As soon as you step in, you know you're walking into a gourmet cookie shop -- super clean and elegant. The girl helping me was so sweet and guided me through the menu since it was my first time. I ended up getting two Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt (because that's exactly what I was craving), a Tres Leches on her recommendation that it tasted like a churro, and the Biscoff Chip because I'm a Biscoff fan and was curious. The Biscoff was good. I wish it had some kind of nut, like almonds or macadamia in it for texture with the white chocolate, but it was still delicious! The Tres Leches was the winner for me -- ooey, gooey, and it really did taste like a churro! Amazinggg But the Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt is like old reliable. I have frequented this location a few times and never had a poor experience until I recently ordered a birthday cookie cake. I placed an order for a Friday pickup at 6:30PM. I ended up getting off early so I called and asked if it would be available for 5PM. The associate told me "No it won't be ready, it would be ready closer to 6:30." We then agreed that I could stop by closer to their closing time (9pm) since I don't live in the area. I could drive home then come back to pick it up. I arrived at 8:15PM, the associate tells me when I arrive "I'm so sorry it's not ready, I thought you'd be here closer to 8:45PM." I say "No worries I'll come back at 8:45PM." I come back to pick up the cake. It comes out hot and newly decorated with icing. 10 minutes down the road I check the cake, and the icing is completely melted. By then it's 9pm and I can't turn around to go back to the store. The next morning around 11am I called the store to speak with the manager. I leave my contact info, and I receive a call within 20 minutes from the store manager, Dustin. I explain the situation and how the cake is not presentable anymore for the birthday event I ordered it for. He apologizes and offers a dozen cookies or a refund. Since there's no time for me to drive back to Huntington Beach for a party that is in Pasadena within the next hour, we opt for the refund and Dustin states, "This is my personal number, I'll shoot you a text when that refund goes through." A week later, no refund, no communication, no follow-up. I called Dustin one more time, left a voicemail and one additional text just incase. Over the course of several days, still no response. Suffice to say, it is what it is. I just wanted a refund for the cake that I bought which I ended up not even bringing to the event I got it for because of the melted icing. I love the cookies and have no complaints on the quality. I would give this 5 stars based on the cookies alone. Best cookies in town! We have gone in there three times for the cookie of the week and it wasn't available. One time it was for Easter and they told me that they couldn't provide me with the Easter cookie because they wanted to make sure they had enough ingredients for the following day. So we were denied the cookies that they should have made so that they could make sure somebody the following day could purchase the cookies that I was willing to pay for now. This wasn't at the end of the day either. The other problem I have is that I have only ever ordered the cookies that are advertised on the app and the display cookies. When I am charged I am always charged for customization. If I order a sugar cookie they charge me for sprinkles and or frosting. The Tres Leches cookie and the BTS cookie are on the app as advertised cookies. I am always charged something like $1.50 extra for them. I don't ask for any customization. Another very popular cookie company in town doesn't charge extra for toppings that make the cookie what it is. These cookies are already pretty pricey and then adding $1.50 to each cookie doesn't really make it worth it. I would go a lot more if I wasn't charged extra for buying a cookie as advertised. read more

Chip is SO GOOD. If you like a doughier cookie, this is your spot. And while a cookie is around $5, it's more like 2-3 cookies packed into one because of the size, density, and richness. I've tried their Biscoff, OG, Cocoa, Red Velvet, Choc Chip. All are decadent and delicious. I am not a fan of overly sweet desserts, and while these are definitely rich, they are not sugary. It's more of a buttery richness which is far better than sugary. We've been here twice and usually get the 4-pack. The cookies last a few days because they're so large, and they taste just as fresh on days 2 and 3. Younger daughter was disappointed that the cookie store wasn't open until 11 AM the day that she was in the shopping center. Older sister had to pick up groceries and thought to go to the cookie store to get some cookies for her younger sister. We were greeted upon entering. While the man that greeted us attended to a mother and young child customers, a young lady stepped up to help us and introduced us to the cookies that they had at the moment. We finalized on the OG, the biscoff, the semi-sweet chocolate, and a peppermint sugar with in-house cream cheese frosting. It seems as if the cookies had just come out of the oven. They were baking others. We passed by the toppings bar on the way to the cash register. Because it is the holiday season there are Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree. Also available for sale are gift bags of three OG's with a red bow. The interior of the store is clean. We took pamphlets for possible catering and special ordering.
