I don't even know where to start. Customer service is simple but over-the-top. The menu has just enough selection so that it's easy to order and you're not overwhelmed, the flavor of the food is fantastic and will keep you coming back, oh, and the location you won't beat that or find a better one anywhere. Clean inside and out which is crazy since it's basically on the beach but amazing nonetheless. The locals chill'n out front are the kindest and most respectful you'll ever come across. I will not ever order anything for take away or delivery again. I tried twice and was saddened to have the same result each time. I've eaten at the restaurant and have been more than satisfied. However, the 2 times I have ordered for delivery, my burger is cooked to the wrong temperature and ingredients/toppings are missing or incorrect. I think that Burger Board does not care about the integrity of the product that is being delivered. I also think that the customer service issues lie with the delivery apps. I unfortunately have no idea how or if Burger Board would have rectified my issue. Based on the food I received, however, I do not have much faith that anyone there cares about customer satisfaction. read more

Non existent help bussing tables an bringing out orders. The two medium done burgers came out perfectly done. The rare one came more done than the medium. It happens I get it. But still ate it because you never send anything back to the cook. The jalapeño burger lacked heat , the peppers were pickled. It would have been nice to have fresh peppers they were roasted. Nice local burger spot in the plaza by the beach. I visited for the first time on a weekday evening with a couple of my cousins to catch up over a meal. The small location is eye catching and well-lit, which was good as it was getting quite dark as we were arriving. During the winter, it can get very cold out, so I was hoping there were seats available inside, but all the tables were occupied. It is very limited seating inside -- a couple small tables and one medium sized communal table. We ended up having to sit outside, there are a couple tables just outside the establishment. Thankfully we were bundled up for the cold! -- Service -- The employee taking our orders was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, and he was even kind enough to bring our orders outside to our table, asking if we wanted extra ketchup, mustard, napkins, etc. -- Food -- I ordered the Hang-Loose Burger, which had grilled pineapple, swiss cheese, and teriyaki sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh, hot, juicy, and sweet. The pineapple and teriyaki sauce really made it sweet and delicious, and the cheese pull was fantastic! Added curly fries on the side with extra ketchup as the perfect salty addition to this burger. There are so many interesting and unique options here, I'll have to try more next time. Portion was quite large, good for the price you're paying. I was not super hungry at the time, so I only ate half. Took the rest home and reheated it a few hours later -- and there was a noticeable decrease in the flavor and quality. I would definitely recommend arriving hungry, and finishing it all while its fresh and delicious! 4/5 stars -- Great food and service, just wish there was more indoor seating! read more

I was honestly surprised it was that big and piled high with onion rings! Usually you get like 1 maybe 2 tiny onion rings on a burger like this but I got a few big ones. The melty cheese and the Smokey bbq sauce really pulled everything together. Not to mention the bun was a nice soft sesame bun. We walk the Pacifica Beach Shoreline often and shop at the Grocery Outlet nearby, so we started to notice that the Burger-Board had quite the crowd both inside and outside in the late afternoon each time. So we decided to give them a try one day when we did not want to cook at home. Burger Board has a variety of Burgers, Sandwiches, Wings, Hot Dogs, Fries and onion Rings. They also have a pretty decent craft beer selection, score. Burgers are between $15-18 depending on the toppings, but come with your choice of fries or onion rings. They also have a chicken sandwich, which my boyfriend has ordered a couple of times. Our kid always has a good time here, she loves fries, people watching and fun places. Located off Highway 1 on the Linda Mar Beach, this chill little surfing themed burger joint packs a solid punch with big, juicy beef paddies, crispy fries, and a handful of beers on tap. I got the Wiped-Out burger, which is a cheeseburger with a fried egg and bacon. I was surprised by how fat and the paddy was, it's a lot of burger to handle and even for a fairly large person like myself, it was hard to finish due to its size. Luckily I didn't have too much trouble getting it all down because it's quite delicious. By default the beef's cooked medium, but you can specify with the person at the register if you prefer your burgers cooked a different way. The optional fries were also very good: crispy, plentiful, and flavorful. The spot itself is fairly small so on a nice day at the beach both the interior seating area and the parking lot can get pretty packed, but during the week and even at off peak hours on weekends it's a pretty relaxed and accessible restaurant. All burgers come with a 1/2 lb burger patty and regular fries, and it's made with niman-ranch beef. For $14 ($17 after tax n tip) i got a cheeseburger and fries that left me hella full. The burger patty itself was juicy and flavorful, it just needed a lil bit more char for my liking. The fries were crispy, salty, and standard. Tasty burger. I dunno why but I'd classify this as a quintessential beach burger. For some reason whenever I eat a burger by the beach, they taste very similar, which isn't a bad thing. The burger is huge 1/2 lb and it actually comes with fries! No need to pay extra and they give you so much that you could probably share it with another person. So $16-18 is not the worst. Burger is juicy and delicious. Its a small place with some TVs to watch sports. Its right next to Linda Mar Beach so its a great option afterwards. Like the local feel to it. The only issue is I don't think they have a heater, they leave the door open, and you can feel the cold ocean breeze inside. Friendly and affordable place to hangout after the beach with people from the neighborhood. I got a blue cheese burger side of regular fries and some chicken strips. The burger is tasty, nice size patty but a little messy to eat. Probably due to the bun who get soaked very quickly. The fries wasn't my favorite, they have been fry too many time in the row. Also it was probably time for them to change the oil because I had an after taste of bad oil in my mouth. The chicken strips was crunchy outside and tender in the middle. However I did eat a couple of them and after that I had to take the crust out because the oil was too much on it. Waited, took them home, bit into one and holy crap, lemon pepper sludge like up to 1/4" thick, no joke. Tried to scrape it off with a spoon and even then, just disgusting. The wings were literally sour from the lemon, like my lips are still a little jacked and I only ate 4 wings (the hubby stopped at 2). The wings seemed overcooked also which I can usually forgive for a crispy wing but this was just nasty and all the sludge took away and crispiness. Gross, cmon BurgerBoard, seasoning wings properly isn't THAT hard. A local staple in Pacifica I grew up too love, a insanely good location with free parking, the food has always been a hit for me, I have never ate one of there burgers but have seen many from customers as I walk in and always look amazing, a little small but gets the job done with the seats and outdoor seating. I really hate writing bad reviews but this business sucks I'm sorry. First time I went here over a year ago I waited forever for my burger just to get a big soggy mess. The bun fell apart as I tried to hold it together. Second time I went (yesterday) I was really craving burgers and thought maybe they just made a mistake the last time. Especially after looking at the pictures and reviews we figured why not give them another chance. The place smelled strongly of bleach. We received our burgers quickly but what we got were some extremely soggy/messy burgers with too much mayo and fries that tasted stale. The meat was also pretty rare when we ordered medium well. Anyways don't go here lol I know Pacifica is lacking in the burger department but this place is absolutely not the solution. read more
