The best burgers! They have every type of burger u can image to fill your tastes buds! two of my favorites are the pineapple burger & the Camarillo burger two cheeses, avacado, tomato & bacon. You can get it as a meal or alone. They have fries and onion rings for the sides. Wash it all down with a soda or milk shake. Beware though around noon to 1:30 it get crowded. Lunch rush comes piling in. Its a small place to so there isnt that much seating @ that time or parking. But there worth the wait. read more

Lets start out by calling this place what it is...its a glorified snack bar like you would find at a bowling alley, golf course or little league field. We went there for lunch today. I have been before, but always for breakfast and I will say our family likes the breakfast there. Today's lunch was really disappointing. When you walk in, you are greeted with the snack bar type menu. Apparently, they have a number of burgers including a Camarillo burger. There is absolutely no explanation of what any of them are. I guess you hacve to ask which makes the counter slow. We settled in with two cheeseburgers, one corn dog, a tri tip sandwich and a corn dog. We also had fries and sodas. We will start with my tri tip sandwich. AWFUL. The tri tip was cut deli meat thin. It tasted as if it has been sitting in a warmer for hours. It was tough, wayyyy overcooked and chewy. The grilled onions included several strands of onion skin. Geez thanks. The BBQ sauce is straight out of a bottle. I honestly ate less than half. The corn dog was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Obviously, the oil was too hot that is all that explains that. My kid took two bites and refused to eat anymore. The burgers were what you would expect from the volunteer at the little league field who thinks he can BBQ. Meat was low grade and patty was small. There was little or no seasoning on it. It was pretty basic snack bar food. It was not restaurant quality. They managed not to screw up the fries or the sodas. Nice work. The ambiance is 80's bowling alley. The booths were dirty and dated. I will not go back for lunch or dinner. I will go back for breakfast which is normally pretty decent. read more

Love this place! The local burger joint - and it always delivers. The decor is minimal, but walls covered with trophies of the local LL teams they've sponsored over the last 20 years. I always get the mushroom/swiss, or the ortega burger. Both go down a little too easy. They always come with a big ol' pile o' steak fries, with a ketchup squirt plastic bottle so you can take aim. Breakfast isn't bad either - classic googie coffee shop fare without the sticky cutlery. Had the breakfast burrito - basically the simple breakfast (eggs/potato/meat) wrapped in a tortilla with salsa - basic but...ah yes, whoever is slinging the hash in back deserves whatever tips you can put in the jar. read more

Tri tip shame... I've heard good things about this place and ordered some food to go. The special that night was tri tip and I asked if it's good and they said it's their best. I've eaten ALOT of tri tip and when my kids say it's bad, it's bad. Not only was the meat overdone and tasteless but there we around 5 little triangles in there. I ordered two orders for one adult and two kids and i ended up eating the salad and crappy garlic bread. Ordered two fish sandwiches for my parents and it looks like i could have done better at the golden arches. If i were ever to consider this place again, maybe i should stick with the burger. read more

A C-Town staple. These guys don't mess around. They make a straight up honest burger. Don't go here expecting vegan because this is not the place. Is really popular at lunch time judging by the number of work trucks parked out front. They also do breakfast, but I've never been to it. Would suspect that breakfast is just as good as the yummy burgers. If you have a meat craving, then this burger is hard to beat! read more

I went to the Burger Barn on my lunch break to grab a quick bite. I was waiting to order, one cashier was counting her register, so a second one came to the other register. Thinking I was next, I walked up to order but was shortly cut off, by the second cashier telling me her coworker will help me just shortly. The second cashier then helped the customer behind me, it was obvious that she was the cashier friend. The food is good, but the service was horrible. Hopefully the mangers start training their employees better. Get your act together! read more

Good ol' Burger Barn. I always say there is a reason why a place lasts as long as it does. The Burger Barn has been in Camarillo as long as I can remember. A favorite for locals in Cam and also for students at ACHS which is nearby. They are tucked away on a corner. The decor could use some updating, but what's important is the food. There are a good amount of booths and tables. You order at the counter. My husband loves a good ol' burger and he loves this place. We love the barn burger. Great place for burgers and they have a good variety of different burgers. The fries are sometimes a tad overdone and I wasn't a fan of the chili fries-stick to just fries. They also serve other sandwiches, dishes, and they also serve breakfast. Great prices. read more

I eat here 3 or 4 times a week. Good food and quick service. Friendly staff and clean facility. Good prices consistent with the fare. This is a short order restaurant. If you don't know what that is, you be considerate enough to look it up before you rate it! Reviewer Brian P.; they were asking your wife if she wanted the BLT bread toasted! It is one of their best offerings and I order it all the time. They ALWAYS ask about that with the BLT. We come on average of twice a week. Their breakfast menu it typical and filling. Their burgers are great along with everything else. Although their name describes them as a burger joint, I really enjoy their breakfast burritos which I normally rotate between chorizo, bacon, or sausage. As for the burgers, my favorites are the Animal with grilled onions and the Camarillo. The meat has a nice smoke flavor to it, which reminds me of that home cooked backyard BBQ taste that I can never get tired of. read more

Every town needs a signature burger joint that's a) impossible to replicate and b) a staple in the community. I'm happy to report Burger Barn is that place for Camarillo. It's been here forever and their food is absolutely grease-tastic. The food is good enough for the restaurant to survive on word of mouth, however, the owner takes it upon himself to always support schools in the community anyway.
