CASH ONLY, they also take Zelle. Little bakery but also a taco and burrito shop! I ordered carne asada and al pastor tacos. I also tried out their giant conchas! $1.50 per taco and $1.50 for a concha! I would say for $1.50 a taco this place is pretty worth it! They are street taco size but they really stuff it! I liked the al pastor better, had more flavor and came with pineapple bits! The concha was decent, I'm not a huge bakery guy, it had nice flavor and wasn't overly sweet,'it was a little dry for me. I definitely recommend the tacos! I'll be back to try a burrito ($9). They also have this jalapeño cheese bread that looks good but we're unfortunately sold out.

Chelos Panaderia is one of those hidden OC gems that you almost don't want to tell people about because it's that good. Their pan dulce is always fresh, soft, and full of that classic, comforting Mexican bakery flavor -- conchas, empanadas, cookies, all the hits done right. The pastry case is stacked with options, and the prices make it way too easy to grab a whole box without thinking twice. But the real curveball? Their tacos. Hands down some of the best-priced tacos in Orange County, and somehow the flavor goes even harder than the value. The carne asada and al pastor come out hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, like the kind of street-style tacos you remember from the best neighborhood spots. Between the killer pastries, the shockingly affordable tacos, and the authentic vibe, Chelos hooks you up with the kind of food that hits your soul without emptying your wallet.

Bomb ass food!!!!

Food and service excellent. This is a hole in the wall Bakery that serves different varieties of tacos burritos tamales and pastries. Today was my first time stopping in after driving by here for over 20 years. Glad I did. I had 3 Al pastor tacos and jalapeño cheese tamale. One single serve flan and Mexican jello cup. Total cost $12 Beware it is cash or Zella only for payment. No big deal. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Blessed to live 3 minutes away! Amazing Pan, Burritos and people. It's a small location but has a couple of tables outside. Plenty of parking as well. The most affordable Pan de Dulce I have encounter in a decade.

There needs to be more than 5 stars available for this panaderia. I've lived right by here for 13 years and I CANNOT BELIEVE I NEVER CAME IN! You know I really shouldn't be writing this review, I really don't need this place to blow up and make it difficult to come to...but I'm doing this as an act of service to you, the reader. You're welcome :) The tacos here were as good as anyone else's, in fact better than most, and only $1.50/taco. The tortillas tasted homemade, but if they're store bought, they're still extremely fresh and I'd bet still hand made. I typically do not like corn tortillas, but I could eat their corn tortillas all day. They're soft, but hold together just enough to keep most of the meat contained. The carne asada was juicy, but not greasy, that's a tough thing to achieve! I had the infernio salsa and it really just sealed the deal of deliciousness! The salsa was fairly hot, but not painful to eat. If you're craving tacos, this is the place to come!

Taco, tamale, bean and rice

Located in a corner of a shopping center. This place serves great food with exceptional service. Taco was well seasoned, the beans and rice not greasy and the tamale hit the spot. Next time I'm going to add Al Pastor or Asada on top of the tamale with onion and cilantro "Con Todo" lol .

The pricing which is also a steal for what you get!

This place is a hidden gem for their carne asada tacos and their amazing customer service! The gentleman who took my order was so friendly and helpful. Both my husband and I loved the carne asada tacos! They are street size but packed with meat. They are very tender and flavorful. The green salsa is also very good. I highly recommend this place.

I finally had an opportunity to visit and try this place this morning. Got there about 10:45am Saturday morning. They start making their tacos and burritos at 11am. I waited a few minutes to try a variety of their tacos. All were tasty . My favorites - pollo and shredded beef. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and patient to explain the variety of pastries they had. I ended up with a pumpkin, custard, and pineapple filled ones. A sweet bread and sweet cookie like pastry. I had a chance to try a hot drink with cinnamon. A small and clean establishment that provides freshly made Mexican pastries, tacos, and burritos to the locals.. They also have burritos in their fridge in a hurry along with cold drinks and desserts. Yummy food provided with friendly and awesome customer service. They are a few doors from Matsu.

CARNE ASADA

Carne asada and carnitas tacos were really good. I've also had the al pastor tacos and chicken and cheese tamales.

This place is dirty and old. The bread is old and the taste like like a day or two old. I don't know how they sell old bread.

Do they sell individual tres leches cake slice?

Yes, I call before I go to make sure they still have some, because they do sell out of it sometimes.

Do they carry Bolillo salado?

As soon as you step in, you know you're walking into a gourmet cookie shop -- super clean and elegant. The girl helping me was so sweet and guided me through the menu since it was my first time. I ended up getting two Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt (because that's exactly what I was craving), a Tres Leches on her recommendation that it tasted like a churro, and the Biscoff Chip because I'm a Biscoff fan and was curious. The Biscoff was good. I wish it had some kind of nut, like almonds or macadamia in it for texture with the white chocolate, but it was still delicious! The Tres Leches was the winner for me -- ooey, gooey, and it really did taste like a churro! Amazinggg But the Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt is like old reliable. You can never go wrong with that cookie! If you're a gooey cookie lover like me, then this place is yours and my new fav cookie spot! Just make sure you've got a glass of milk ready!

I ended up getting off early so I called and asked if it would be available for 5PM. The associate told me "No it won't be ready, it would be ready closer to 6:30." We then agreed that I could stop by closer to their closing time (9pm) since I don't live in the area. I could drive home then come back to pick it up. I arrived at 8:15PM, the associate tells me when I arrive "I'm so sorry it's not ready, I thought you'd be here closer to 8:45PM." I say "No worries I'll come back at 8:45PM." I come back to pick up the cake. It comes out hot and newly decorated with icing. 10 minutes down the road I check the cake, and the icing is completely melted. By then it's 9pm and I can't turn around to go back to the store. The next morning around 11am I called the store to speak with the manager. I leave my contact info, and I receive a call within 20 minutes from the store manager, Dustin. I explain the situation and how the cake is not presentable anymore for the birthday event I ordered it for. He apologizes and offers a dozen cookies or a refund. Since there's no time for me to drive back to Huntington Beach for a party that is in Pasadena within the next hour, we opt for the refund and Dustin states, "This is my personal number, I'll shoot you a text when that refund goes through." A week later, no refund, no communication, no follow-up. I called Dustin one more time, left a voicemail and one additional text just incase. Over the course of several days, still no response. Suffice to say, it is what it is. I just wanted a refund for the cake that I bought which I ended up not even bringing to the event I got it for because of the melted icing. TLDR: product wasn't ready at the time it was agreed upon to be ready, when product was picked up it was faulty, the manager offered a refund that never came and ghosted me
