Went on a Friday night and the line got kinda long by like 9:45 as expected. I didn't think the…read morewait was too bad though. Tacos were $2.50 like most of the other trucks/stands that I've been to in the area and super good. I also liked that they cucumbers with some sort of salsa on them instead of just plain cucumbers I liked both the cabeza and the pastor a lot, but suadero was the one that stood out to me the most compared to previous tacos that I've had. Def recommend giving suadero a try if you haven't yet! Two of my friends tried it for the first time and liked it a lot. Only thing that would've made it better is if the pastor taco came with pineapple

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Their salsa is one of our favorite parts--it's flavorful with a good spicy kick. Our usual order: Carne Asada - 7/10 Tender, but a little on the dry side. Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Although the surrounding street is fairly quiet in the evening, it's an easy and convenient stop if you're craving authentic street tacos.

This year's 6 to 6 event at the Orange County Fairgrounds seem to have less vendors both on the…read morefood side and on the product side. The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

Eddie was kind enough to offer a tasting since we had never tasted their popsicles before, and we wanted to figure out what flavors we should get. All of their flavors sounded so darn amazing! We were able to choose 6 to try, and let's just say our tasting was one of the best breakfasts I've had! :oD It was hard to finish every popsicle before tasting the next, but I wasn't about to leave that yumminess behind for the trash to enjoy. So, I took our leftovers (4 popsicles!) and had a popsicle party in the car! After the tasting, we decided that we really didn't need to offer both ice cream and popsicles at our wedding anymore. Paloma's Paletas would satisfy ice cream lovers since some of the flavors are on the creamy side (i.e. Banana Milkshake). When it came time to decide how many flavors + how many of each flavor to purchase for our number of guests, Eddie gave us some solid guidance...that we ended up disregarding since we're gluttons and had to get 3x the number of flavors and 2.5x the number actual popsicles. :op We were fully prepared - and excited - to bring home a sh*t ton of leftovers for us to enjoy over the next few months. Here's what we chose (all mini version which are the perfect size so you can try other flavors): - Banana Milkshake (my absolute fave!!!) - Chamango (many of guests' fave) - Vietnamese Iced Coffee (my hubby's and bro-in-law's fave) - Mexican Hot Chocolate (love the hint of spice in this!) - Pineapple Mint Mojito (my second fave - love the fresh mint leaves. So so refreshing.) One of the great things about their popsicles is that they only use all-natural ingredients. We were going for a "fresh ingredient" theme in our catering, so these were perfect for us. On the day of the wedding, it turned out that Eddie was also our cart attendant - yay! Thank goodness they include an umbrella when you opt in for the cart, and thank goodness Eddie is so cool that he can keep smiling through a scorching hot afternoon. We're so thankful to him for contributing to a very special day. We still have popsicles in our freezer and are still enjoying every bite! If you're looking for a cool treat for any event, this is the way to go! You can be sure we'll be purchasing more in the future. :oD PS - The co-founder Carol was a pleasure to work with, too, when it came time for payments. You can tell they're down-to-earth folks doing what they love.
