    Burnt ends cheesesteak
    Matt R.

Possibly the worst concession food I've ever eaten in a stadium ever. I mean ever. Currently averaging 35 sporting events a year in person across the US and serving this is an absolute abomination. Hands down. Aramark and the Phillies should be ashamed of this. Disgusting, super chewy, tough, not tender. The absolute opposite of melt in your mouth brisket.

The burnt end cheesesteak with gouda cheese is very good. It is packed with smokey flavors and at $17.95 not ridiculously priced for being in CBP. On my recent visit to the Phillies game I tried Bulls Mexican street corn. This was very good with a little heat. There are a lot of choices now at CPB when watching the Phightins, but Bull's is an excellent one. It is also easy to find, just follow the smoked BBQ aroma.

It's not every day that you get to meet a sports legend, especially a local hero like Greg Luzinski, a Philadelphia Phillies historic player who has remained on the scene at Citizens Bank Park to oversee Bull's BBQ, one of the numerous excellent food vendors on the concourse on the first level of the stadium. But, there he was big as life, greeting fans, giving autographs and posing for selfies with the throng. Easy going and self effacing, he seemed a little uncomfortable with all the attention despite all his success. That is a big part of why people love him. And, the food his shop puts out is also tremendous. From racks of ribs, kielbasa, turkey sandwiches and the popular huge turkey legs and Mexican corn, the menu is unusual for a ball park, and spectacular to consume. My buddy, a season ticket holder, promised his wife that he would bring home a leg for her, and admitted that he wouldn't be as welcomed home if he forgot it. So, while I munched on an excellent turkey sandwich, he tore apart a dark roasted Turkey leg with is bare hands, wolfing it down with intense merriment. It was obvious this excitement was a big part of his reason for loving baseball and the Phillies. The aroma was overpowering. Next visit to The Bank, I'm thinking about those ribs and corn. There are other places to score tasty treats around the stadium, but Bull's sure has a special thing going on.

Burnt Ends Cheesesteak ($16) five bites, cold, but the best cubed and spicy steak you'll get. Worth the walk. Do it.

This is a must stop here if you are headed to Phillies' ballpark. Enter at the left field gate for quick access. Get the "burnt ends" cheesesteak for an amazing savory treat. At $16 each, the sandwich is about the size of a small hot dog bun, about five bites of meat. Worth it! Get two. Lots of other stuff on the menu too. Immediate hightop seating right next to the cashier with televisions broadcasting the game if you don't want to take them back to your seat, or if you've ordered a platter of food on a flimsy plate that won't make it back to your seat. With a $22 beer, you're well on your way to ballpark bliss!!! Go team!!! Tip: escalator also right next to the eating area to take you right up to your suite, hall of fame box, or the upper decks.

You don't get what you pay for here.

Pricing is out of line for this food. Plus AVOID the Burnt Ends Cheesesteaks. Mine was 50% cubed of FAT and the meat that there was was hardly burnt. I know it's the end of the season and all but please, for nearly $20 I'd expect more. To be fair I did speak with a supervisor who threw out the 6-8 cubes of fat and replaced it with actual meat. But only after she claimed I had "eaten the whole sandwich"... well, if I paid $20 for meat (and a mess of cheese) I'd expect meat!

Got the burnt ends hoagie 15 pieces of cubed meat, 3 were all fatty pieces. Paid $33.00 with two sides and a soda. Very disappointing!!

Not only was Greg Luzinski one of my childhood sports heroes, but the food at Bull's BBQ is really good, especially the Bull Dog.

Because we were a large party we shared a bunch of the family style trays which ended up being perfect. Meat highlights were the juicy brisket and flavorful pulled pork - on a Hawaiian roll this was absolute perfection. The best sides were the burnt end beans and the mac and cheese. The vibes are fun and lively and they have an extensive list of beer, wine and cocktail. The negroni was so smooth that I had to order a second. Because of its proximity to The Fillmore this is a great pick for a pre-concert dinner. For epic bbq and good vibes you gotta get to Fette Sau.

The food didn't come out all at once which was a little awkward since we were in a group. One person in our group ended up waiting 15 minutes longer than everyone else to get her food. The pulled pork sandwich was okay. Not the best I've ever had but decent. The Pigs in a Clover was a ton of food. Definitely could feed 4. The sides were better in my opinion than the meat itself. We loved the slaw, Mac, and potato salad. The half sour pickle was a little weird although I guess it did live up to its name. Tastes like a cucumber that isn't quite a pickle yet. The pulled pork was standard. The ribs were very smokey and charred but a little tough. Flavor of the meat was good just not standout. Overall I would come back here especially because the vibes are very cozy, inviting, family friendly, and warm.

The dish was simple but delivered exactly what I wanted in a quick, filling Hawaiian Style meal! I really enjoyed that it was easy to order from Mahalo Hawaiian BBQ. They have large portions with great flavor, and they are super simple to get an enjoyable lunch. We didn't eat it at the restaurant. We had it at the office. We're never great at eating our money's worth, so the pay-as-you-go setup felt like a better fit. We got the favorite set for two, which ended up being plenty. The biggest highlight right away: they grill everything for you. KBBQ is just better when you can sit back and eat instead of managing the grill yourself. They also use a back grill to keep things moving, so there's barely any pause between rounds of meat. It felt really efficient. Also, the place is surprisingly clean and doesn't have that heavy "you're going to smell like smoke for the next 5 hours" vibe, which I really appreciated. Somehow they keep it all under control even with constant grilling. Service-wise, the staff were attentive and clearly working hard, especially since it seemed a bit understaffed. That said, my friend did feel a little uncomfortable at times. There were a few moments where it felt like we were being watched closely, almost like they were worried about a dine-and-dash situation, and we were asked multiple times if we had paid. I personally read it more as things being slightly disorganized with a small team juggling cooking, serving, and payments, but I can see how it might come across differently depending on how you interpret it. Food-wise, the meat was very good, but the banchan really stood out to me. The cabbage salad with a gingery soy dressing was super refreshing and cut through the richness of the meat perfectly. Free refills on banchan are always a win too. I also liked that the grill came with corn cheese, egg, and sprouts, nice extras you don't always get. The corn cheese wasn't as sweet as I expected, and the egg was a bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. The tilted grill setup was another plus since it lets the grease drain away, so the meal didn't feel overly heavy like some AYCE spots. Overall, it was a really fun experience. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and how easy the whole meal felt. Just something to be aware of with the service dynamic depending on how sensitive you are to that kind of thing.
