The staff and management were very inviting and kind. My husband ordered the Soto Ayam Indonesian soup with chicken and I ordered the spring special of Beef bulgogi Asian fusion bowl with pickles and ginger. His soup was flavorful, not particularly spicy. He savored every sip and bite. My rice bowl was very tasty and had great textures from the crunchy pickles to the tender beef. Highly recommend!

It's…read moredefinitely been all over social media, so I was excited to try it and while there were some highlights, it didn't completely live up to the hype for me. The food itself was really enjoyable. My bowl was loaded with fresh fruit and left me wanting more, and the matcha with fresh strawberries was fresh, and flavorful. That said, the overall vibe inside felt a bit flat compared to what I expected. It wasn't that the service was lacking, the staff were perfectly pleasant, but the energy just didn't match the buzz you see online, and it felt surprisingly quiet. It's also on the pricier side for what you get, which made the experience feel a little less worth it. Overall, Locals Amsterdam has some tasty offerings and is worth trying if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return given the hype and pricing.
