I LOVED THE FRIES. Yes, some burgers fall apart. We were a party of 4 there is minimal seating but this place is a hole in the wall with a good bite. I was reading the reviews and I will just say, my whole party enjoyed their food and this experience. The cashier was nice and he bombed my photo but it came out nice! Brand new burger place in Pacifica! I have to admit I have been looking forward to the day the Burger-Board doors opened. Today, August 30th is the Day! One of the things I like best about a burger joint is a place that cooks their meat on FLAME. Burger-Board does does just that by making a chargrilled burger. So in I had to come to try it out. A menu item house branded Burger-Board from the top of the list with a couple of additions. I asked for carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, extra toasted bun, bacon, and a 1/2 pound patty cooked to a solid medium, and of course the works for the rest of the toppings. They got it mostly right but missed adding in the bacon, And the onions were only grilled, not carmelized. Still, I liked what came out. The meat was tasty, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium. The veggies were fresh. Tomato and pickle flavors fit well the burger. Even with the amount of mayo and juices on the bun it survived until it met it's end in my belly. It was served along with a choice of sides. Today I chose the French Fries and the choice turned out to be the right one. Solid thick and long burger sized fries. Cooked to perfection. I could come here and order just the fries and a drink and be happy. Also had a Coke to go with the burger. It's a good Coke out of a fountain. Tastes just right. Served in a large branded cup. You're not walking away from here thirsty. On the whole I would say no single person will leave hungry. Two people could probably split a burger and still leave satisfied. Inside Burger-Board the theme is totally great beach shack appearance. Pacifica Pedro Point hand painted mural on one wall. Buger dude mural on the other wall. Surf, sand, sea life, and feet prints mural on the floor shows you the ways to the counter. Surfboards tables to enjoy your meal. A few TVs on the wall for sports and other things. Outside they made the right decision to keep the tables and chairs. Great to bring the family dogs and hang out with a Hill side Pedro Point Headlands view in the temperate Pacifica weather. One the points I look at in a place is the bathroom. Burger-Board carried on the surf side theme into the bathroom too. One of the cutest on the coastline. Obviously super clean sine this place is new. You can send your kids back without a worry. There is more stuff on the Burger-Board menu I will be back to try. Including Shakes, Floats, hot dogs, and beer. Looking forward to the next visit. read more

The first time we went, we were happy with the burgers. Pricey but good. The guy behind the counter seemed bothered he had to help and didn't properly wear his mask. Second time, they messed up my sons order and gave me about a spoonful of chili in the chili cheese burger; rude service again. Couldn't even take the tome to give us a receipt. The guy at the counter didn't even respond when we said things to him after our order and when we picked it up. Thought we had found a good spot for burgers in Pacifica--we were wrong. My family & I are from Manteca and we tried this place on our way out from enjoying the day at Rockaway beach & let me tell ya, absolutely delicious!! My son got the hang loose burger, the teriyaki sauce that comes on the burger were gonna need a bottle of it so good! My son said Burger Board is top 2 out of 5 with the best teriyaki burger he's ever had! The vibe is kick back, the service was amazing & friend. We are all about supporting local businesses but Burger Board keeps disappointing us. My kids picked up an order yesterday and it was just bad. My three teenagers will eat just about anything and yesterday they threw away most of their order. They really wanted wings...8 out of 10 wings went straight in the trash. Way overcooked and dried out almost to the point of burned. Ordered regular fries and got sweet potato fries. Ordered chicken tenders with garlic fries which my kid normally loves and she couldn't eat the garlic fries they were soaking in grease. I wish I was home at the time because I would have taken all of the food back. I hope improvements are made because I really want to keep supporting local. read more

The service is friendly; you order at the counter & they bring it to you. The bacon cheeseburger was the best with a well seasoned well grilled patty, cheese, fresh onions, tomatos, pickles, & tender smoky bacon. The fries were crispy golden. Everyone enjoyed their food. Round it off with a soft drink or beer in my case & you will not be disappointed. It is a casual atmosphere with TVs going with sports & a great neighborhood oceanside hangout.
