Good, but nothing too spectacular. I had to try dutch pancakes while visiting Amsterdam and this appeared as one of the best places. We came in the morning around opening time, and there weren't too many people inside. I got a classic pancake with banana inside since they were out of strawberries. They're all made to order of course, and came out pretty fast! The pancake was pretty large and generous in portion. I love how it waspresented :) The batter was good, and the bananas added a nice touch to it as well. I loved how fresh everything tasted. Went here 2 out of 3 days I was in Amsterdam with my wife. We both loved it. I made my own mini pancakes concoction while she ordered the vegan Chili pancakes. 5 out of 5 from both of us. It was so good we even got an order of pancakes with strawberries and vegan chocolate hazelnut sauce to share on top of our own orders on the second day. The drinks were awesome as well, I got the chai latte both days and it was great. Wife had the matcha latte and is normally not a fan of matcha but very much enjoyed her drink as well. This place is so cute and the name and its proximity to our hotel definitely caught our eye for a quick brunch. It's order at the counter and then find a seat. We selected one savory pancake ham and cheese roll and a sweet waffle with strawberries. Beware as our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and that pancake roll was so filling. Although it has vegan options, this restaurant was mostly non-vegan, which was counter to our expectations from the labeling on Google and the title. I ordered the vegan banana pancakes, which were passable. It had bits of ham in it, which was upsetting. Beware the high contimination risk for any vegans or vegetarians. read more

I love how they make the pancakes right in front of you. The fruit tasted super fresh and they were not stingy! The rolled pancake was slightly difficult to eat, but that made it fun! There is no wait time, and the music and store is a nice up beat vibe. My brother and I both got a pancake. I got the orient express with bacon added. the cilantro sauce they put on it tasted wonderful, it had a little spice to it with the taste of like a mint chutney. The Gouda and bacon paired very will to keep all the flavors together. My brother got the everybody's sweetheart. The sauce was good with the bananas but I just wasn't into a sweet pancake. It's cooked to order so you have to wait a few minutes for it but it is so good!! There are a few places to sit, you order the food from the cashier and then they bring it out to you. You can order waffles as well. I ordered the savory special "chilli in the house". This was filled with a chilli (no meat) and I added Gouda, cause cheese . My husband ordered a pannekoek with strawberries with cream and Maple syrup. Both were absolutely delicious and made for a fantastic start of touring Amsterdam for the day! read more

Cute, little shop near my hotel. I thought of the book "If You Give a Pig a Pancake". It is nestled in the corner, along a bike path, with other cute shops. Be prepared to wait at least 30 min. They had one person making the pancakes and one making orders. It was insane! There is seating, although limited. Inside is crowded with people waiting and it makes moving around difficult. I had been waiting outside right by a weed cafe, so I got hungry. I actually had time to explore and found a cafe that sold macarons. I bought a bunch of 'em and returned. My pancake still wasn't even ready. They have premade suggestions or you can choose your own toppings. It's very vegetarian friendly. I got banana and chocolate with powdered sugar. I also got to try the chili rolled pancake. It was beans and tomatoes with spices. I felt the flavor was lacking. It was surprisingly filling! If you are patient enough, come. Excellent Vegan Pancakes! I'm so happy I went to this pancake shop! The menu was very vegan friendly. I wanted to indulge in Dutch pancakes during my time in Amsterdam and this store was my ticket. I enjoyed the "Everybody's Sweetheart" special with vegan pancakes, chocolate hazelnut spread, bananas, and sliced almonds. It was absolutely delicious. My dad enjoyed their vegan savory special and loved it as well. The store is small with only 4 tables for 2-4 people. Mine was bacon & maple syrup (see photo), and it was good! We arrived in on as very hot day (rare in Amsterdam) and it was smoldering inside the restaurant! This was brunch on Saturday b for us.
