Stopped in for day two of the new WAY improved bunker hill re-opening! Olivia was our bartender. Answered all of our questions with a smile and full of information! The inside is very clean, great beer signs and tastefully decorated. Cheese Curds were homemade, crispy and very yummy! Hot Honey Chicken sandwich was huge, the white cheddar had great flavor and the banana peppers were a perfect kick. Pizza was really good! Way different than the old pizza but very yummy! Ruben was good but size portion was underwhelming. Will definitely be back, this place will be busy with a menu like this! Love adding this to place to my hometown community read more

First time at Bunker Hill since they re-opened. The ambience is still the same sports bar vibe. Food was good with large portion sizes. I really enjoyed the Bunker Fries. Service was prompt. Our server, Kelly was friendly and very attentive. Overall had a great experience! read more

My meal was good. Although the fried steak isn't breaded correctly. But it was good. They use a good marinade that packs some good flavor. Wasn't impressed with the waitstaff. Not friendly IMO. This was my first visit as I'm new to the area. I was told by locals that the pizza here used to be really good and it isn't now under new ownership. With that said I probably won't waste the $$$ to find out. Definitely will give it another shot. read more

Food is terrible! Bunker Sauce on everything is absolutely disgusting! Service sucks! The hostess's are cute and giggly, two of them joking around all night long! The Fish was dry, overcooked! The regular French fries and the bunker fries were greasy, soft, had to take Pepto-Bismol when we got home! The Patty Melt has MUSHROOMS and AMERICAN CHEESE on it??? Should not even be called a Patty Melt because it is not! The old owners before it sold to these new owners in 2025 had a great reputation and a great menu and great service, this new CORPORATION that took Bunker Hill over, is ruining it! Two times been there, two strikes your out! Whitney M our server was cute and tried her best but food came out at all different times, she had no answers to any of our questions and when I ask her what the heck was in this Cole Slaw that made it ORANGE and SPICEY tasting? Her response is: I think it is BUNKER SAUSE and you don't have to eat it if you don't want to. All four of us burst out laughing when she walked away and all said the same thing: Did she just say as sweetly as possible like she was my mommy, you don't have to eat it if you don't want to? LOL! This place is going to go down the sewer fast, guess it was bought out by Pepino's Pizza or something like that! Disgusting, a lot better choices in the area and to think, a couple of weeks ago when we hadn't been there, I was bummed out because I wanted a reservation for 14 people, now that it finally re-opened and they told me they could not take a reservation of that size! 2 hour wait if we wanted to get on a wait list! The new Bunker Hill is AMAZING. They brightened up the interior a little bit, and the food... where to start with the food. It is simply incredible. They really put some work into having flavorful and delicious offerings. The wait staff are very attentive and helpful as well. Don't forget to leave room for some peach cobbler. And for all those old Bunker Hill burrito lovers, I'm sorry but the burrito has changed. I would still put it in the top 5 burritos in the area, it is very flavorful and a frequent order, just not the only thing that I order anymore. read more

I really want to recommend this place, but it's really difficult. The food is great most of the time. The customer service and the service has always and probably will always suck. The staff is usually really rude. They don't update their hours and they rarely answer the phone and if they do answer the phone it's with a lot of attitude. For the people that live in the area it's the only restaurant available - so again I really want to love this place and give it five stars, but I definitely can't do that. read more

New owners/menu from scratch cooking and it is SO good. We've been twice since the re-opening. We've gotten the Philly Mac egg rolls twice bc we love them. First time we went we were kind of boring and got a Chicken Cesar salad and the club. They were great, but the second time we went...whew. The customer service not so great took 15 to get noticed, then never got silverware so we got it ourselves. My order was incorrect ave I had to send it back. Ingredients not high quality and my husbands eggs were undercooked Most likely will not return. read more

I remember coming here a long time ago when I was a child, like 20 years ago. When I moved back and came across this restaurant, I knew I had to come back. The food is good. The service was really good. It has a good family restaurant with a bar type vibe. It was kind of loud but nothing too terrible. My only complaint is that the wait times can be a bit much. I tried numerous times to eat there but the wait times were too long. I have seen, regularly, people just literally waiting out in the parking lot for a table. Once we finally did get in, it took a little while to get our food as they were very busy. But the food overall was good; typical bar food; sandwiches, burgers, etc. read more

Went for dinner with 5 people. We sat on the back patio, and ordered dinner. It was a Friday night and they were busy, but no wait for a table. After waiting an hour for our food, we noticed that tables around us, who had arrived after us were eating. We asked our waitress if our food was coming and what was going on. She looked surprised, and said she would go find out. 10 min later she finally returned to inform us, she was new and had messed up. She had never rung in our food orders, and she had just put it in now. She flippantly said "sorry, but it just got put in now, so unfortunately you will have to wait a little longer." It's now 1hour 10 min into our time and she is barely apologetic. Because of her non apology and lack of concern at all I asked if her manager knew the what was going on, and if they would compensate us in any way. She said she would ask and disappeared. 15 min later 2 of the 5 meals we ordered were delivered by another waitress. We waited and additional 10 min for the 3 final meals, again delivered by another waitress. So a little over 1.5 hours. One of us was missing a side salad, and mentioned it to the other, different waitress. She said ok and left. She never brought it, and our original waitress never comes to check on us, see if we need anything. At this point she was likely avoiding us. We are nearly done eating our original waitress finally approached and brings the bill, and we mention the salad to her which she finally brings. It wade almost 2 hours from when we arrived. Finally, No discount of any was given of any kind on the bill, and no other apologies or any mention of the fact that our dinner was a train wreck from start to finish. No manager ever came and spoke to us. Nothing. We paid and left, but felt super frustrated by the whole experience. Having worked in the restaurant industry before I am still appalled. That's just not how customers should be treated. read more

Stopped in this middle-of-nowhere restaurant about 1 pm. Not crowded, at least on the diner side, which has the retro 50's decor. The connected bar part looked very different. I had a full dinner which was good. Smothered chicken breast, mashed potatoes, garden fresh green beans. Partner had a burger, says it was good - had lots of bacon on it. Once again, finding an out-of-the-way local place was successful. Get off the main roads and avoid the franchises! read more
