I will say that I was a little confused when I arrived because I wasn't expecting it to be a food truck. turns out they used to have another brick-and-mortar location, but the building got bought and they had to vacate head, so they're currently one of the food trucks in a little food truck park. The food truck area has good vibes, though very limited parking! (I walked from down the street a block.) The staff of Nude Pita are SO nice. The owner actually took my order that day, and we chatted while my food was being made since there was nobody else in line at the time. She told me her story and her dreams and her love for sharing her food with people... We went last year also. The place was well attended today. We ordered the Conch and Shrimp dish, which is a popular dish in the Carribean countries as well as in Florida. Our first group of employees started making the line and placing their orders at 11:15 am. The second group started making the line at 12:00 pm, behind the first group. Unfortunately, there were several other things that went wrong. 1.) I helped them put ketchup in the individual containers because they hadn't prepared them in advance. 2.) I passed out the churros and beverages because the food truck employees were overwhelmed. 3.) They didn't have enough beverages for the 115 guests so we had to provide more. 4.) They didn't offer salad dressing to the guests that ordered salads. 5.) Our guests had to wait 45-50 minutes in line. When I informed the owner that our employees didn't have good experience due to the reasons mentioned above, he made excuses, then he started yelling at me. I had heard all the rave about how fresh and delicious his ceviche is I contacted him to see if he does catering for the north Miami area. We spoke 3 days before my event, Marcelo replied by text within 40 mins. He delivered as promised! We ordered a large pan of the whitefish ceviche that was accompanied by the Peruvian corn and sweet potato. He drove up to our home, popped open his window and prepared our ceviche right on the spot.
