Fell in love the aesthetics of this restaurant. We got there around 1130ish and had to wait about 10-15 mins. No big deal at all. We were help by multiple waitress on seating and ordering and they were all very sweet and patience. Now let's get the food!! Perfect matches. The pancakes were like no other pancake I've tasted before. Very fluffy but not soggy. Very flavorful, nothing was too sweet or salty. We ended up ordering the same meal, and neither one of were disappointed. Our drinks were both a great taste and presentation was amazing. Food took less than 15 mins to come to the table. I would say the earlier you get there the better by time we got seated a line was building. I literally don't have any complaints and would love to come back. read more

My group came here to get some nice, fluffy pancakes for breakfast. We were not disappointed, as these pancakes tasted great and had perfect texture! Most of us went with the sweet options but even the savory pancakes were great. Think maybe the only one that didn't hit quite as well was the taco pancake. It's a unique concept and looked cool, but it just didn't feel as good as cutting into the pancakes and eating them in a stack. Service was nice and quick, and while there was a minor hiccup in the itemization of our order (extra item added by mistake) they fixed it very quickly and with no hassle. I heard about Mr. Stacks through Top Jaw's YouTube Channel, and it did not disappoint. As someone who's not vegan, I seriously didn't notice anything "lacking" at this vegan pancake spot. Both the Apple Pie and the Chocolate Hazelnut stacks were delicious--even the fruit on the side was fresh and brightened each bite! The interior vibe and service were great, too. Yet another Amsterdam place with dishes that look beautiful for Instagram. The presentation of the stacks are stellar, colors and plating done amazingly. They have plenty of tea options and you can have them with tapioca bubbles which we definitely liked a lot. I enjoyed the chai liquid nitrogen tea, though it could have been made even better would some milk I think. Unfortunately the cakes looked a lot better than it tasted. For me, the stacked "cakes" themselves were not to our liking. The cakes were much more cakey than my preference of fluffy pancakes. These were dense, and heavy thick chunks. The toppings were quite good though the fruit combined with the vegan cream and granola had lovely texture. We left having polished off all the toppings, but with more than one of the stack cakes left untouched. They are getting a new menu tomorrow though, so maybe would be worth combing back to try again. read more

I discovered this spot when searching for bubble tea and then saw the menu for vegan pancakes. I went around 10:30 and as a solo diner was seated quick. I had the hazelnut pancake and original bubble tea. Everything was really tasty and being made with vegan products was a huge plus. My stomach and body did not have any issues! Highly recommend going I believe the chocolate hazelnut is a favorite here but they also have savory options. I still dream about these fluffy pancakes and whenever someone asks me "what was the best thing you ate in Europe" I tell them about these pancakes. If you like breakfast food as much as I do, you have to make a pit stop at Mr.Stacks. The service was absolutely delightful. My friends and I were seated in minutes. I ordered a cappucino with oat milk (the place is vegan) and the chocolate pancake stack. I loved the fact that the pancake was not overflowing with sweet syrup. It had a great balance to the meal, with the sweet chocolate chips, coconut candy floss and the fresh fruits. Not to mention the portions are huge so you will definitely be full for half a day. My wife hates pancakes but she loved these because They were not too sweet, but still had a lot of flavor. Additionally, the presentation is incredibly beautiful. When your orders are ready the chef personally bring out your orders. What an incredibly friendly guy! The restaurant itself is clean and well taken care of. I stopped in looking for a quick brunch treat, but was very disappointed in the quality of food here. While the food was very visually appealing, the flavours strongly contradicted those feelings. The pancakes, which are one of the two 'main attraction,' had quite poor aspects. The "choco hazelnut" pancake was very similar to the "classic" in terms of plate content, and there was little to no chocolate present besides a few chocolate chips on the plate. Only the top pancake had chocolate on it, and the other 2 were the same berry jam as the classic. The cake itself was quite plain and dense, and the raspberry flavoured jam was overpowering. The berries and syrup were very sweet, but not many were present on the bottom pancakes. On the other side, the sesame cotton candy on top was good. The boba tea here is the second 'attraction', and while the tea was tasty, there were not many boba pearls inside. For a €0.50 price increase, there was almost no money value. The 'milky tea' was a normal tea with added milk, so it's not the bubble tea you would expect. It was good for a change, but very expensive for the quantity of tea (and boba). The base tea costs €4.50, but for a normal size cup it was hardly worth the price. I appreciate the motivation to go towards vegan-meat alternatives, but the normal dishes without any meat were still expensive for the quality provided. There is a tropical mood, with bamboo, music, and decorations, but the food doesn't match it at all. You would expect pineapple all over the menu and Caribbean flavours, but such are not present. Service was good, and the wait time was as expected. I would not recommend this place for someone looking for a brunch, but if the quality of food increases and the prices decrease, I could recommend it. The positive reviews may have gotten distracted by the atmosphere and visual appeals. read more
