The wait was a bit long, they did not have enough staff, they had to turn away customers and/or told them there would be a 10-15 min. wait since there's 5 drinks he had to make prior to any other orders. Additionally, there was no mention that each dip and topping would be $1 extra per side and the menu board was a bit confusing displaying any type of information such as this. Ok, so I've never had this before but I've seen them at a few places. My date and I came here, Sunday, after church, after eating at Primecut Taqueria... and I was craving some ice cream. This concept is genius! So many options! He got the pistachio pop bar and I ended up trying the lavender pop bar with Vanilla White chocolate drizzled on both sides and waffle cone topping on one side AND hazelnuts on the other side! Popbar has been a long time favorite of mine! I usually get Pistachio popGelato with Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut and White Chocolate Drizzle. I've also had a Vanilla Sundae popGelato. Sometimes I get Matcha. I would go out of my way to come here. The pistachio flavor is amazing, it's my favorite! Ok I haven't tried every single flavor to say it's the best but I have tried some others, they are good but so far I've liked pistachio the most. Green Tea is my second favorite. Vanilla is good too but not my top choice. Get any flavor you want, you can't go wrong, they'll all be good. I like that the ice cream is hard enough to stay on a stick but once you bite into it, it's nice and soft and chewy, creamy, has a good bite, not overly hard. I love that you can dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sides on top, these are a must do. I don't know any other ice cream place that sells ice cream on a stick like this, it's very unique here. This one is located in Lot 579 at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Lot 579 is a food hall and Pacific City is a shopping plaza. It's right across from Huntington State Beach, walkable distance, love that. There is a big parking structure. It's free with validation for the first 2-3 hours depending on the day you go. If you pass this time, you'll have to pay. They offer parking validation here. Service is really friendly. There is some seating inside. You could also go outside and sit at the blocks in Pacific City or just walk around and eat. The inside and outside is very nice, casual yet modern. I think price is fair accounting for inflation, I think the ice cream bar is big but not too big, a good size with the right price, worth it. read more

Was craving a sweet treat and stumbled upon Popbar while walking to BearFlag. I've been to a Popbar once for their popsicles but never their drinks. I was a bit hesitant since they're known for popsicles and not their drinks but was definitely pleased. We got a green thai tea, piña colada and peach green tea. They were all so refreshing and delicious. The piña colada was so fresh and their tea's were not too strong but enough to taste the tea flavors. The staff was also super sweet! I got vanilla and I usually like vanilla ice cream bars with chocolate coatings etc - but the vanilla was quite bland and icy - not creamy at all. I got the vanilla so the ice cream wouldn't overpower the flavors of the toppings, but if I were to return again, I would perhaps recommend trying a flavored gelato. read more

I decided to customize my own treat, choosing Birthday gelato as a base and chocolate caramel dip, waffle cone topping, and white chocolate drizzle. It was ready within a minute, and it was $6. A bit confusing because the menu showed a price of $4.50 for a bar, but perhaps the drizzle and toppings were extra. I'm not sure and didn't bother to ask since so many kids and families were waiting in line. The popsicle tasted really good, and I'd be back to try their other flavors. read more

I haven't had the actual bars itself, but the boba at Popbar is genuinely the best boba I've ever had. It's also one of the best prices I've seen especially with the quality and taste! The drinks itself hit the sweet spot, and if you're not much of a sweet person, their other drinks tastes so good. Their pearls are so sweet and chewy, and I have been addicted to them for a while! The staff are so understanding and kind, and they let you sit while they bring the drinks out for you. It's a small area, and could be easy to miss, but it's a really great place for boba! read more

I love that they have a lot of vegan options - sorbet flavors and even vegan dark chocolate!
