Went on a Saturday after the lunch hour and we were able to find a seat and get service right away. The menu is awesome, and there are lots of varieties of burgers to choose from, including some garden/veggie choices. I had the regular "Burger Board", and requested to have it cooked medium, which they nailed (medium well is the standard unless you request otherwise). I also ordered some of their buffalo wings, which came with a generous side of bleu cheese as a dipping sauce. The wing sauce was really good, and they cooked the wings well, but the wings themselves seemed to be "second tier" in terms of size, quality, and consistency. Service was friendly, and the decor with the surf board tables is fun! Biggest reasons for 4 stars was the price and the quality of the fries. The fries are all "sides", and none come with the burgers automatically. So, you end up paying $10-15 for the burger itself...with no fries included. Don't get me wrong, the burger quality is really quite good, I just felt like there are similar places that charge the same, but include some sort of side. In terms of the French Fry quality, I have two suggestions: cook the fries at a slightly higher temperature so they come out a bit more crispy, and season them with at least a little bit of salt as soon as they come out of the fryer. This is a personal opinion obviously, but I felt that even with the added garlic/herbs, the fries were a) a bit bland and b) a little too soggy for me to give an overall 5-star review. I was on an adventure to see some zany thing in a far away part of my state. I had just seen the wondrous Taco Bell in Pacifica. Sadly, the wondrous Taco Bell in Pacifica was closed Thanksgiving day. Luckily, this place was very close by and open! It seemed like a strip-mall burger joint. And, that's what it was. I looked at the menu board, and decided upon the egg burger. The Wipeout. Wiped Out? Something like that. I'm a big fan of breakfast burgers, and this seemed pretty close to that. I want to say with the Iced Tea the tab might have been pushing about $20? After ordering, I sat down at a table inside the cordoned off section of the parking lot. A group of locals occupied another table. It seems like a group of friends who had reunited for Thanksgiving. It was good to see friends having fun. I was reminded of the before times. When you could do that without offending anyone. Before too long, the guy who took my order came out with my burger. It seemed hefty. And large. And also possibly in charge. I thanked the guy and took the yelp photo. Then I picked the thing up and somehow took a large bite. The Breakfast burger was delicious. Meat and bacon and eggs. Sigh. As I write this review months later, I want another one now. Even the fries were crispy and great. If I hadn't been driving, a beer would have been a great addition to the meal. I ate the burger, and many of the fries. I was quite full when the dog of the group of friends came over and looked like he wanted food. The group scolded the dog for begging, and as I walked the basket and cup back to the counter, I ended up giving the dog a large pile of french fries. The dog happily munched up the fries off the pavement. So while the Taco Bell just down the street is pretty darn way cool. This place has far better food. I do hope to be back again. Great little burger shop in a strip-like mall alongside Pacifica's gorgeous coast. My boyfriend and I decided to eat somewhere in Pacifica because we both had a Monday off and used it as an excuse to try somewhere new without the crowd. After hanging out at the dirtier-than-I-remember beach I started crusing online for a local place to eat. This landed me at the "strip mall" with a couple options: I opted for Burger-Board because 1) I've been to many a Crepe Vines, and 2) I like to give small businesses, well my business. And let me say, Burger-Board did not disappoint! It was rather empty (just a couple of older friends catching up and a bunch of elder surfers looking for a bite), so we quickly seated ourselves at one of the cute (but small) surfboard shaped tables. Perfect for a 2-top but not anything more. Since it was Monday they have a Free Side promotion which we took advantage of. I wasn't very hungry so we just ordered one cheeseburger with garlic fries, and a side of beer-battered onion rings. The girl up front was so sweet and made sure that the kitchen cut our burger in half since we were sharing. She also brought us out two dipping sauces for the onion rings, which were by the way, phenomenal. P.S. if you have an air fryer both rings and fries reheat magnificently. This is a great place to stop by for a quick bite. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I'm not sure how it is on the weekends but I think Mondays might be the best day to go. read more

While it's no surprise that the relaxing ambiance of the joint has a surf/wave-catching theme, the great paintings that cover the walls and floors, including the bathroom, may make you feel like you're still on the beach. The place was messy - no tables were bussed, piled high with half-eaten fries and empty cups and glasses. I asked for a medium-burger with jalapeño. I got home no jalapeños and burger was well done. The vanilla shake was tasty, but not sure if the quantity of the shake was worth $6.00. I would not go out of the way to bring friends here and if I return, I'll ask look at the burger before I go home. It was National Burger Day, so I felt obligated to order one, and my go-to places were either closed or too far to drive to, so (given my preference to try local places) this was the natural selection. Good burger, large size, cooked just right (medium rare). The bun may have been a bit too big, but I'd rather have one that offers structural stability over one that disintegrates, so no problems in that department. Dressings seemed fresh and tasty. Curly fries a little cold, but it was a chilly evening and the order may have been ready before the promised time. Again, not a problem. Service was friendly and nice, even if there were some ne'er-do-wells from the smoke shop next door hanging out (without masks), smoking and drinking. In the restaurant's favor, though, the staff seemed none too pleased that these layabouts were there, so more points to them. read more

Never get Dash from this place unless you like to have a complete stranger from the other side of town order for you. I ordered three meals and only one meal (which was entirely wrong) came to my door. I called the restraunt and was told "let me talk to my boss.... Then disconnected. I should have known better I actually watched dash take my order out to be delivered to someone. Confused why im not blamming Dash for this mess? Because dash delivery drivers get the food handed to them. I drove down hoping that they will fix their mistake. They told me they didnt even get our dash order. The manager refused to let me explain to him what happened. All he said was "Call Dash! No customer service and rude people. They will go out of business just like surf spot did. Conclusion: we called Dash (who will also be giving them a bad review and was told that they were thinking about removing them from Dash all together. ;) you messed up Burger board!! I really tried to give this business another try, but again they let me down. Months ago I stopped in and got a patty melt. The bread wasn't toasted and the meat covered half of the bread. A disappointment. Last night I stopped in again, and again it was terrible. I will elaborate. First of all the store/shop was freezing. And sitting on metal chairs made it even colder. One reason I couldn't wait to get out of there. I ordered a Nor Cal burger. Comes with avocado and bacon. Ok the fries were hot and yummy but the sandwich was terrible. It was so big biting into it was impossible. After cutting it in two, the sandwich or burger fell apart, plus the meat was in clumps, not a patty or hamburger steak, and furthermore the bacon was a huge clump. What in the hell? Making a burger isn't that difficult. I would really advise the owner to invest in some better cooks. Two strikes - I won't be back, my $18 burger ended up in the trash. read more

Was driving down the coast with family searching the web for a decent place for lunch. My daughter found this spot online and as it was literally right off the highway, we decided to give it a try. Great move on our part. I had the Wiped-Out Burger, 2 others had the BLT and 1 had the Grilled Chicken. My burger was ginormous! The BLT's were literally stuffed with bacon and the grilled chicken was BIG. All the sandwiches were cooked to order properly, buns were toasted just right and the fries and onion rings were the perfect sides for the sandwiches. Dude at the counter was friendly and the food came out quickly. Not sure when I'll ever be in Pacifica again, but if I'm ever within 100 miles, I'll be making a detour to Burger Board. Keep in mind this is a little joint right off the beach, so the decor is nothing fancy but appropriate for sure. You're not there for the scenery however, just a big, good burger! This is the best burger you can get in Pacifica and it's actually good by Bay Area standards (I love you, PACIFICA, but most of the food around here needs 1.5 stars removed to get a real gauge against the Bay Area). I got the Board Burger and it was delicious (I'm dairy free). The burger isn't overly greasy (they use Harris ranch beef, and you can definitely taste the quality) and the bread is pleasantly doughy with sesame seeds galore. The onions rings were amazing and garlic fries were also super garlicky. My husband enjoyed all the sports screens they had mounted on almost every wall. This place is SO good. Really wanted a good burger so we went and tried something new and local. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers, onion rings, fries, and a fountain soda. Everything was perfect. They didn't ask for a temperature on the meat but mine was cooked to a perfect medium. The lettuce and onion on the burgers were fresh and crispy, nicely complimenting the hot juicy burger.
