Service was quick and the ladies working were very nice. The pancakes were soooo good we're still thinking about them. We got plain butter with powdered sugar and honestly I could've eaten at least three more orders worth of them. They really were that good. We ordered it for take out rather than dine in but they had plenty of seating inside and out. Highly recommend!

Food was great, enjoyed the outdoor seating. There is just something to say about pancakes and amsterdam! I got to experience the Dutch pancake in Amsterdam and somehow it tasted amazing. I've had it sweet and made it before, I never thought that you could have it Savory too. I had mine with chicken and mushrooms and it was so delectable, the pancake part was so thin and tasty what a great combination. If you ever get a chance to go to amsterdam, I think it's so great to try different flavors of different cultures and this was a great experience. I'd come here again for sure

The Dutch pancakes they have are damn good. I got the bacon, cheese and apple pancake. It was a unique and delicious pancake. I truly enjoyed it. The pancakes are on the pricey side and they do charge money to their customers to use the restroom. The service was good and the area was very nice. You should try them out if you're near a location.

Very expensive but delicious pancakes! Lots of savory and sweet options. There was one very busy server/food runner managing the entire place. As a result, it was a bit slow, but worked out. The restaurant on Des Negn Straatjes is small. But turnover is quick.

Delicious pancakes, I tried both the Dutch pancake with feta and spinach and the poffertjes with butter and sugar. Both were great options for savory and sweet, respectively! The ambiance is lovely and filled with light, and the service is very friendly.

Cute little place to grab breakfast in the city center (not the one near Anne Frank). Cozy restaurant with limited seating, luckily there wasn't a wait when we arrived on a Sunday around 9am. Menu was simple and like the name states - pancakes were mostly offered. I was able to start with a vanilla latte that came with a mini stroop waffle on the side. I also went with the American pancakes with bacon and a fried egg. Very delicious breakfast - the American waffles were so filling that I couldn't finish it all. Fast service and they gave us a wooden shoe keychain when we paid the bill. I would return!

This is right by the Anne Frank house. It's a big location and 3 of us were able to be seated with no reservation. The pancakes were good, but they charge for the toilet if you're a customer?! That's ridiculous! They also wouldn't split the check for us.

Very nice place! Excellent food and excellent GF options. They also have different coffee options and toppings for the pancakes. Very friendly staff to help you make a selection

Right next door to the Anne Frank house. Good food. The service was good. Prices are a little high but overall a good experience.

I found Pancakes Amsterdam a few weeks before we visited and planned to visit this one for brunch after the Anne Frank House. I so want to give this a higher rating because the food was delicious for me. I ordered the veggie pancake and added chicken and a few other things including mushrooms (which I did not receive - remember for later). It was the best pancake I've ever had and so unique. My mother ordered the American pancake breakfast with pancakes, bacon, and added strawberries. When she received her bacon, it was raw. Completely uncooked, minus about maybe 30 seconds on the griller. Our waiter had a very poor attitude when we asked for it to be cooked more and kept saying "it is cooked, this is how they cook it in the mornings". The bacon was raw. I can't imagine that they serve it like that to anyone. Finally, he took it back and when she received it again, it was still not fully cooked but more edible than before. We enjoyed our meal and when it was time to pay, a different waitress came and we reviewed the check. I noticed I was charged extra for mushrooms, which I had asked for but did NOT receive. We asked for that cost to be taken off because why pay if I didn't receive? Like our original waiter, she had an attitude. She finally walked away and went to her manager (who we could see) and started throwing a fit. She started mocking us and throwing her hands in the air. Finally, the manager came to us and we were NOT happy seeing what we had. Luckily, she was very kind. She explained that there was a problem with their system and some employees were upset. Still, NO excuse to treat people poorly. Especially two employees. She left and ANOTHER waitress came by with our check. She was also kind and took off the pancake for the issues two employees had caused. We didn't care, but this was nice. Not sure if I woild return to this location...

We had already gotten breakfast at their Central location, but we were walking around the area waiting for our Anne Frank's house reservation and came across this location. This is the only location that serves poffertjes! They are small mini goodness with powdered sugar and butter. We ordered take out and ate it outside, yum yum! Light, fluffy, bite size, and probably not good for my hips. You can also find these all over bakeries and street vendors in the city, but since it was right next to us, why not?

Dutch pancakes here are great. We had our doubts as this is right by the Anna Frank Museum, and we just assumed it was a tourist trap. However, we were lured in by the large, gluten, free sign that promise gluten-free pancakes. The Dutch pancakes here reminded us of crêpes Some of us got sweet and other discard savory, but they were all really good and surprisingly filling. This place gets a big thumbs up from us

Pros: Great location; next to Anne Franks house Good coffee; Dutch coffee was great Cons: The place can get really busy and run out of tables Good place to wait for your friends and family while they visit Anne Frank's House

The place has an incredible personality starting with the super narrow stairs you have to climb to get there. Gives you a feeling of a quirky fun atmosphere with teapots hanging from the ceiling. I suggest you order a savory and a sweet pancake so you can compare. We pick "The King" for sweet, with strawberries, powder sugar and whipped cream and the bacon, cheese and sugared ginger for savory. Both were really good but my fav definitely was the sweet one. The portion per pancake is enough for one person and they are also perfect for share if you order two or three. There are other pancake places but this one felt authentic!

We were there the day after Kings day and it was a lovely morning. The weather was cool, but not cold and we were able to enjoy the nice breeze and canal boats passing by. I was also able to connect to the WiFi from the Casino across the river. It was weak, but still worked. We were seated outside and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our order for food and drinks. We ordered the banana crepe to share and I got a coffee while my wife ordered the pear juice. The pair juice comes from a bottle. The coffee was served in a small cup and was ok. I am used to drinking it with cream and sweetener. But Europeans don't have these items, so I just drank it with sugar. I think we waited almost 30 minutes before our food came out. Now, we only ordered crepes with bananas inside. Usually at the mall, it takes a few minutes to make crepes. I don't know how it took almost 30 minutes for them to make 1 item. Mind you, the place was not full when we came, so I don't understand how long we had to wait for our server to order our food and why it took so long for them to make our food. Once it finally came out, I thought the crepe was good, but not out of your mind fantastic. It's just basic tbh. Will I ever come back, probably not due to the wait time and the food wasn't all that great.
