Service was poor, food was poorly prepared and asked for fries to be crispy and got literally wet noodle fries, see photo. Spent over 50 and gave a 15% tip for take out. Just took a bite of the burger and it's dry as the Mojave desert. Must be frozen burger meat! If you want a better burger and fries, save your money and go to McDonalds cause its much better for 1/4 of the price. read more

We ordered takeout using Doordash: - They made my partner the wrong burger. - I ordered a burger as a "lettuce wrap", and it arrived not as a wrap but as burger ingredients covered by a few 1-inch-wide pieces of romaine hearts. It was about as messy as you could imagine. - Burgers were supposed to be medium-rare and well-done, but both were cooked to a hard dry crisp. - Fries were so salty as to be inedible, and we ended up tossing them. This is not the first time we've gotten fries here that were too salty to eat. A local staple in Pacifica I grew up too love, a insanely good location with free parking, the food has always been a hit for me, I have never ate one of there burgers but have seen many from customers as I walk in and always look amazing, a little small but gets the job done with the seats and outdoor seating. The service is amazing, so good that they even remember your name! If you walk in and use a credit card, ask for a receipt. It was end of the day and the cashier over charged us where an 85$ order was over $110. This is despite my tipping. I went back to ask and they fumbled around the register and offered me $10 cash back.At that point I was too speechless to care. Do they target people they think are going to overlook it? It's a touch screen POS system so I find it hard to believe it was accidental. Whatever you do, if you hand over your credit card, ask for a itemized receipt. 1) Check to make sure they don't overcharge you or just order only via mobile app. 2) Burgers were decent. 3) Fries were clearly made earlier and terrible. Brand new burger place in Pacifica! I have to admit I have been looking forward to the day the Burger-Board doors opened. Today, August 30th is the Day! One of the things I like best about a burger joint is a place that cooks their meat on FLAME. Burger-Board does does just that by making a chargrilled burger. So in I had to come to try it out. A menu item house branded Burger-Board from the top of the list with a couple of additions. I asked for carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, extra toasted bun, bacon, and a 1/2 pound patty cooked to a solid medium, and of course the works for the rest of the toppings. They got it mostly right but missed adding in the bacon, And the onions were only grilled, not carmelized. Still, I liked what came out. The meat was tasty, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium. The veggies were fresh. Tomato and pickle flavors fit well the burger. Even with the amount of mayo and juices on the bun it survived until it met it's end in my belly. It was served along with a choice of sides. Today I chose the French Fries and the choice turned out to be the right one. Solid thick and long burger sized fries. Cooked to perfection. I could come here and order just the fries and a drink and be happy. Also had a Coke to go with the burger. It's a good Coke out of a fountain. Tastes just right. Served in a large branded cup. You're not walking away from here thirsty. On the whole I would say no single person will leave hungry. Two people could probably split a burger and still leave satisfied. Inside Burger-Board the theme is totally great beach shack appearance. Pacifica Pedro Point hand painted mural on one wall. Buger dude mural on the other wall. Surf, sand, sea life, and feet prints mural on the floor shows you the ways to the counter. Surfboards tables to enjoy your meal. A few TVs on the wall for sports and other things. Outside they made the right decision to keep the tables and chairs. Great to bring the family dogs and hang out with a Hill side Pedro Point Headlands view in the temperate Pacifica weather. One the points I look at in a place is the bathroom. Burger-Board carried on the surf side theme into the bathroom too. One of the cutest on the coastline. Obviously super clean sine this place is new. You can send your kids back without a worry. There is more stuff on the Burger-Board menu I will be back to try. Including Shakes, Floats, hot dogs, and beer. Looking forward to the next visit. read more

Onion rings were the best I've had in the area. Burger and grilled cheese were great. Fries well done and crunchy just like we wanted.

The first time we went, we were happy with the burgers. Pricey but good. The guy behind the counter seemed bothered he had to help and didn't properly wear his mask. Second time, they messed up my sons order and gave me about a spoonful of chili in the chili cheese burger; rude service again. Couldn't even take the tome to give us a receipt. The guy at the counter didn't even respond when we said things to him after our order and when we picked it up. Thought we had found a good spot for burgers in Pacifica--we were wrong. What a shame when were trying to support a local business. I guess we'll keep searching for a good burger spot in the area. read more

Got the NorCal burger for take out. There was only avocado on maybe half of the burger. Decently sized meal. The prices were a bit higher than the pictures on yelp. See attached an updated menu with prices. The food was alright, burger was well done and fries were not that crispy. The Burger-Board is reason enough to visit Pacifica. The burgers are all surfing themed. They have a variety of burgers and you are sure to like one or more. They are half a pound of Harris Ranch beef. Gluten free? They will wrap the burgers in lettuce leaves. It's a slippery hot mess but delicious. You will have to hose down afterwards so you may want to take out and eat at your Airbnb. I had a the Wiped Out (as in surfing) burger which bacon, cheese and an egg on it for $16.99. My son got the hang loose burger, the teriyaki sauce that comes on the burger were gonna need a bottle of it so good! My son said Burger Board is top 2 out of 5 with the best teriyaki burger he's ever had! The vibe is kick back, the service was amazing & friend. We are all about supporting local businesses but Burger Board keeps disappointing us. My kids picked up an order yesterday and it was just bad. My three teenagers will eat just about anything and yesterday they threw away most of their order. They really wanted wings...8 out of 10 wings went straight in the trash. Way overcooked and dried out almost to the point of burned. Ordered regular fries and got sweet potato fries. Ordered chicken tenders with garlic fries which my kid normally loves and she couldn't eat the garlic fries they were soaking in grease.
