11/17/2023 Ordered breakfast to pick up - very helpful over the phone. Homemade biscuits are out of sight, light and fluffy with good, bread flavor, not like those dense, over-processed pucks of dried flour gobs. Real deal here. Sausage gravy is really quite good, though you may want to salt it. (Personally, I prefer unsalty (though still savory) food so I can salt to taste myself, so I really loved the food here. It's not un-salted, just not over-salted. Over-salted food is just a cover-up for lack of flavor and skills. Breakfast burrito was done perfectly! Eggs weren't overdone, bacon and hashbrowns were still crispy, good size so I had leftovers... Mmmm...STRAIGHT FIRE!! Very nice group of ladies behind the counter! Great food. Hand breaded with potato chips chicken sandwich and chicken and rice soup. Soup was awesome perfectly homemade with flavor . Chicken rocked needed a condiment with a kick . Garlic aioli for example . But good stuff . Smart ass servers so don't come with your panties in a bunch or it might hurt . Family style restaurant with a old school trucker vibe and smart ass signs. read more

This is a hometown diner with friendly staff and good food. I can only speak for the corned beef hash, hash browns and eggs, but the waitress asked if I wanted the corned beef crunchy, and it came as requested. This is a greater attention to detail than many restaurants. Definitely worth a try read more

Everything at this restaurant is extremely good, the atmosphere is very relaxing and homie and feels like a restaurant you would see in a movie from the 50's. That being said, i would definitely recommend eating here in the mornings. read more

I feel bad being the first not to give it a 5 star rating, but I have a set of standards that I have to apply fairly, to all places, even local ones. It is the best priced, nicest place around, nearest to it in quality and value is Jennie Raes, right up the road.I have only been to the diner this one time, and I like it . Friendly staff and no waiting to order. Do not order the fried cod basket. They reminded me of fish sticks I'd be forced to eat as a kid except these were 3" × 3" square. I would bet they were frozen for some time as the edges were hard as rocks. The saving part of the dish was the sweet potato fries. The 3 stars are for the cleanliness of the place and the staff. May give it another chance for dinner and try some of the pie in the pictures on Yelp. read more
