What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

As a Vietnamese person, the menu screamed contemporary, flavorful, and new, and I wanted to try all of it. The host was friendly and prepped us for a 30 minute wait that ended up lasting maybe 10. It may have helped that we weren't too picky about spots and ended up getting seats at the bar, which gave us easy access to the already attentive bartenders. We had a great view into the kitchen and saw all the lively happenings. Before I even talk about food: the 80s-90s Vietnamese New Wave music was incredible. I was hearing songs that I hadn't heard in years (decades!) and couldn't believe I was recognizing these hits from my childhood. That alone set the atmosphere for what Tam Tam was trying to create: a modern vibe with layers of true Vietnamese-American culture while still using traditional Vietnamese flavors. It was truly a great way to enjoy and connect with the ambiance in a way that I hadn't anywhere else ever before. -Grilled oysters: delicious. Came out covered in a delicious hollandaise and some scallion oil. Savory and unique. -Grilled escarole: this is an outdated review, so I don't think this is on the menu anymore which is a damn shame because this was my favorite dish. It had all the quintessential Vietnamese flavors: toasty dried shrimp, scallion oil, dipping fish sauce - it was irresistible and just a great reflection of how Vietnamese people can make the simplest vegetables so damn tasty. -Chicken wings: still very popular. Do not skip this. We were on a Miami restaurant crawl, so after those few dishes, we headed off to our next stop and let me tell ya, we were full of regret that we left. Should've just stayed, said to hell with everything else, and ordered the rest of the menu.

Our server Carolina, was a sweet heart and gave us the perfect recommendations on what to eat and try. The drinks were all made by her and were delicious. The management was going around making sure everything was up to everyone's standards. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone especially for a date night in Miami. P.S- Parking was pretty easy to find if you get there early around 5-6pm but after that it gets pretty packed so make sure to make reservations online. Thank you so much! Google said they have good $10 happy hour eats and drinks, but they didn't have any of the food options when I went. The cocktails were great! A super cute bartender made them and served them up to us at this dimly lit bar. So dimly lit we could barely read the menu and I'm not old, I swear! Lol. I'm not even sure what it is that we ordered, kind of like a ceviche meets guacamole. I think it was good, I'm honestly not sure. It was fatty, almost buttery, my date didn't like that. It came with some kind of chip that broke really easily. The marinated cucumber dish was pretty solid though. I'd get that again. I have friends in the area, so I'll likely try it again, but there will be many other places that I'll be trying first.

The restaurant can only hold 2-3 people inside but it's really tight. 2 people is convenient. If you have a party of 3 or more people, you will be told to utilize the outdoor seating. The outdoor seating, The tables, chair, and many things like the menu, the sauce containers, and etc, indoor and the outdoors are really sticky, unclean and unsanitary, in my opinion. The water cups are really old and undesirable to use. My suggestion is to use the disposable chopsticks and anything disposable. The food is really Bland and small portion. It's bland that I had to shower it with sriracha. You would probably be really angry when it's serve to you specifically if you're really hungry. Comparing the portions of the bowl of pho is just about a yay size bigger than a Maruchan Ramen you would get in a one serving bag, not the cup. Average price of pho is $25.00 per bowl. 8 People came to about $215. Tip is included or mandatory. Customer service is noticeably unwelcoming. The server spoke to us only at the order taking, food delivery, and asking for their CHECK. The level of customer service is similar or about the same as many other customers came while we were eating. I would not express whether to recommend it or not, but please do check for yourself, as I'm sure they also need to make money to pay for their expenses. If you like the restaurant, please give them support as I'm certain that staffs work very hard to keep their business running. This review is not to offense anyone especially the owner but rather to convey a constructive criticism. Business Improvement is welcome so that they can thrive. Thank you for understanding.

The food is just as delicious as it was on day one, the prices are reasonable, and the quality has never slipped. If anything, it's only gotten better. I recently tried a very well-known Vietnamese spot out west, and honestly? It didn't even come close. Their summer rolls and flavors don't hold a candle to this place. This is hands-down the best Vietnamese food in Miami, no contest. And definitely the best and most delicious PHO! What makes it extra special is the people. The owners greet me like family every time I walk in. They genuinely get excited to see me, we sit and talk while I eat, and it always feels warm, personal, and real. It's a small mom-and-pop restaurant, but that's exactly why it's magic. This place feels whole. It feels more intimate with a real taste of Vietnam not like some of these lavish outrageously expensive restaurants. This is the one.!!!!! This is my go-to. Always has been, always will be. Number one Vietnamese restaurant in all of Miami. Big hug and shout out to Kri
