Cute little spot. They take reservations and it's recommended to make them, especially on the weekend. Luckily we stayed overnight in the area and were able to make a reservation on Monday morning since the weekend brunch times were hard to get reservations for, especially for a larger group. Everything was delicious !!! Good food, drinks, and vibes. My favorite was the Turkish eggs. So so good.

This place was recommended to us by our hotel staff and it was just a couple of blocks away from our hotel. The staff were all very nice and welcoming right away. We sat and ordered coffee and water. My wife got the Eggs Benedict Norwegian and I got the Donut Fried Chicken. Mine was fantastic. The sweet and the salty is like fried chicken and waffles, but a bit lighter. It is not a light meal, but felt lighter than waffles. It was very good and I would get it again. My wife liked hers as well, but said the lox was a bit fishy for her tastes. I tasted it and it was fine, so maybe just not as smoked as she likes. It is a chill place to go for all day brunch and there are two locations, so stop in and give them a try.
The food was very meh. I got a Greek shashuka and the poached eggs were fully cooked so they were basically boiled eggs. The spinach was kinda weird but I was just happy to find a vegetable in Europe. The banana bread was also meh. The coffee was meh. I didn't try the chicken katsu but my husband didn't complain. It seemed like a place tourists go probably because there are a decent amount of Yelp reviews. But I advise going elsewhere for a better menu.
Ted's is a very chic restaurant with friendly staff that all speak English, and I loved that the menu was also in English. I got there around 10:40am on a Friday and there were many open tables inside, because it seemed everyone wanted to bask in the sunlight outside. I got the Banana Pancakes 2.0, which were three pancakes with toasted marshmallows, chocolate, banana, blueberries, and hazelnut crumble. The pancakes weren't as sweet or fluffy as I had hoped they would be, and to be very straightforward, they were pretty bland by itself. I had to make sure I was getting a bite of at least one topping to get some sweetness into my mouth. I loved the toasted marshmallows, as they were crunchy on the outside and ooey-gooey on the inside. The size was also pretty small for the price (11 euros). Water is self-serve at the counter, and there's a bathroom at the back of the restaurant. I love the decor and the vibes, but perhaps I'll just stick to eating street food when I'm in Amsterdam
The service was great! We arrived with no reservations and were Sat immediately. The atmosphere was great. Laid back and friendly. The decor was amazing. Our server was very accommodating and helpful with food allergies. I highly recommend this place if you are ever visiting Amsterdam.
The food here is delicious but the staff is so rude. We walked in and we're ignored at first and then once they noticed us we were rudely greeted and told to sit down. The restaurant was definitely busy so we didn't mind waiting a bit for our food but the attitude of the staff was definitely not appropriate. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The restaurant itself is super cute and hip. Definitely a fun spot for brunch with friends. It's know for it's variety of mimosas and other drinks. It has a great variety of coffees and other brunch items. Everything on the menu sounded delicious so it was hard to pick from! I decided on an iced americano and the eggs Benedict which comes on a croissant instead of the traditional English muffin. The croissant was so flakey and more dense than a normal croissant which was great because it held up with hollandaise sauce. The good was delicious, as well as the coffee. If I were ever to go back to Amsterdam I would definitely go back to Teds! Hopefully the staff will be a bit nicer next time.
After a long walk around Amsterdam we stumbled upon Ted's. What an awesome experience. Best fries I have ever had + delicious warm drink + a great atmosphere!!
This was the first time I tried pulled jackfruit!! Couldn't believe it! It tastes pretty good.
Fresh squeezed orange juice was nowhere near as good as we expected. It was sour and tasted almost unripe but we were very thirsty. The bar seemed to be staffed by one person and it was piled high with dirty dishes... I've never seen anything like it! read more
Great food. Service was just OK. I'm not sure if it's a European thing but we waited a long time to be asked if we wanted a drink (20-25 minutes). I finally had to ask someone if we could order some cappuccinos and tea. It was just the two of us and we were seated at the window, as opposed to at a table or outside. With that said, the food was very tasty. I had the Croque Madame. i will say that once we did order our food, it came out fairly fast. Getting the bill also took a really long time. It was close to closing time. And maybe they were trying to wrap things up. again, i had to ask for the bill. Again, i'm not sure if this was their way of saying, "No rush" or it was neglect. It felt like neglect. Since I'm not sure, i will not take any stars away. just keep this in mind. if i had waited as long at home, I would have given Ted's three stars because of the lack of attentiveness. I came to the Teds All Day Brunch in Haarlem. It is just a great place to grab some food. Great and delightful staff here and so kind. This environment is very welcoming and has positive vibes. The bacon here is so delicious along with French toast. And especially their fries with truffle mayo and Parmesan cheese. read more

I'm the kind of person that when I'm traveling, hates to go anywhere that 1. I can get back home or 2. is a place I've already been. Unfortunately, Teds broke that rule for me...a few times. An easy 5 star review for a restaurant that continuously gave me everything I wanted and more. Just a short walk from the hotel I was staying, I found this to be in a great location with a great ambiance. Service was standard for what I received in Amsterdam, very quick and efficient without the fancy of nicety. I ordered several different dishes (trying to at least try something new since I ate here four times in one week). All of them were very tasty and well cooked. Coffee was also great. If you're a breakfast lover like me, this is the place to visit. 5/5 location, 4/5 service, 5/5 food. Make Teds a stop (or two) on your Amsterdam trip! read more
My boyfriend and I found Teds by accident while out exploring. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. This was my favorite breakfast while in Amsterdam. read more

Our 2nd day in Amsterdam and this is our 2nd breakfast spot. It was a short walk from our hotel and was a Tuesday morning. We were seated instantly and there was plenty of room. The staff was friendly and attentive. The vibe and ambiance was very casual and relaxing. Perfect breakfast nook if you aren't looking for packed and noisy places as a few other areas. The food and drinks were great. Party of 3 and we had 0 complaints about the food. The salmon is so fresh and clean I'd recommend ordering any menu item with it. 10/10 would eat again. read more

Looking for a place to have breakfast and not too far from where we were staying we found TEDS, a small cozy place that has inside and outside seating options and is within the Amsterdam rings. Breakfast is delicious, the service is great though it can be a bit slow at times but the great breakfast makes up for it. I would most definitely stop by next time I find myself in Amsterdam, we liked it so much that we went there for two days in a row. read more

I won't write a long review for this place because it's unnecessary - it's simply excellent! From the bright, modern interior, to the friendly staff, to the delicious and fresh food and drinks, TED knocked it out of the park on every level. Highly recommend if you're in Amsterdam looking for somewhere to brunch. read more

Our first brunch in Amsterdam and Ted's did not disappoint! We started off with a coffee and ginger/lemon tea, both were great We ordered the Triple Omega and Ted's Club Sandwich and both were delicious! Highly recommend them both. The staff is very friendly and make sure everything is going well for you. Also, the food comes out quickly. Decor- Exactly what you would want for a cafe/breakfast/brunch spot in Amsterdam. Outdoor seating is available. Cleanliness- Very clean and the bathrooms smell great! read more
Came here for weekday brunch on a rainy morning. I'm so in love with this restaurant's interior! They've got seats at the bar, benches and seats at the regular dining area, and a sofa/living room type area up front where you can sit while sipping on coffee and catching up on morning news. Such a cute idea that I wish more American cafes would adapt. Service was quick, but they ran out of the cereal I ordered and didn't let me know until after my boyfriend was done eating. I opted for a yogurt/granola bowl instead, and got a slice of NY cheesecake. The bowl was okay - a bit too sour and soupy for me. The cheesecake though was great (though you can never really go wrong with cheesecake.) My boyfriend liked his omelet. Th fresh squeezed OJ was fine - a bit warm. Overall a good addition to sit-down brunch spots in the area. read more
I was on my own one morning and needed some breakfast. I found TEDS was nearby and well-reviewed, so I walked over on a rainy Sunday morning. It was not (yet) busy, and appeared very pleasant and inviting: light pastel colours, cozy pillows, a very relaxed layout. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the sourdough toast with goat's cheese, pear, avocado, and honey. It was spectacular: sweet and savoury, with huge slabs of cheese. It was a delight to mush the components together and get them down my neck. Fantastic. If only the coffee had been a little better - it was OK, but not great - then this would be a 5-star review. read more
Great Breakfast/Brunch in Amsterdam! We ordered the Eggs Norwegian and the Eggs Benedict and both were delicious! Highly recommend them both. The place was very packed with tourists when we went, but we were able to get a nice little seat outside and it was perfect. I really have no complaints about this place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast or lunch while touring the city. read more

Dropped by TEDS to try out an "Eggs Benedict". The place was really cute and trendy. There were motivational phrases written everywhere, which I thought was really thoughtful and nice =). The Eggs Benedict itself was pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of their hollandaise, but otherwise, the food was quite satisfactory. read more

The atmosphere at TEDS is pretty cozy and the outdoor seating on a nice day looks great. The staff is pretty nice but moving around a little clueless. As far as the food I would say it's average. We weren't inspired by any of the meals it was just a meal. We ended up ordering a pitcher of Blood Mary's but after a few glasses it was just too salty. The meals were mostly eggs Benedict, French toast and sandwiches. Everything tasted good but nothing was great. The search continues but if you're in the area and want to try something new it is a good experience. read more
So delicious! Glad this spot showed up when I was searching for breakfast places nearby, as it was fantastic! It took a while for us to be seated but was worth the wait. We ordered the Norwegian Benedict, pancakes, soup, Philly cheesesteak, and the super omega. All were done perfectly--apart from the pancakes, one of which was overlooked/burnt and another undercooked, which was odd but still tasted fine under all that Nutella. Service was friendly and price was fantastic. Highly recommend! read more

I saw Ted's everywhere on social media. And I was dying to come here. So when I finally got here I was super excited. And in all honesty I was disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much. But it was average. Very. Service was good. Super friendly. Took us quite long to get our drinks though. Atmosphere is really nice. Very cute design. Coffee- not so good. Not well made. Food. Oh food. The part I was excited about the most. First of all they were out of croissants before noon. For a place that serve brunch all day.... I meam come on... The bread was cheap albert hijen bread and not good at all. Soak up everything and became saggy in a minute. Not much veggie options so I asked for extras. Now I don't mind paying extra. I really don't. But to pay 2 euro for 3 slices of tomato (basically less then half) and about two mushrooms?! I really wanted this place to be good. I was really excited for a new breakfast place close to my home. I am not excited anymore. read more
