I was in the mood for more pizza, so I came to this pizzeria because it had good reviews. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the counter and ordered a slice with extra cheese. It came to about $4. When I dug in, the pizza was ok. All in all, I had an ok experience!

Walking around Downtown and on way back to car walked by the open door. We got a whiff of pizza aroma seeping out the door and had to go in to check it out. Nothing to look at, tables, little decor and ovens, kind of hole in the wall Pizzeria. Grabbed two slices to go, boxed up, table with some extras, out the door for $6.50. Pizza was good, NY Style that tasted like NY Pizza, worth a stop if in the area

    Slice of cheese perfection!

We found Buona on Yelp. After a day of skiing a satisfying slice sounded ideal. They do carry out pizza by the slice, and the BIGGEST calzone you've ever seen. Pandemic procedures: call your order in and pick up in store. The employees seemed to be a little slack in wearing masks, but I felt safe in mine. The restaurant was empty. To go only right now (Feb 2021). The pizza was perfect. Cheesy and a little crunch with awesome flavor. The calzone was also really impressive. The ricotta and ham inside tasted really good. We were able to walk to and from the Hilton around the corner. All in all it was fun to have some authentic food.

Hours to this place say they close at 11 on a Saturday night. Walked in around 9:02. I've never seen more miserable people working in a restaurant in all of my life. As others have stated, yes, this is a classic local pizza joint so the ambiance has a Backroom feel. I'm sure this place is cozy in winter, but it was about 90 degrees on a June evening. The pizza itself would not have been bad (toppings of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were pretty good) if they didn't burn it, but they did. Ate one slice. Here's the bigger problem--if these folks hate their job so much, they need to hire people who know how to interact with the public. Three people walked in as I sat waiting for pizza, none of them acknowledged: the pizza cook kept hiding behind the pizza oven scraping the wooden pizza paddle. The guy making the pizzas looked as if I was asking him to wipe my rear when I ordered a pizza, and then in back a woman staring glumly out into the wide yonder of the restaurant. Finally, a young woman at the counter asked, after patiently waiting for 10 minutes, "Could I get two slices?" The cook said, "We don't have none. We're closing." An hour and a half early? I got my pizza and two sodas, and the pizza cook mumbled $22 dollars. That was my whole interaction. And when restaurants close and act like their world has been shattered because people didn't support them, this is why. I'll never go back. Good luck to the college kids who tolerate this kind of unprofessionalism. This is not an acceptable way to run a business.

We stopped here briefly while in town; the place has an old fashion look with a long way to get to the order counter, kind of reminding me of a school cafeteria. We ordered pizza by the slice and were quite happy to receive a generous, hot and crispy portion with a very delish sauce and just the right amount of cheese... Quite a delight!

My favorite pizza in LIFE. Place is kind of a hole, it's true. And go to the restroom before you sit and eat, or better yet, take it home. but pizza is consistent and always delicious.

Great buttery crust, the moozarell was great, pepperonis were spicy. The crust was thin but my personal preference is to have it a hair thinner. Good pizza REQUIRES dabbing off grease with a napkin- like Buono's delivers. Has that great PA pizzeria feel inside, like the one I used to work in.

Huge calzones.. this is just half.

The BEST pizza and calzones in NEPA. the prices are very reasonable and portions are huge. Very ingredients. Very tasty and fresh. Exactly like N.Y. pizza.

In all of my 32 years, this was literally the best buffalo chicken pizza I've EVER eaten! I actually wiped off some of the sauce to begin, fearing that it would be the stereotypical salty, vinegar-forward buffalo sauce. I regretted my decision: It was an ever-so-pleasant, slightly sweet, based, mild buffalo sauce. The pizza actually has thin slices of breaded chicken as a topping. I've never found a buff chic pizza that had chunks of baked, well-seasoned, thinly-sliced, breaded chicken tenders on top. It reminds me of what you'd find at a place like Ninas on their breaded hot wing hoagie; with a very similar sauce profile. This wouldn't be a true pizza review if I didn't note any critiques. The Dough was definitely homemade but it was slightly under done for my liking *I do understand they were pumping out hundreds to trays during the festival. The only aspect of this keeping it from being a 9.5+ slice was a little char on the undercarriage. A little color mixed with the breaded chicken and phenomenal sauce would take both the pizza's overall rating and its aesthetic/presentation to the next level! Well done Electric City Pizza! I scarfed it down so quick, I didn't get a chance to take a photo

Tons of events and trivia in their schedule for folks looking for a night out on weekdays or weekends. The interior is mildly psychedelic with music. The food was fine. We got the burger and nachos. I was between giving 3 and 4 stars. Service was slow but the venue was busy, there was an event, and the night crew was picking up when we were there. The buffalo chicken nachos were fine. We appreciated the crispiness of the tortilla chips and the excellent cheese sauce that was well-distributed on the chips. There was tomato among other veggies that I do not remember. The chicken was fine for me on a cut. However, it had the texture of boiled chicken which I wasn't a huge fan of. Still had to get my protein in. I really enjoyed the burger. The bun was a soft potato roll. The patty was a little cooler. Between a cold burger and soggy nachos I certainly would choose the cool burger. This was made up for with the large volume of burger that was deliciously crispy. The pickles accompanied the burger with a secret mayo-based burger sauce. If warm, it could be a 5/5 burger. Overall, the experience was fine. I would go here on a week day rather than 6 on Friday, though.

I would say that this is probably the best deep dish pizza that I've tried in a while and I used to live in the Midwest. The crust was super crunchy and very buttery, which is great. You could definitely taste a jar of the cheese on the side and the crispiness of the bottom of the crust not only that, but I felt like the toppings were just amount of flavor. There was onions on there. There was corn on there. It just felt very very hearty. it's definitely heavy dish but it hits a spot if you're looking for a deep dish pizza they did it very well. I would definitely come back for this steep dish pizza and honestly, I could only get through two slices on my own definitely enough for two people to eat comfortably and not that expensive too was 13 bucks

We met the owner, Stefano, and despite the restaurant being at its busiest peak, he couldn't have been more welcoming, kind, and attentive. Speaking Italian with him instantly brought us back to Italy. He embodies the warmth and hospitality we miss so much. The food was authentic, fresh, and clearly made with great attention to detail. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu, and every dish was outstanding. Honestly, it's hard to choose a favorite because everything was so good. Even our kids said they felt like they were back in Italy. They especially loved the pizza. If you're looking for real Italian food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Piciocchi's is a must. We can't wait to come back!

Ok I'm in, I'm Italian, homemade pasta is right up my alley. We sat down, friendly staff (young and distant), but an extremely strange setting. It was like walking into a Wayfair showroom with a pasta kitchen. The branding was a bit horrid in my opinion, but I work in that industry, so I couldn't get over the esthetic before I even got to the food. The TV "paintings" with random art were the "highlight" truly... I'm being too kind. The wedding table numbers, really were killing me in the worst way. This place was like a mishmash of identities with no real clarity of execution or strategy on how to accomplish what they're trying to be. A crash landing of ideas with no real destination. Now the food and drink! The plates were the size of a small luggage! For starters, the "fresh" bread they offered with a rancid tasting olive oil and the tiniest drop of balsamic vinegar was appalling. The calamari was decent at best... it tasted factory made, the coating was thick and it came with the tiniest portions of sauce. I want my calamari, piping hot, with a really thin coating and a ton of sauce, that's just me. The chicken cutlet was a flavorless flour-dredged slab of meat. Barely pounded out and coated in a thin breading, with no seasoning, and it was crazy big! The Gnocchi four cheese was like eating dough turds in glue. The texture was not good at all, and reminded me of undercooked packaged pasta, and weirdly overcooked all the same time... like the water wasn't boiling and they added the pasta in while it was cold. Gnocchi should be pillowy soft and should literally fall apart in the mouth and the cheese sauce should not be like hair gel stuck to the food. It's Italian food, it's supposed to be herbaceous and well seasoned, this was food for non-Italians, who think they could like Italian food if it was just a little more bland and assimilated... without all the immigrant culture, ya know?! The best portion of the dish was the non-alcoholic drink, which is saying a lot. I genuinely hate to leave a terrible impression, but I really hated this meal, and I'm shocked by the reviews. It would seem a lot of people are here for the big portions and cheap food. Not a quality food experience. Everyone's got their own taste!
