The wait was a bit long, they did not have enough staff, they had to turn away customers and/or told them there would be a 10-15 min. wait since there's 5 drinks he had to make prior to any other orders. Additionally, there was no mention that each dip and topping would be $1 extra per side and the menu board was a bit confusing displaying any type of information such as this. Ok, so I've never had this before but I've seen them at a few places. My date and I came here, Sunday, after church, after eating at Primecut Taqueria... and I was craving some ice cream. This concept is genius! So many options! He got the pistachio pop bar and I ended up trying the lavender pop bar with Vanilla White chocolate drizzled on both sides and waffle cone topping on one side AND hazelnuts on the other side! Popbar has been a long time favorite of mine! I usually get Pistachio popGelato with Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut and White Chocolate Drizzle. I've also had a Vanilla Sundae popGelato. Sometimes I get Matcha. I would go out of my way to come here. The pistachio flavor is amazing, it's my favorite! Ok I haven't tried every single flavor to say it's the best but I have tried some others, they are good but so far I've liked pistachio the most. Green Tea is my second favorite. Vanilla is good too but not my top choice. Get any flavor you want, you can't go wrong, they'll all be good. I like that the ice cream is hard enough to stay on a stick but once you bite into it, it's nice and soft and chewy, creamy, has a good bite, not overly hard. I love that you can dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sides on top, these are a must do. I don't know any other ice cream place that sells ice cream on a stick like this, it's very unique here. This one is located in Lot 579 at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Lot 579 is a food hall and Pacific City is a shopping plaza. It's right across from Huntington State Beach, walkable distance, love that. There is a big parking structure. It's free with validation for the first 2-3 hours depending on the day you go. If you pass this time, you'll have to pay. They offer parking validation here. Service is really friendly. There is some seating inside. You could also go outside and sit at the blocks in Pacific City or just walk around and eat. The inside and outside is very nice, casual yet modern. I think price is fair accounting for inflation, I think the ice cream bar is big but not too big, a good size with the right price, worth it. read more

They were all so refreshing and delicious. The piña colada was so fresh and their tea's were not too strong but enough to taste the tea flavors. The staff was also super sweet! Fun concept, and I really liked the toppings. The quality of the actual gelato bar itself, though, I found sub-par. I got vanilla and I usually like vanilla ice cream bars with chocolate coatings etc - but the vanilla was quite bland and icy - not creamy at all. A bit confusing because the menu showed a price of $4.50 for a bar, but perhaps the drizzle and toppings were extra. The drinks itself hit the sweet spot, and if you're not much of a sweet person, their other drinks tastes so good. Their pearls are so sweet and chewy, and I have been addicted to them for a while! PB has several popsicle flavors to pick from (~10), then you pick a dip and add some crunch! I tried the peanut butter with milk chocolate and coconut for an Almond Joy feel but was surprised to like the matcha green tea with MINT CHOCOLATE and almonds even more. I got the green tea gelato pop, and made it into a popwich, sandwiched between two chocolate biscuits, dipped in white chocolate and milk chocolate, topped with waffle pieces and hazelnut. The other one was a mango sherbet dipped in white chocolate and covered with waffle pieces. I'm usually sweets over tart, so I clearly preferred the green tea popwich.
