You know what is very good? Cheeseburgers. Cheeseburgers are very good. And these specific cheeseburgers are, in fact, incredible. Like idk you show up to the kinda-tacky burger jawn in the strip mall and you expect something reasonable, but this legit blew me away. Meat was cooked to temp, juicy, well topped, well seasoned, sesame seed bun, the whole deal. Also, fries are both crispy and properly salted! Lettuce wraps if yr stressing carbs, shakes if you are into that sort of thing, and a looooooot of beers at a reasonable price. This might be the best burgers that I've eaten in my entire life. It was cooked to perfection, extremely delicious and flavorful and stacked high with all the fixings. We ordered our burgers medium rare and they were cooked perfectly. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were also delicious. I wish we discovered this restaurant years ago. While my parents enjoyed their food, I on the other hand did not as much. My stepdad got a burger and he loved it, my mom ordered wings that she never got, and chicken strips that she thought were delish. My hot dog first off was burnt on one end (yes I know that's how they are usually cooked but mine was super burnt), and instead of getting a regular hot dog bun, it came with a sourdough roll used for sandwiches? The combo was overall not that appetizing, and even though the meat itself was very thick, I can't recommend it for anyone to get. The fries were normal fries I've always gotten any other place. Overall I'd try it again if I had to, but it would not be my go to place to go to. I'd probably try a burger if I would try the place again. read more

Best burger in Pacifica by far. I like the very large grass fed beef burgers and the fresh tasting veggies. They over-do the mayo just a bit and the buns tend to be too large for my liking, but good tasting. The fries are good although I have had a couple orders come to me undercooked. Speaking of undercooked, the large patties require some cooking skill or at least experience as I have received meat that looked undercooked enough for me to take out the patty and cook it a bit more myself, even though I ordered medium. Don't want to hammer this point too much as the taste is awesome. The first time I ate here, I jumped to my favorite, the Chili-burger. The burger was great, the chili was good but I was a little disappointed with the american tasting cheese when I was expecting cheddar. My apologies if it was indeed cheddar, but it really tasted like velveeta (same with the chili-fries). If you like that taste texture, you will really enjoy these items. I think the addition of some fresh onion on request would be a great add. Their chicken wings are superior and meaty. You can get them in sauce, but we like to get them dry and get the sauce for dipping. The BBQ and lemon pepper rub versions are really good. Lastely, if you go through door dash for delivery, make sure you order the wings 5 at a time as their menu screws up the 20 wing order by forcing to choose 3 different sauces even if you want one type. Honestly the McDonald's across the street, which I've given a five star review to, has better tasting meat. My burgers literally came with meat and bun, no onions, no lettuce (I did steal some from my salad), no pickles, nothing but meat on a dry bun. Did I make a world class mistake by ordering from the kids menu? I told the kid that I was ordering it for myself, asked that was okay to order from the kids menu since I wasn't hungry enough for an adult burger, and it was for here with a beer. There was no doubt that I wanted it to taste like an adult burger. Yeah, that sounds strange, but anyway. If they feed our kids the leftover slop, he could have told me that (though I do have kids and wouldn't want them to have a bad customer experience either even on the off chance that I'm having a good one in the same meal). With 5-star Soul Grind and 5-star Devil's Slide Tap Room and 4-5 Star Mexican sit down cuisine in the same 8 store-front strip mall, I don't have a bunch of hope for seeing this burger joint surviving it's first year. The kid who took my order was perfectly fine though not super enthusiastic (perhaps because he gets free underwhelming meals). I don't think I got any kind of illnesses (though thinking about it, I didn't ask if the lettuce in the wilted salad was romaine and there is an outbreak right now, ooops). Overall = Meh. I didn't think they could have a location like that and be bad.. it was literally the worst food anyone has ever put in front of me. I was really wondering what I said or did to piss them off? The oil for the fries must have been weeks old. The burger they gave me had something bizarre instead of bacon. I wouldn't have been able to identify it if I didn't already know it was supposed to be bacon. It definitely wasn't edible. Burger was definitely frozen, wich i wouldn't mind actually, if it werent so dry. I can't believe people could keep coming back here. Update; My boyfriend and I ordered on doordash the other day and when our food arrived everything looked great until I took a huge bite of my burger to realize the patty was completely RAW. Not rare, uncooked entirely. I had specified medium rare on my order. I called immediately and was basically told "oh no, should I let my manager know?" My boyfriend ended up going in person to show them and had a replacement burger made but it was so dry I could barely eat it. Really don't know what was up with that but for how expensive these burgers are it's pretty disappointing. The food was amazing. Huge portions, amazing flavors. I'd definitely recommend trying them out. My only complaints however are about the two girls working that day. Both seemed annoyed by customers and were sitting on their cell phones the whole time. One girl was even talking on her cell phone and made a customer wait. I also watched one of the girls go to dump a tray in the garbage and fries spilled on the floor..she just walked away like she didn't see it and they ended up getting trampled by other employees and for the 30min we were there they never got cleaned up. It wasn't exactly busy so I'm not sure what that was about. I am however giving the benefit of the doubt that they are still new and kinks happen. First I want to say I love the food. It's very delicious. This review isn't about the food, it's about the staff. I went there a week ago to pick up an online order. When I walked up I was very disappointed at the staff not following their own policy. The gentleman at the counter was not wearing a mask, the cook in the back came up front and was not wearing a mask, the only one wearing a mask was the young lady at the register. They didn't even enforce their own mask policy on customers. 2 customers were in there talking to the gentleman at the counter and neither had a mask. This made me so weary that I didn't eat the food I paid for. It shows a disrespect to their customers well being. These are trying times and it's upsetting not to see places like this take it seriously. It clearly says on the front door, masks are required. Need to follow their own rule read more

Hey there ordered from there today. Well the burgers were cooked to order the allergen items were put on the wrong burger. The person that didn't want any mayo got tons on the burger. Side items were a couple dollars extra for garlic fries. We received cold fries that someone apparently forgot to salt at all and not a bit of garlic anywhere. Yeah I was charge for this. Ordered a nor cal burger, 5 buffalo wings with ranch, and sweet potato fries. I took the order to go and my wife and I split it. It was plenty of food for the two of us, and overall we both thought it was really good. The burger had a really nice char-broiled taste to it, and there was lots of cheese, bacon, onions and avocado. The buffalo sauce on the wings was nice and spicy but not too hot. The ranch was good as well. The sweet potato fries had a nice flavor but they were a little bit soft. We'll definitely be going back. So glad we have another good food option in Pacifica! read more

I ordered a lava burger, garlic fries, and some chicken tenders. The lava burger was great and it really fills you up. Unfortunately that was really the only thing going for them. The garlic fries tasted bland with hints of garlic and nothing more. The fries were tasteless and I had to put some salt on there just to make it taste better. The chicken tenders were also pretty bland, the breading on the chicken is pretty thick so it's hard to chew. Lastly, the service wasn't so great. Even during covid-19 they somehow gave away my order to someone and I had to wait 15minutes on top of the initial 30minute wait. I sat there and watched as customers that came after me get their food and leaving. Sadly to say, this experience will prevent me from revisiting this place. read more

I have grabbed a quick bite here twice now for a meal on the beach and it was perfect. Had a western burger and NorCal burger. They loaded me up with fries. Amount of food is worth the price. Burgers are large, and the patties are a good thickness/weight unlike the lettuce thin stuff in n out is doing these days. They have lots of alternative options too for red meat and a decent amount of taps for beer. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner on the beach. Perfect place to grab something to eat between morning and evening surf sessions. But please try not to slop water around in there in your wetsuit! Just tried this place & we really liked it. The atmosphere is cute with the surfboard tables & floor paintings. It was also clean, which is a big plus with me. The guy at the cash register was nice & helpful. I don't eat red meat, so I asked if I could exchange any burger on their menu with a turkey burger (even though they have a turkey burger on the menu), and I was told yes. That's another big plus! I had the Lava Burger & it was very tasty, with the right amount of "heat" with the jalapenos & pepper jack cheese (I like spicy food & this wasn't too spicy). Spouse had the "Mini Burgers" off the kid's menu & these are NOT mini! She felt that just one of the mini burgers was plenty for even most adults! Even the sides are HUGE. I had onion rings & the basket was more than enough for two of us. They were good. Spouse had the side salad, which was also huge, enough for 2 people. Salad wasn't anything special. We thought the sides might be small, so also ordered fries (mostly to try them out), and again, that was a huge amount of fries. Fries were OK, nothing special. We were stuffed, so ended up giving our fries to a guy at a nearby table. Prices are fair. Location is great. We'll most definitely be back.
