OK, so I've been to burger, barn multiple times enough to have a great sense of it and I see some of these reviews of people banging on this place like it's a dive or saying there's bugs and stuff.. There is not an issue here in this area. If there was I wouldn't write to you and say otherwise and I wouldn't frequent any establishment so I have ever wrote that embellishing just bad mouthing being a negative Nelly.. But I will tell you now focus on is the food and you know getting a charbroiled burger really super tasty fries and a drink for like 1250 out the door I mean you can't beat that price for an actual restaurant you know sit down setting it's an excellent size burger comes with the fictions whatever you want on it. I even give a cash discount over credit card, which is like really cool and they're very friendly And it is a old school rustic family chill vibe. You could go there with your buddies if you're in high school be a cool place to hang out eat after school whatever the situation may be if you're one of those people wants to go and spend $25 on a burger fries and a Coke you know then more power to you no judgment whatsoever, however if you want a very tasty, well made cheeseburger fries, and a drink And I won't break the bank and it's gonna taste really good and be consistent then go check out burger barn and where can you get a boiled burger on top of that? But there are people in the world that are kind of bougie and uppity. This might not be the place for them, but you know what the average consumer who can appreciate a really well-made meal my son had a grilled pastrami and Swiss sandwich and he said it was money and it looked like it was money. The french fries are always tasty so do yourself a favor. Go check it out if you can even watch the news or they have a sports shit you know a program on several TVs they've got a pinball machine, which is really cool but I think it's a great place so let's keep them in business and go enjoy some tasty food and check it out for yourself You can use your credit card or bring cash and get a little discount Thanks to everybody at Burger Pine for always being so nice and having a great customer service along with great food which makes for a great experience for us as customers I need to get over there and have breakfast. I've been a reoccurring customer of Burger Barn. I will say, I will no longer be supporting this business. I brought my dad for lunch and he provided his ID to get the senior discount. The gal taking the order was great and provided great customer service. Then when I was making my payment, the cook in the back said I couldn't pay, that my father had to pay. He had no business engaging in the cashiers job. Due to this bad experience with the customer service from the cook, I will not be supporting this local business. read more

The ambiance is OK, it's just your typical little all in one food joint. I have it 4 stars but it's dope stable in the neighborhood. I've had there bacon burger multiple times. If you throw a sunny side up egg in the middle, it makes your experience that much better. The service is fair but over all, I like this place. Check it out. I used to love this place but they seem to have gone downhill. I came here a few weeks ago and it took a little while for our food to come out, however we were warned that it may be a wait as there were many people here and we had a group of four. So it was pretty expected, not upset about that. I had ordered a side of sunny side up eggs and to my surprise they were not cooked all the way, They were still raw on the top. Safe to say I did not eat those. I am unsure of what my daughter ordered but I know it came with cheesy eggs. The cheese on the eggs were KRAFT SINGLES. I was appalled. Truly disgusting. read more

Recently moved in down the block. Been trying new places, and this was one of the first. Everything I've had so far has been amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. First, the girl who took my order (two days in a row) as well as the cook were both extremely pleasant & friendly. I went two days in a row because it's one of the BEST non-chain burgers in town, if not thee best. I had a pastrami cheeseburger & fries, and the burger made my eyes roll back in my head like a shark! Holy Moses! Eat local, I believe in this phrase. So I will suggest this place to everyone. Just know that going in it's gonna be OK. They are not gonna mess up your order, it's just not gonna blow your socks off. The biggest issue I have with burger barn is... how can you call yourself Burger Barn and you use frozen burger Patties from cysco? Fix that, and you will be 5 star and way busier. read more

This is a little hole in the wall place by us, and whenever we want a burger.. we go here. It's delicious!! You can taste the grill on the patty, and the buns are surprisingly so fluffy and yummy. We prefer this places burgers over In and Out! That's gotta say something. My favorite is the Animal Burger and the Pastrami burger! read more

Reasonably priced, clean, fast. The Camarillo Burger was decent. The "fresh garden salad" was definitely not fresh. Staff is nice, but the cashier seemed really confused - messing up the order in front and after me. The AC also doesn't seem to be on, so waiting was extremely uncomfortable and sweaty. Was looking for a local place for breakfast before going to a business meeting and found the Burger Barn located near my hotel. This is truly a local establishment located in a strip mall. On Tuesday morning the restaurant was not busy. The interior is large and the walls and ceiling are decorated with sports memorabilia. Also, the walls are lined with game machines. My guess is this is a hangout for High School that is located across the street. I ordered the pancake sandwich, which is not a sandwich...but a breakfast platter of pancakes, eggs and sausage. The pancakes were a little tough, but overall not bad for $8.17. I was impressed with the young lady behind the counter. She asked my name when she took my order and then remembered my name and used it when serving me. Impressive! Sometimes it is the small things that leave a good impression. read more

I am writing this review for a particular meal only. I have enjoyed the grilled chicken salad several times. I have even recommended the salad to others. Yesterday I picked up a grilled chicken salad to go. I ate about half and saved the rest for this afternoon Every piece of lettuce was rusty and inedible. This little gem has been here for many years and the food is consistently YUM. Good service. It's a walk up counter to order, and they bring it to your table (inside or out). My coworkers and I are on the hunt for the best breakfast burritos, and today was Burger Barn's turn. I had very low expectations for this place as they're a burger joint and I'm partial to my usual spot... however after trying their breakfast burrito with No Meat and Extra Hot Salsa, they have jumped to my #1 position!!! I was pleasantly surprised with the overall flavor of the potatoes and the salsa had lots of flavor and kick. Would highly recommend this place for a morning stop! read more

3.75 stars. I'm not a burger connoisseur, but I'll do my best to describe it. The bun was soft, which is as it should be, but there was perhaps just a little too much of it. The sandwich was medium-tall, which may or may not be to your liking. The meat itself was a little lacking in flavor. Something was missing on the patty. Maybe it needed more char, more salt and pepper; it just didn't quite pop like the best burgers I've had. It was by no means bad, but I wouldn't make a special trip to have it again. Really impressive, awesome environment, really good food. Im from out of the area and wanted an authentic burger. Came in to order take out and amazed at how friendly everyone is to each other. Definitely a locals spot. I ordered the Animal burger double and the spaghetti. Absolutely worth it. Was considering the usual in n out or pizza and I am super happy I tried this place out. Admittedly, I'm on a mission to see this place have a solid four stars (and if all you Yelpers out there help it get to five, well then, so be it). Seriously, the TL;DR for this review is as follows: GREAT tasting burgers and dogs, GREAT customer service, at a GREAT (reasonable) price. So here's the long version. FOOD: Was soooooooooo good. I ordered the "Camarillo Burger" and let me tell you something: I highly doubt you'll find a better burger in the area. To start, their burgers have a good char on them, which fights through that deliciously tangy and oh-so buttery avocado spread enough to give it real char-broiled character. That blend of American and Swiss cheese - pure genius! The patty is meaty enough and the bacon was just enough so that you don't have to call this your typical "BACON cheeseburger". The bacon on this burger is a slightly salty and crisp accompaniment to a delicious burger. My wife got the bacon cheeseburger, and she had ZERO complaints (she also finished the whole burger, which is rare for her to do). On to the Hot Dogs here. Dude. All beef dogs which are split in half and charred to perfection (just like those burgers). You can see the char marks on those bad boys (which may initially be off putting to your kids). After I convinced the kids to "just try them", they couldn't put them down. My oldest (10) said, "This is the best hot dog I've ever had!" (That's palate maturation right there). I had to try a nibble of her hot dog, and I gotta say, touché my young protégé. That all beef goodness sweats outta that wiener and that char is really nice. Fries are.....fries. No special seasoning on them or special dipping sauce. Just your average, yet solid, side for a burger and/or fries. SERVICE: (Pandemic edition) They are encouraging social distancing and refusing service to those non-mask wearers. They have everything inside spread far out so that nobody can sit down inside (due to current guidelines). The gals at the counter were very nice to me, explaining the menu items and such. We had a "Karen" sighting this time out. The woman in front of us was practically yelling at the gals at the register that she still had $8.00 on her gift card, and she wanted them to accept it. This, despite the clear signage which stated "We will no longer be able to accept gift cards past December 2019 due to a change in card processing system". The gals up front handled her excellently, ultimately, ignoring their own signage and figuring out a way to give the woman her $8.00. If doing that doesn't set this place at four stars for service alone, I don't know what will. read more
