Amazing breakfast spot in centrum. Get there early before a line builds. All the omelets are amazing and they have tasty fresh juices!

I got off the train and had time to kill so I came by for a breakfast. I had a cappuccino along with the Big Ben, which included toast, bacon, sausage, onions, tomatoes, and beans. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. The servers were very friendly. They greeted me the minute I walked in, and it took less than five minutes to receive my order. It's a nice spot inside with lots of seating. Once I finished with my meal, I went to the checkout desk to pay. My meal with the cappuccino was €20. Overall, it was a delicious breakfast with great service.

Very long line up and you should expect to wait 30mins + unless you go right when they open up. We ordered the scrambled egg and smoked salmon toast and the smoked salmon benny which was ok. It wasn't outstanding or anything special. The portions were big. Come if you don't mind waiting.

Such a cozy spot! We tried to go several mornings but there was a long line at around 9 or 10 on the weekends. Came tuesday around 8:30 and there was plenty of space! So many omelette variations, such a pleasant spot for breakfast!

This restaurant is one of my favorite breakfast spots when visiting Amsterdam. They are about a 5/10 minute walk from Central station depending on your pace. The restaurant is small and cozy, which is very common in the neatherlands. We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. Once inside, service is usually pretty fast. I ordered the Pastrami Avocado Omelegg, which was beef pastrami, avocado, tomato (I opted for none), mustard, and farmer cheese. The Omelegg was served with a side salad and a piece of whole grain bread. This was honestly one of the best omelets I have had it was cooked to perfection. You can tell that they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. My favorite part was the farmers' cheese. The cheese you eat in the neatherland does not compare to the cheese here in the USA. When ordering, they will allow you to remove or add an ingredient, but they do not allow subsituting. Service is always great and the staff is very friendly. They also do not split checks or accept split payments, so keep that in mind if dining with a large group. When I go back to Amsterdam, I will defiently be dining here again and again.

We ate here twice during our visit to Amsterdam. The location was very convenient from the train station. The restaurant isn't large, but they move people in and out quickly and service is friendly and efficient. The food was good! I liked the omelet with the smoked salmon. The eggs were slightly runny still, but since it was on both visits, I think that is how they cook them. Fresh orange juice was also delicious. Recommend if you are in the area!

This place is so cute and wonderful! The restaurant is small but cozy and comfortable. The service was great! We came on a Friday morning and it was busy but service was still very quick! We both got omelettes and they were delicious. My husband got the banana peanut butter omelette and I got the Viking fisherman. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly! We got a side of bacon and avocado for our toast. Whenever we are in Amsterdam we will certainly be back!

This place is so small and cute and boy do they hustle! We lucked out and didn't have to wait but the outside line seemed to go fast because the food comes FAST. The only reason I'm taking a star away is because we sat so close to the kitchen and all of our eyes were watering from the onions. It was painful. They also don't have decaf coffee or alt milks fyi. The ginger tea was great and of course we all LOVED our food. Cheesy eggs on a croissant were the best item we got.

Lovely first stop upon our arrival to Amsterdam. After a short wait, we were seated and served within minutes and were in and out within 35 minutes! Highly recommend the iced coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and the Pastrami Avocado & Ham & Cheese omelettes!

Great choice for an early breakfast (one of the few places that opens early in the area) Nicely prepared omelette/eggs with friendly staff that is very efficient. Also works well for takeout (which we did twice after eating at the restaurant!)

Mushroom, Truffle Cheese omelet with fresh bread.

After arriving in Amsterdam early in the morning and checking into our hotel, we were ready for a decent breakfast. Omelegg was just around the corner from our hotel, so we stopped in and were not disappointed. We were seated in the cute little cafe inside, and Mr. Bee ordered the Popeye Omelet, filled with spinach, mushroom, onion, and cheese. It was tender, cooked perfectly, and filled with delicious fresh ingredients. I went with a make-your-own omelet and filled it with tender mushrooms and truffle cheese. It was perfect. The truffle cheese added another layer of mushroom flavor that took the omelet over the top. The service was quick and friendly. This was a great start to incredible food in Amsterdam.

Breakfast was very good! I had the ham and cheese omelet for breakfast with toast and a side salad! There was a line outside around 10:30 am so be prepared to wait. The omelet was a bit undercooked for my American omelet standards but with another minute on the stove, it was perfect. My Latte was tasty and they have Togo cups if you don't finish.

Everything about this place was great!…read more I'll start with the service. We walked in around 4:10 and they didn't start food service for another 20 minutes. The waiter was super cool and told us to have a seat anywhere we liked and brought us a drink menu. He knew we wanted to eat so at exactly 4:30 he came and took our orders. Through out the meal he was on top of everything and even offered many suggestions! The food was spectacular as well. I had the trio of fries and my friends had other small plates that were all so good! And the sauces that come with the fries, mamma mia! We also shared the Boca's Platter and it was absolutely to die for. Do not pass this up. I repeat, do not pass this up! Between 4 people, the medium was plenty of food. The space itself was also nice. They had outdoor seating for nicer days. We went right when food service began on a Monday afternoon so can't speak to how busy it gets during peak hours. Go for the great service, go for the Boca Platter, whatever you do, just go!

The bruschetta was delicious and if you love blue cheese, get it...it's extremely rich and creamy. The three kinds of fries were solid; curly, sweet potato, and regular with some chili ketchups. The boca platter was HUGE and we got the medium for 4 people. Came with steak, fried shrimp, mackerel potato salad, crostini, and an assortment of cheeses and some pepperoni. Last but not least...my favorite...the tartare. The quail egg was delicately placed atop the center of the meat and placed alongside the four little crostini on the plate. It was juicy and had so much flavor, a little spicy but not an overwhelming amount of chili spice. This meal reminded me of tapas in Madrid; definitely stop by bocas and get everything!

Coffee & Coconuts, seriously another amazing cafe that I visited during my trip in Amsterdam!…read more This cafe is hidden on the outside, but once you step inside, it is massively huge with three stories of dining tables. After waiting to be seated, our hostess guided us upstairs to the third floor, where they have several more dining tables and cozy couches that you can sit on while you enjoy your coffee. My parents, having visited this cafe before during their last trip to Amsterdam, raved about this place and suggested that I try their famous coconut coffee. All three of us ordered their coconut coffee, with my dad adding an espresso shot to his own so that he could stay awake for the rest of the night. Once I reached that first sip, OMG. SO DELICIOUS. How can I make my own coconut coffee back at home?! I loved it so much that I really want to make a copycat of it. The straws are also bendable, which really makes it handy if you need to lower your straw a bit. If I could, I would get on a plane to Amsterdam just to come back for their coconut coffee. That's how delicious it is! Local or tourist, I strongly suggest Coffee & Coconuts. You will not regret coming here at all!
