so much so that we left a 100% tip. THAT GOOD) I believe our server said her name was Inga but I'm not entirely sure. Now here is one of my favorite lunch spots in Biloxi. And by the name you know what is the best thing on the menu, although I have tried several of their lunch specials and am never disappointed. Their parking lot is small and if you go at lunch it will be packed so best to hit it about 11:45 or 1:00 pm. Decided to try some place I haven't. Tried the legendary burger burger (whole poboy). The disappointment eclipsed the reputation of the sandwich. They wasted 18"s of bread on meat that could have fit on a standard hamburger bun. It also had less flavor than a glass of water. The young lady who waited on us gets 4 stars. Tried this place because were were told they have a good crab cake special...unfortunately for us, we went on the wrong day of the week. Still in the mood for seafood I tried the catfish basket. It was well seasoned, hot and fresh! We also beat the lunch time rush so the service was pretty quick. This place was a gem. You won't know that by just driving by! Take the time to look around at the stuff on the walls. There are pictures of the history of Howard Ave along with pictures before Katrina. The owner was there when we came in, we took the time to talk to her and she is an interesting person who has had experiences that are amazing. The history of her family is on the wall also along with stories about Burger Burger. Now to the food, wonderful! We had breakfast and will be going back soon for lunch. The portions are good. The blueberry pancakes were better than any I have had in Biloxi. Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff there are very pleasant. Of course I had to try the Burger Burger and boy was it an experience. They put some kind of chili on the burger and let's just say I went through a lot of napkins! It was one of those things I probably won't ever order again but I would say if you go, order the Burger Burger simply so you can say you had one. The restaurant itself is housed in an older style house and the walls are covered in historical photos and also photos of the owner and the various celebrities that she has met through the years. Seems like this is a local favorite. I had their burger burger which is their special dish. Basically it is a burger on french bread with mustard and a chili sauce. I say chili sauce because it tastes like chili without the meat and beans. The burger was good but not good enough that I would go out of my way to buy. I would come back in the future to try another menu item but not the burger burger. Their fries are double fried. If you know what that means and like that type of fry that's OK but I prefer once fried fries which are lighter and fresher. Double fried fries tend to be much more crunchy but they also are greasy which is not something I like. When you fry something once the water in the item turns into steam which keeps out the oil. If you fry it twice that water is already gone allowing the oil to seep into the food. read more

Well I liked it more the first time I was here. As a creature of habit I ordered the same Philly steak and fries. I will say that was a year ago. I had an hour and I know it is not a fast grab. No biggie. I sat at the bar and chatted with another guy waiting on his order. They were packed and super busy and very nice. I left after a pretty good wait food in bag and yes I got ketchup this time around. So I opened my box a few minutes later and the first thing I notice was the fries. Seriously looking awful. Some of them were downright near burned and the ones that were not so unattractive were flavorless. It would be no effort to throw something on them. That was really disappointing. Here's where it gets worse. The sandwich tasted good- definitely on the greasy side but it had so little meat and only a few peppers and onions it was just too much bread. The meal is only a bit over $10 and that's pretty typical but I started thinking of some of the other places I have been to around $10 and it just doesn't even compare. For example Monster sub has an enormous amount of meat as does Cafe Maspero in NOLA- check out the pics I took of theirs-for less then $10. I just don't want to eat a sandwich that feels like too little meat, all bread. And to top it off fries that I couldn't eat. Sad to say I am positive I won't be back. I love Mom and Pop places but there is just too many places I haven't been to that I need to check out and having a disappointing lunch during a mind fogging day of work training just killed Burger Burger for me. read more

Waitress are awesome !!! Food was wonderful. The burger was a gift from the god Zeus and zena warrior princess was jealous of the waitresses! Also the burger has brought attention from the mermaids in the back bay. And if you know anything about them , they are pretty snobby. I just hope Felix the dragon doesn't show up. Loved it! The restaurant is in a neat little house. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The two waitresses working were very accommodating and hospitable. Food came out quickly. My wife and I had the 18" burger burger and the disco fries. Both were good calls. The disco fries were amazing. We'll definitely return when we are back this way. read more

OK where do I start... let me start off by saying I would have given this place 5 stars until I found butcher paper in my burger cooked within the meat... it is a supper qt old bldg and the inside is nice for a burger place we shared a huge burger wich was really almost enough for 4 people... we got an order of their house fries which was amazing... the service was fast and great and our burger was wonderful until I found that paper cooked into my meat.. everyone had told us about this place and raved about it and I would have agreed but I can't help but to think they don't prep the food right it seems that they are careless and makes me question the condition of their kitchen read more

After hearing my coworker absolutely rave about this place, I decided to give it a try. I searched online for a menu before going and couldn't find one...bummer. I arrived and seated myself. I saw a few familiar faces so I figured that, yeah, it MUST be good. After receiving my menu, I was disappointed after not seeing any offerings for a turkey burger. With a name like 'Burger Burger', one would expect there to be variety, right? Bummer...for a non-beef eater like myself. I opted for the shrimp and fries. My fries were cold and I had to ask for another basket and the shrimp were the small salad type shrimp. Bummer. As much as I wanted to like this place, I just couldn't.
